A code 290 is additional tax assessed. If it has a dollar figure next to it they are taking that amount from your return. If it is zero you are fine@mel9972 If you want to fax you have to remember there are 13 different tax
processing centers. If you have a 5071C letter use this fax number

I sent the info to congress 4/28 responded the next day
I sent the info to Senator 4/29 responded the next day. I replied to both the same day they sent there response.Just waiting on a response.
I e-filed 2/6 accepted same day still nothing

I don’t waste my time with TA’s not a good experience I bypass them.
@Shelley you said congress can help you f you have prior years they owe you they can help the holds get released correct? If you owe they cannot help right?
