After our final W arrived finally today we filed this morning at 11.50am CT, TT email stated at 11.56am that the federal return was accepted.
That was fast so I hope that the rest will be done fast too…though it was really the longest we ever had to wait for the W2s.

I was told by the IRS they will start processing the 8863 returns on the 11th. That 8863 form persons are in holding at the processing point till them. We will see but maybe it wont be like last year I had to wait several months because of a faulty flagging in the flag software.

Guess I found the right club filed on the 7th accepted the 23rd too… keep getting the generic up to 21 days when I call and no info for me on the WMR site although this morning it did say the up to 21 days on the site.

Mine was also accepted on the 26th, but when I check the status (by phone or online) it gives me the 21 day processing message. Has anyone else that was accepted on the 26th gotten a DD date?

I filed at 8:30 this morning and was accepted by 8:45. Hopefully I’ll get my refund on time this year. Last year mine didn’t come until June. It was a bad year.

I swore I wouldn’t buy into the transcript theory but finally bit and tried it. I got a message saying it would arrive in 5-10 days (or something like that). Hopefully this means something. I am one who doesn’t desperately need my refund which is about half of what I normally get but I have been on comp since August therefore my earned income sucks. I just need retail therapy and doubt my doctor can prescribe it.

WIll post if I get a date, I checked WMR earlier, I got what everyone else seems to be getting. A lovely message asking if I had entered everything right. It isn’t because I’ve checked to many times, that was the second time in three day. It would seem I’d be simple, I have the same job, same kid, same bank, same address. Hell..I have the same boyfriend, dog and car which is probably about as relevant as what we think is pertinent.

well at least i did my state and its already accepted so the form 8863 does not effect your state thank god.My sons state(VT) got accepted at 3:55pm friday the 25th and he received direct deposit already on the 29th thats what i calllll fast lol..so at least i can look forward to my state to hold me over!!!

I filed with local lady. She put it through on the 29th about 9pm said she got acceptance ealry on 30th. WMR website says processing. With the bar. I’m in nj will keep you guys posted. But from the looks of it, we probably see something Monday or Tuesday. Tomorrow dd prob be for the 28 and 29thers. We shall see.

The WMR site said my return was “processing” yesterday Called the tax line and it said “refund was received and processing” . Today the WMR site says my return is “processing” but I don’t have the status bar. I called the IRS hotline and it says ” return is still being processed refund date will be issued when it becomes available”..what gives?

Filed 1/30, accepted 1/30. Since yesterday, have the status bar and the generic “processing your return with 21 day” message. Hopeful that’ll change soon. Was one of the ones who filed early last year and had my return hung up for days while they tweaked their system. State return also filed 1/30, accepted 1/30, processing. But that’s CA and usually don’t see any movement there until they actually send the $$. Good luck, everyone.

I filed with TT on 1/26 with a form 8863 and it just saying “pending” so I dont think its even been sent to the IRS at this point…but I guess pending is better than rejected so I guess I will take it. I just hope they end up fixing this issue sooner than mid- February!

Well… I’m not sure when I was accepted I woke up to a email at 1:38am from HRB saying my return was accepted. I filed on the 29th, So i’m assuming it would be considered 1/30 However I checked WMR and it says received and I should receive it in 21 day. I hope I get a DD Tomorrow. :-) Keeping hOpe alive.

No change as of yet. I tried ordering transcripts online with my husband’s ssn and it says wrong info (he’s the primary), try with mine and it goes through but no 2012. Called the new transcript hotline and no 2012 for mine nor his.
Side note: I’m JennC27 when I am on my computer. Using my phone right now, so I’m not logged in. I think next year, I am going to give my info to someone, tell them to file for me and I absolutely do not want any kind of update on the status. I will ban myself from my computer and phone until I get my refund in my account.

mine were accepted 1/24 1:30pm est and mine still says processing, if you try to many times on the WMR it will lock u out and say you entered the wrong info. I would check once in the morning and once at night. Seems like everyones DD dates are random as some ppl from 1/26 have a DD but then others like me from 1/24 don’t. It’s basically a waiting game with thr irs who knows when they will be done!!

Hello All: It looks like the IRS is moving rather swiftly this year. I filed 1/30 at around noon and was accepted around 5:00 pm the same day. WMR status bar says “return received”…
I think we may get deposits in about 7 days! *fingers crossed for all of us*

UTAH Mine are MIA too. I was accepted about the same time as you. IRS didn’t give me any information when I call after it was saying it could not locate or I input wrong information (this was after it was already accepted), then later yesterday evening it was back up and working still at the processing level. This morning it was still processing and I checked mine after reading your statement and it is lost again. Let’s just hope that next time it work it has a DD.

I did read an article today on how they are delaying some to make sure there is no identity theft and it should only delay those that they take an extra close look at by a day or two. This would make sense on mine anyhow. This year I get to claim my daughter and grand kids (who she claimed and filed alone last year). Then one of my grandkids was just born this year (and he is disabled).. so I think I may have meet the “red flag” requirements to cause an extra eyeball on my return. Not sure what your situation is, but from what I hear and see the ones that are going through pretty quick don’t are single 1040EZ filers that have filed in the past and have not other dependents, no EIC, etc. So they are very simple returns.

Serena, the IRS was suppose to start processing ON the 17th, so people filed earlier than that. Then the IRS was delayed and gave 30th date. I think they pushed the date out to give them so screw up room. Anyhow, they started accepting some returns on the 23, a week earlier than what they said they would.

I filed 1/15 with TT and got accepted 1/25. I checked WMR yesterday morning and it said 2/1 my refund was going to the bank. Then checked again in the afternoon and it said it couldn’t find my information. I was bummed. I just checked again today and it’s showing my refund going to the bank on 2/1 and says it should be in my account by 2/6. I not gonna check again today because I don’t want to jinx it. And they only update once a day anyway.

Same here, Filed 1/29 and was accepted 1/30 WMR says the generic processing your return with 21 day message for me also. I have the status bar at the top. Just hoping it doesn’t take the full 21 days, but in past years it was always faster than the quoted time I was given, hopefully it’s the same case this year. Has anyone had better luck today? I’m really starting to panic! I filed 1/10 Married/joint with four children and no education form, accepted 1/24 11:53pm. I was in process all day yesterday. Today WMR tells me I’m putting in wrong info, 800# says processing, and IRS representative said “we just started processing yesterday, check WMR for up to date information.” I can’t order transcripts either.

I filed yesterday and was accepted a few hours later. No DD yet, have the IRS processing bar. Was told by TT it could take up to a week for my refund to be approved by the IRS and once it is I would have a DD date.

Oh No Cupcake, that happened to me last year. I was a lucky one to go through the system test run and the unlucky one to still be in the system when it crashed. It took 2 months before I got my refund. Was that recent blog on TurboTax (hoping it was from last year).

Mine still didn’t update either and my daughter who filed on 1/19 still hasn’t even been accepted yet.
