Anyone MAIL IN tax return

Mailed 1/23 had one bar 2/7 3 days later bar gone topic 152 gone as well can’t order any transcripts

Do you usually mail your return and if so how long does it usually take for your return to he deposited??? (If you don’t mind me asking)

I didn’t think so either…My mother in law mails her returns every year and she always gets her returns before the end of the fourth week. So that’s why I was do confused when the rep told me that.

@geishadoll I think she said that because 8 weeks is the standard time frame but I don’t think it will take that long….

I had to mail my return this year. It was received and accepted by 2/13. On 2/16 my bars disappeared. Now my return is being processed and they said that a DDD would be given when available. I called the IRS and the agent told me that because I mailed my return I shouldn’t even expect it until around sometime in April…honestly I don’t understand why it would take so long.

Haven’t mailed for years.

Anyone remember tele-tax back in around the mid 90’s? The IRS would send you a booklet and you’d file your taxes over the phone by entering in the amounts from the different boxes.
