March 9, 2020 at 8:49 pm in reply to: We have received your tax return and it is being processed #4391230@cadkins85 They told me I was on a 45 day review for income & credit verification when I called on 3/5, never got a letter. Checked on 3/7 & it was approved.
Erica,
You did an @duncan which sent me a notification, because that is my registered username on here, however I am not the person who posted earlier. They must have logged in as a guest and are using the same username
They process refunds for mailed tax returns in 6 to 8 weeks from the time they receive it.
your refund should come 6 to 8 weeks after the IRS receives your return.
Danielle, I received state back on feb 16th.
Karin that’s a good idea here is the website for more info
Sorry to hear that. Something is obviously holding up your return and delaying your refund. I filed 2/8 and got my refund 2/22 with EITC/ACTC.
You should call them again. I would if I was you. Seems like people get different responses and varying amounts of information depending on the rep they happen to get or possibly what number they call.
RE: problems/refund delays due to using pay your return fees by deducting from your refund, let this be a lesson to everyone to learn from.
Going forward pay fees up front.
Also there are quite a few free efile websites for federal and even some for state if you qualify. just have to research a bit.
That way when it refund time comes around its just the IRS depositing into your checking account.
And if you have an issue with your refund its much easier to handle.
check the account and routing numbers. you may have a typo. if not then call the irs to confirm they didnt decide to hold your refund for some reason.
Ben did you claim your own children or did you claim a qualifying relative?
Most major banks deposit it on the actual date. The ones who got it earlier are a majority of prepaid debit cards, particularly NetSpend although I did see a one or two people who banked with credit unions.
Glad to hear you finally got your DDD.
They probably just caught it recently. Takes them a while to sift through and cross-reference.
sam have u called the irs yet?
my money got deposited yesterday.
sam when u say u were accepted on the 10th, do u mean thats when the wmr site showed a status or when ur tax filing company sent u an email saying that.
i filed the 8th and a few hours later received an email from my tax filing company that the irs had accepted mu return, but the wmr site didnt show anything until the 10th
can u call chase and see if they see any pending deposits… if not then call the irs and follow up.
No, you dont need a driver license to file a federal tax return.
https://www.irs.gov/uac/newsroom/how-new-identity-security-changes-may-affect-taxpayers-for-2016
probably after your offset appeal has finished, since it didnt come today.
Not sure. Do you have a DDD on the WMR site?
February 23, 2017 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Anybody filed on or before January 23rd still no due date #4185597You should call them.

Maybe you can ask them what their experience was like.
If it was me, I would call them back and make sure they received the fax.
February 22, 2017 at 11:36 pm in reply to: Received an email saying irs had accepted taxes now it's completely gone #4184905After you file and it is accepted, it takes a while for it to show up on the WMR site. What does the IRS Where’s my refund site show now?
You should call them to follow up and make sure they received the Fax.
Sorry to hear that. Someone else posted on another thread they used the Wire Transfer routing number for Wells Fargo instead of the routing number for the checking account.
So when you called GoBank, the rep texted you the wrong number? I wonder if they share the same call center.
They don’t flag returns or or abruptly decide to send out a letter just because someone calls them. If anyone has filed 2/8 and have not received a DDD or their money yet, then their return is held up for some type of review (ID Verification, incorrect data or EIC/ACTC dependent verification, audit).
DDD Feb 22nd. Received money in bank today.
Also would be helpful if you copy/paste the exact message. Is there any numbers or code or anything else to add? or it only says that?
Your title says state refund message. Can you put the state you are referring to?
I filed 2/8 and got my money today. Can you guys call the IRS and ask them the status of your return/refund?
2/8 filed EITC and ACTC
2/8-2/9 no info found on IRS site
2/10 being processed 1 bar
2/11 bars gone path message
2/16 processing message no bars
2/17 WMR DDD of 2/22
2/22 Received money at Wells FargoI got my deposit today in my bank and the WMR site still only shows 2 bars, so it isn’t up-to-date.
Yes there are different routing numbers for Wire Transfers vs Checking or Savings accounts… Also the routing number will be different depending on what state you opened your account in.
Here is the tool to find the correct routing number
Also when I filed, I got an email message with a confirmation code from the tax filing website I used that my return was accepted a few hours later.. however no info showed up on the WMR site until a few days later. I think the WMR site takes a while to update.
I can’t help you with any info on transcripts, as I never ordered any since the process seemed to be moving forward for me.
You should call them. It is possible they sent a letter and you didn’t get it. You may need to ID verify. I filed 2/8 with EIC/ACTC and received my money today.
Please let us know what they say when you call.
Everyone with Wells is getting their refund on the exact DDD date listed on the WMR site.
My DDD was 2/22, got mine today sometime this morning before 7:00AM Pacific Time.

February 21, 2017 at 10:50 pm in reply to: OK DDD 2/23….GOING TO A BANK ACCOUNT…FILING FEE BEING DEDUCTED FROM RETURN.. #4182732jm who did u receive the message from?
February 21, 2017 at 10:39 pm in reply to: Refund Approved , DDD given , Have not filed 2014/2015 #4182719my gueas is if the wmr shows a ddd you should get it. otherwise it should say something else.
u know its fake when he says anyones called or checked wmr more than once gets flagged…
when did u file?
Right now I have two solid orange bars (return received/refund approved) and one light orange bar with diagonal stripes through it(refund sent).
I have a DDD of 2/22 and don’t have anything pending in my account. I use a regular checking account from a bank.
Haven’t mailed for years.
Anyone remember tele-tax back in around the mid 90’s? The IRS would send you a booklet and you’d file your taxes over the phone by entering in the amounts from the different boxes.
Probably just want to see your driver license. I would also bring a utility bill with your current address on it and your ss card as well.
The WMR refund site says “sent to your bank by….” so that means it could be sent well before the DDD date or sent on the DDD date.
It says “sent to my bank by 2/22”. If they send tomorrow (tuesday), I should see it in my bank by the 22nd, if they don’t send until 2/22, then I might not see it until 2/23.
Your return is under review. Did you claim dependents EITC/ACTC?
Just because you want your money back doesn’t mean you need it to survive. Even if the refund was $40 bucks, I would still follow up on it.
I think it comes down to personality type. People who are organized and detail oriented like to keep track of things and cross them off their to do list… and not leave things outstanding.
https://igotmyrefund.com/forums/topic/no-direct-deposit-for-refunds-over-10000/
Sounds like it depends on your bank, but I have never heard of a bank putting any restrictions on ACH transfers… only mobile deposits.
do u have a maximum daily direct deposit limit? or are u getting that confused with a maximum daily MOBILE deposit limit(like scanning checks on your phone or computer).
Never heard of a maximum daily direct deposit ACH limit… but i do know about limits on mobile deposits.
In any event I heard the IRS will send a check if it’s >$10k
sounda like ull be fine if they request additional info. can u call them tuesday and ask them?
i think the 151 can be for multiple different reasons… i just asked about eicand if its your own kids because if its someone elses kids thats more of a reason to flag the return… especially this year with all the delay in eic returns to prevent fraud.
if u have doctor and school records that should be fine.
the irs will probably reuest proof those dependents lived with u half the year.
if u owe the irs or state money they would just deduct it from ur return.
did u claim ur own children for the eic? are u married to their mother and filing jointly? can someone else claim the kids?
my guess it had something to do with verifying the kid(s) lived with you for more than half the year.
if u owe the state they arent going to ask for ur approval to take ur money. theyll just take it.
did u claim any dependents?
ur return is under review. maybe not about back taxes but did u claim eitc ..earned income tax credit?
i filed 2/8 and have a feb22.
do u take the standard deduction or do u itemize?
sounds off. i filed eitc/actc on 2/8 and have a ddd of 2/22.
u should call back talk to someone else, see if u get a different answer.
