My filed 1/6 accepted 1:16
My as of date went from 2/16 to 2/23 to 3/2 but my processing date is 2/23.If it’s anything like the last few years, I predict most of us early filers will receive DDD dates of 2/23 and 2/25 with the next transcript updates.
The last few years I’ve gotten in my DDD the last week of February.

My return was accepted on 1/16 but I was unable to track my return until 1/22. By the time I was able to track it, it had already been processed, and the refund had been issued. The refund was issued on 1/22 and I received it on 1/28.If you create an account on the FTB website you’ll be able to see once your return has been processed and your account has been credited.
Received my DD last night around 10pm w/ Capital One

Yes, I received an email saying it was accepted on 1/16. It took a few days to show up on FTB but once I was able to track it my refund was already issued on 1/22. Still haven’t received yet. Getting refunds via capital one this year so let’s see if it comes early.Filed 1/6

That’s good to know I was accepted on 1/15. I wonder how soon Capital One will release the funds.
I received my DD on 2/26 with Bank of America in 2020,
I was hoping for deposits would start dropping on 2/19 this year but the holiday might block that from happening.

Transcript updatedIf pattern follows from the previous years, I predict that transcripts will update with DDD on 2/14 with DD dates for 2/20. Fingers crossed!
Check on Friday. You may be a “weekly” and transcripts update on Fridays for weekly’s.
I had a tax dept from my 2020 amended taxes, this morning wmr updated with the corrected amount of my refund and stated my refund was approved for a DDD of 2/23
I bank with BOA as well. They don’t typically release early, but I usually get my DD around 11pm the night before.
I wonder if traditional banks will hit early. I know Wells Fargo recently changed their policy and they aren’t holding deposits anymore. I wish BOA would catch on lol
Called on 2/15 for an update – My docs were received, they asked some verification information and approved the refund.
Checked FTB Account yesterday and I could see that my refund was processed and I had a credit for the refund amount on my account, but I could not track it.
Tracked the refund this morning and it finally says it was authorized on 2/16!

Called on 2/14 for an update – Was told I needed to verify my income with a W-2 or check stub and send in a copy of my ID. I faxed over all the copies the same day.Transcripts finally updated this morning 2/23 DDD
@jstarr your transcripts will probably update in the am. I’m thirsty so I’ll be waiting up till 12am to see if I get DDD with tomorrows update.
How long after you guys phoned in did it take for the tracker to show your refund as approved?

This morning I read this:
“The processing date represented by your cycle code informs you when your tax transcript will be updated.”I have a processing date of 2/13 and my as of date is 2/20.
I’ll check my transcripts tomorrow to see if they updated or not. For those of you who have “processsing dates” for 2/13 lmk if yours update tomorrow.

Will people with 2/13 as of dates have earlier DDD than the people with 2/20 as of dates…It’s definitely going slow this year. I called FTB to double check if there were any errors with my return , and they stated it was still processing.

Filed and accepted 1/26, I’m a weekly. My transcripts updated last Friday showing my 766 and 768 (credits).
This Friday nothing. Same info as last Friday. It’s still early in the month so maybe next Friday 2/10 I’ll see a DDD
I filed on 1/26 via the FTB website because turbo tax rejected my state due to a glitch in their software that I spent 3 hours on the phone with them trying to correct. Anywho, anyone ever file directly through ftb?
I filed for my granny using turbo tax a few days after and her refund has already been approved.
Does the ftb site take longer?
@CaliGurl I also bank with BOA , it takes 3-4 business days.
@winnermade I have my fee’s taken out every year. I always receive my full state refund and the fee’s taken out of federal. That has been my experience with Turbo Tax.
How do you know if you’ve been accepted into the test batch?

Credits applied to my account (codes 766 and 768) but no DDD (846 code)Looks like everyone who filed before the 1st have 2/16 DDD from what I’ve been reading so I’m thinking we’re looking at a 2/23 DDD

Filled with TT received my Fed DD on 3/03. I use Wells Fargo for my refund this year so it’s safe to say I probably won’t receive my payment until weds 3/17

@mlcole you won’t find your information on SBTPG if you used HNR. You may only be able to track your refund through WMR or viewing your transcripts.
@mlcole if you had fees taken out of your refund BDTPG is the bank that gets your refund, pays turbo tax, then deposits the remainder of your refund. You can check your status on sbtpg.com
Finally got my green circle even though my return is 1K less than I expected it to be due to an accounting error made by Turbo Tax. If they sent the funds today I assume I’ll have it by Thursday (2 business days).
Finally updated on SBTPG. Keep checking y’all. I had no updates this morning, then I randomly checked again this evening.

Stop being able to track my refund so I called to check my status. Got a DDD of 3/8 from the rep that reviewed my return.
After days of not being about to track my refund through FTB it finally updated today, deposit send on 2/22
This happened to me, so I called. Turns out there was a freeze on my refund due to a math error made by turbo tax on my return.
Went from processing to “ We are unable to provide your refund status online using the information you provided. ”
I hope this means I’ll be updated to a DD soon.
Can anyone provide a number to get through to FTB?

CA Chime usually Chimes in between 3/4am. Hoping Turbo Tax follows through.

My first and last year using CHIME and TURBO TAX. Going back using my WF account next year. Trying to get my refund a few days early wasn’t worth the hassle that I’ve had to deal with between TT, SBTPG and CHIME.
I called Turbo Tax to get some info and the rep said it could take 1-2 days before SBTPG pays out.
Called SBTPG just to confirm that they even sent the refund. The automated system says they haven’t even received my refund but the website shows it received, fees paid and payment sent. I’ve been holding for 56 minutes for someone to come to the phone smh.
Update: So I spoke with Chime they said if they have posted it then they haven’t received it. They said they post deposits all day long 24 hours a day except on weekends. They said as soon as they receive the deposit the will post it. Looks like the delay is on the SBTPG end.
IRS has sent refund, SBTPG has taken fees and sent refund. Still nothing on my CHIME account with DDD 2/26 as of 8:30 PST. Going to give them a call and get some generic response I’m sure.
I called Chime to check the status of my deposit since SBTPG has already sent it. I spoke with an agent who said that it could still be processing and could post at any moment. However she could not see IF the payment was processing. Would have been nice to have it early but hey, I’ve waited this long what’s one more day?
SBTPG updated. Received funds and deducted fees. Has not hit my Chime Card yet as of 4am CA.
