I am a 1/25er and I was able to order my transcripts last night but Where’s My Refund (WMR) still says processing. I called the 1-800# talked to a Mr. Frank who was very nice asked me all my return info SS# and filing status and then said please hold while i open your return he then came back he std that they have my refund and it is being processed.I do believe that the reps do know whats going on with your return but cant say so, I then asked about transcripts for 2012 cause i was finally able to order them last night when the days before i wasnt, he then went on to say that if my transcripts were able to be ordered last night give it another 24-48 hours and I should have a DD date. He did confirm that if you tried to order transcripts before and it said none were on file and a couple days later like me it says that you will recieve them in 7-10 buis days that the taxes are in deed done but there is no DD date yet. He did say that they are updating Where’s My Refund (WMR) every 24 hours including weekends sat and sunday. Hope this helps someone who is in the same boat as me

I filed yesterday. I also filed one a few days before that with the 8863, but that one was still pending and TaxACT said they hadn’t even sent it yet. I deleted the 8863 and refiled and was accepted fairly quickly. Still waiting on approval though.

Got my refund on Wednesday night….Hope you all have yours too, I used the Netspend card. Netspend was an issue, but it is resolved now.

Woke up to check WMR only to find the same 21 day message…
Called the 1800 number and spoke to a nice guy about if I had an offset or not. While on the phone I asked the status and was finally giving some good news!!

Its kind of looking like the wmr and phone hotline are a little unreliable. Its probably best to make a call and poke and prod!

Still nothing here either. I have been able to finally order the transcripts as of this morning. Hopefully we’ll get our money soon. It’s not a want with me but a NEED!!! Every year that I file mine early I get a delay. Next year I’m filing the day they open. lol

Has any one used taxact and got there refund yet..I do taxes every year for my family and friends and every year I use taxact, I knew that this year would be a little different due to all the changes that they have put in place this year.I have accepted dates of 1/19-1/24-1/25-1/26-1/28 and the 30th and all are still processing has any one else used taxact and was accepted on one of those dates and got a refund???

Hello to all I do tax for  my family and friends every year,and ever year I use taxact…This year i knew it would be a little different due to all the change they have put in place.I got accepted dates of 1/19 still processing 1/25 still processing 1/26-1/27-1/28 and 1/29 and all are still processing…What is going on????..Has any one else use TAXACT and received a due date for there refund???

I checked the WMR site and it showed up. It’s been glitchy on and off for me… I also had to use my wife’s SSN to look it up as searching with mine told me it was not available.

I just true to order a transcript and was successful. It said that would arrive in 5-10 business days. But the wmr still shows processing and confirmed with the phone automated system dd of 2-5

I also got accepted on the 23rd along with my sister and a few friends. They all got their returns today but mine is still showing as processing.
I was not able to order my return transcripts last night but was able to do it today so that might be a positive sign.

For those of you stressed that you cant get info on wmr….that is actually a good thing. It did that to me yesturday and today I have a dd of 2/5. So breath easy and look on the bright side!!!

I can order my return transcripts for this year and also the account transcripts. I am hoping that is a good sign. The WMR site tells me I am still processing and so does the 800 number. I was hoping to get good news when I logged on this morning. I called the IRS and was told that there is no way anyone has a DD yet because they just opened on the 30th. She also completely refused to look up my information for me because it takes three weeks to process. I was hoping she could give me some kind of information and the only thing she told me was that Thursdays are when WMR and the 800 line update.

I filed with Turbotax on the 24th and was accepted late in the evening on the 28th. I just got a DD this morning of 2/5 and if refund is not there by the 2/10 to check with the bank.

Ordered my transcripts today and was able to do that but still no DD date.
Will get paid DD through SBBT so I’ll keep everyone posted. I’m hoping I get DD on Monday or Tuesday. But since I’m in Ohio and SBBT is in California I’m guessing the time difference may delay me a day :(

OP for the 26er thread, here. My DD was set for 4 February. It’s pending with my bank as of this morning. USAA almost NEVER shows a pending deposit for me, even with DD paychecks. If they’re showing it, it should post tonight, and it’s available today. Anyone else get the magical 1 Feb DD?

I got my W-2 on 1/08 filed on 1/13 got accepted 1/31 at 2am and got a deposit date of 2/5 this Morning! I used H & R Block Home Edition and chose direct deposit.

I filed 1/16 and was accepted 1/24. Where’s My Refund (WMR) only ever told me the generic processing message since Wednesday no transcripts or anything. I decided to check the Where’s My Refund (WMR)/SBTPG sites and with no luck decided to order for transcripts and was actually able to order my return transcript for the first time (I wasn’t able to this morning). Nothing monumental enough to make me anymore anxious for my refund but enough that I wanted to share. Here’s to hoping that the transcript theory holds some water and Where’s My Refund (WMR) updates for all of us still waiting in the morning.

I filed with JH on 1/22 My State and Federal was accepted on 1/24. Wmr is still processing with generic message 21 days. When I filed my taxes on 1/22 my JH preparer told me that I should have mines by 2/14 and that’s what it looks like it’s coming too. And yes I am a 8863′er.

I think it means they finished processing your return. I was just able to order mine too, and wasn’t able to a few hours ago. Hopefully that means the refunds will be approved soon. I don’t mind waiting, but it always irks me when people accepted later get DD before people who were accepted sooner. I saw a 27 get a date of 2/1, and I am 25 but still show processing.

Just got my Return in my bank account at 12:07 AM 2/1/13…. exactly 5 days after I was accepted.

I have to say this has to be some kind of record!!!

I am in Texas, and filed a simple 1040 via turbotax.

I REPEAT I GOT MY RETURN ALREADY DESPOSITED, AND 5 DAYS AFTER ACCEPTED!!!!!

Hopefully tomorrow I will see more progress. It appears that the IRS is moving returns through fairly quickly this year, according to many of the posts I’ve seen on this site.

Some folks have gone from Filing to getting a DD date within 3 days. At least that’s what they are claiming.

I’ve been reading the forum and see a lot of people talking about ordering transcripts. I was just able to order my 2012 transcript about 10 min ago. Prior to that it said it wasn’t available. What is the purpose of ordering them?
