I filed 1/24, accepted 1/25. Been NA no movement on anything at all. My return and record of account transcripts have been NA and everything else was showing no return filed. This evening my return and record of account scripts are there, but the rest say the same no return filed. I’m just happy to see ANY movement at this point. My state return was just sent out today, I never usually get state before federal.

My 570 code says additional action required and the amount went to $0.00 . Does that mean I wont get my my expected amount refund?
Or do all 570 codes result in a 0 balance ?

To be honest everyone is different because I recieved a letter ASAP and it told me to verify my income they wanted 1099 and w2s. But mine is good now and is being processed. I never called but I see the transcripts. Also my WMR showed letter sent and after sending the documents it changed to processing again. So it’s really hard telling the reason. My guess is ID Verif or Income withholding check.

Usually a weekly and was hopeful for an update tonight, however my id.me for myself and hubby updated under notifications to verify information on our 2023 tax return. No letter sent and nothing under notices. Basically states 21 days from when we filed to expect a letter and looks like another possible 9 weeks for an update. Anyone have to go through this, have a better idea. Is it really going to take that long? Only thing new this year was we claimed his daughter , who we now have custody of. Never had to do anything like this before. 😒

Hubby and I are weeklies and have had the bottom two transcripts for 2023 show, however blank. We we’re hopeful for an update tonight, however logged into ID. me portal on both our portals and both say this under notifications as of today (Verify Your Tax Return Information Now
We need more information about your 2023 tax return before it can be processed) Saw a letter coming on informed delivery today but it was just a letter stating i set up my online access. No letters showing sent. So I’m assuming we have to verify w-2’s or something. Only change this year is that we claimed his daughter because she now lives with us. Basically states wait almost 21 days for letter. 7 days from when you file plus 14 days. 🤦‍♀️ Anyone else’s portal showing the same or did and then was nothing? Never went through this before. Was really hopeful for an update to a DD and not this. Lame! 😒 When they give money they want to verify w-2’s but when we owe, nah it’s good, send us our money. IRS is a bunch of BS.

If you got 810 call make your own appointment verify identity they also told me up to 180 days and that it could be released sooner I have no letters also the representative look to see if I had mail coming and noting I also talk to some one work inside irs they said it’s a stall tactic a lot of people have 810 and says no tax refund filled. So I’m guessing is a stall tactic we will get are money before. 180 days if you don’t get letter

I’m praying we all get our updates! And @Kaitlyn Martin I’ve seen many people go from blank and n/a transcripts to being all the way updated with code 846. So hopefully that’s the case for all of us!

We had in person verification at IRS office 2 hours away. They said they released our return for processing and gave us the generic “9 weeks message but may be sooner.”

Anyone do this same process? If so? When should we expect to update and hopefully see a DDD?

Received refund today, shocking because I didn’t check my transcript today because I’m a weekly ( 05 always have been) Im so use to checking it Friday early morning every yr. But today at 1:01pm in Georgia I got a notification of deposit on chime from Treasury Dept.

I am doing 1099-R that was a Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions but when i try to file this at TurboTax it says this is not yet available and try back later. I contacted customer service and they informed me that they had same issue last year. Any1 know what the hell is going on with turbotax?

Same with my California refund, Jan 25th. SoFi had the same story that it was due to “business account coding” which is a ridiculous copout. After the 3rd customer service rep, I was told SoFi having the issue, and it had been resolved, I was assured that my Fed refund was not going to have any problems being direct deposited into this account. WRONG!!! I Just received an email to the contrary…. It has been returned to the IRS and a check will be issued. This is beyond frustrating……..

Look at prior year transcript and see if there are codes after you received your prior years refund. Also, the random review can be anyone for any reason …just chosen randomly.

Came to say the same @Angela! For me, though, my Chime is only in my name but taxes were under both husband and I. Received an email from Chime asking to submit the form that lists his name and a copy of my ID. Email stated I had 24 hours to submit the documentation or they would return the refund to IRS. Im thinking we’ll update tonight for transcripts w/ DD; unsure on WMR as thats been hit or miss over the years.

Mine went to error department need to wait 10 weeks if they solve it. If not they are sending a letter for more information and wait another 8 weeks if I send what why need that’s crazy.
