I am sure irs don’t work weekends. I will not be using tax act next year as my refund took forever last year with them to. And I paid all fees up front both times.

For the last couple of years I’ve been getting an approved update on Saturday the following week of filing. I was able to order my account transcript but not return. I believe we all should get approved this weekend with deposits next week. Hoping!

So here’s a thread for people who can order an account transcript but not a return transcript.

Last year several of us ended up getting pushed back an entire week with blank account transcripts, so it is quite possible that some of us may face that this year as well. This thread is for people who cannot get their return transcript yet.

For my part, I was able to order my account transcript earlier this morning but have seen no movement toward my return transcript being available. It’s still early, but given last year’s experience, I am understandably a bit nervous about it.

Here’s hoping we all get our return transcripts and DDDs soon.

So let me get this straight… if you are able to order your transcripts then something should happen very soon right? I filed on 1/11, accepted 1/13 and haven’t been able to order any of my transcripts as of yesterday… this morning however I was able to order both… that’s a good sign right?

If you are able to request transcripts that means that your income tax return has been processed.

I filed on the 19th and was accepted on the 19th and I am not able to order transcripts. So that means it has not been processed.

I was finally able to order both my account and refund transcript to my current updated address instead of my old address from last year. Im hoping for a update soon. According to TT 3% have received their refund. It looks like a lot of us early filers have been seeing some type of progress today, that is encouraging for sure.

This is some serious bs. I filed on the 13th, got accepted on the 14th, got excited thinkibg Id have gotten something but no, nothing, no DDD, nothing in my credit union, I cant even order my transcripts. Wtf. Last year I filed early and got my refund back in 6 days. This is ridiculous now.

Hey guys if u were able to order ur account transcripts and u havent been able to previously, that means ur return has been processed. They have it in the system and now all to do is wait for a DDD or possibly ur actual refund at the same time. For me, my refund came before WMR updated. It was updated maybe a couple days after i received it. Hope this helps!!

Looks like most of us weekly filers who were in the first cycles are able to do transcripts this morning. That’s positive news! Hopefully we will see a WMR update in the morning. That’s how it was last year after I learned what a transcript was and how to read it.

My former tax preparer doesn’t even know about that code and wants me to teach him. They charged me $300 to file my taxes. How much should I charge for the transcript code lesson?

Filed 1/11 accepted 1/12. Still 1 bar on WMR…BUT…..I was FINALLY able to order my refund transcript for this year. Not only that I was able to use my new address. Before this morning my new address was incorrect information and my old address it said that it was unavailable. Feeling a bit better now. Maybe money on Monday or Tuesday :)

Just an FYI….For the person that posted the “fake” screenshot….the IRS always always list the last 4 of your social security number on any correspondence….including where’s my refund. If you’re going to be deceptive…be correct in your deceptions. If anyone doubts it….go to wheres my refund and check the accuracy for yourself. Great day.

Being that I am a tax auditpr…I am pretty accurate. Lots of audits were done in the months of September and October for the previous tax year. Due to these audits and those refunds being released, no refunds have been released for the 2015 tax year. These forums go up every year with ppl claiming things untrue. Expect updates on 2/1. Filed 1/7 Accepted 1/11. 1 bar on WMR still. I was able to order return transcript for tax year 2015. I used TT for the 4th or 5th year in a row. Usually get quick returns! Hoping it comes today as I’m excited to go shopping for baby clothes!

I applied on 1/20 through Tax Act and was accepted on 1/20. Only one bar showing on WMR. I am sure I am weekly because in the past years I have had an offset. This year I don’t tho. I have not been able to get an account or return transcript until this morning. I was able to get both. Making progress!

@Mat I am from OHIO and I just check everyone in my house and one says that they have been processed and 7 days. Mine says that it is still processing. And my son’s says that it will be mailed out soon.

Now the federal is 21 days period but even if you filed early, they did not begin processing until the 19th so it would be 21 days from that date, 1/19.

This is just a thought. I have absolutely no facts to back this up but last year I noticed last year and again this year that people who filed BEFORE the IRS was accepting returns had a longer wait for their money. Last year and this year I filed the day after they began accepting returns and I was in the first group of refunds issued. Just a thought.

If you were able to order transcripts then yes you should reasonably expected a DDD soon. Keep in mind that sometimes WMR doesn’t update. I have had it not update but had my refund. So here is to having our refunds soon!! :)

Maybe i could shed some light to everyone that getting account transcript.for those that has gotten an account transcript it means that your return has been through all checks for debt that you may have.so for those that got there account transcript and still have topic 152 and no error code on wmr that mean that you have no offsets and you may get your full refund..also it mean you are in the final stages of being processed.
