I have us bank, and this is the first year having them, and having my refund direct deposited to them.
My paycheck are usually there the day they send them to the bank. So idk if that has any construct on whether it will be there in the morning or not.

I filed my wife’s MO return on 1/24. It was accepted on 1/24. She has a DDD of 1/28. I filed mine on 1/25 and it was accepted on 1/25. I’m not holding my breath that mine will be that fast, but you never know.

I filled on the 19th and i got an email from h&r block the next day saying i was approved and accepted. But when i goto the irs site it says they dont have any information about my refund and i must wait 24 hours after i get an approval email to check the status. But i did get an approval email. Do you have any helpful information?

@Winnie – According to the IRS, updates occur m-f (Sometimes Saturday, and Sundays as well). There are some websites that state otherwise, but as far as deposits go, it depends on your bank as to when funds are deposited, and available.

I received an email from Netspend saying Good news! Your refund is here. Did anyone receive this and when should I expect it.

I have a DDD for 1/29, EVERY year my funds are available on the day of the deposit.

However, there’s some prepaid cards that will post the funds as soon as its sent over (no pending) such as Netspend and RuchCard.

Amex Serve also post the day deposit’s made so if its deposited 1/29 it’ll be available on 1/29 (they release fund according to the date provided on the check/deposit).

Some banks such as Wells Fargo, BOA, Chase and Credit Unions will wait until the payment clear before posting it to your account which can take anywhere from 3-7 business days depending on your bank and history with them.

It really depend on your banking institution. Sorry so much info not sure who your working with so I provided as much info as possible.

I wasn’t aware that the DL verification was a delay. I filed on TT on the 19th and I’m still on 1 bar. I swear, this is like waiting on the Dominos Pizza Tracker. LMAO

All last week I was not able to order any transcripts and in the past 24 hours it wasn’t let me log in. And finally this morning it allowed me to order my 2015 account transcript.

So does that mean everything is going in right direction and I should be getting a DDD soon? But I am not able to order my return transcript yet.

Any light on this situation would be helpful!!

I filed through Turbo Tax on 1/14 and was accepted the same day. I am still at one bar (I understand others are at one bar too) but as I’m looking through these forums I am wondering if I did the health care wrong on my refund. I would appreciate any help…..

I live in NYS, I have insurance (high deductible plan) through my employer and I also qualified for Medicaid as a secondary insurance. My children have Child Health Plus which I pay a premium for each month.

Was there a special form I was supposed to fill out for the Medicaid and Child Health Plus? Turbo Tax said I was also set since I had insurance through my employer. I’m very confused about this health care requirement. Can anybody advise? Will this affect my return?

Pretty sure the dl verification doesn’t matter I saw where someone used taxhawk and got their DDD today and tax hawk doesn’t even ask for a DL # we will never get it some stuff each year!

I received a email from tt saying thank u for filing with them, I’m thinkin this means we are approved an should see a update tomorrow an get our money Friday 29th as well so don’t give up guys, cuz just yesterday ppl were on here sayin they received that email an I refreshed all day an night to see if I got one from tt but didn’t until few hours ago, an then they got their ddd date, also I checked that website tpg few days ago it said my info was invalid an I checked after receiving the email from tt an got my ddd on there 2/2/16, that basically means I’ll have my refund on or before that date, so it’s coming all us early filers are goin to get ours Friday I have faith??

@desiree I’m not sure what my tax consultant was talking about then lol she’s a manager at H&R block and she does my taxes every year. My taxes always come in on tue or Fri. Never in between. But mine were filed 1/8 and were accepted 1/11. No updates at all. Says the latest the 1st. But starting 1/19 that makes 2q days 2/8. I always recieve my refund within 7-10 days of acceptance. Hoping for friday!

So, I got the TT thank you email before noon today and i was accepted the 12th.
Yesterday, people that received the thank you email were accepted on the 11th.

Almost everyone that was accepted the 11th has a DDD for 1/29.
I am assuming people that got the email and accepted the 12th will get an update on WMR tonight, and have a DDD for 2/1 making it 21 days since i’ve filed.

I have had it take exactly 21 days from file date until i had my money before, and i have gotten my deposit on other days besides friday.

@Kathryn – I believe it will still come the 29th if it happens within the next 24 hours. Some banks will deposit on Saturdays/Sundays with proper notification from the sender.

Filed and accepted on 1/21. WMR showed 1 bar with return received. Today 1/27/16 I checked and my status bar is gone and it now states YOUR TAX RETURN IS BEING PROCESSED. A REFUND DATE WILL BE PROVIDED WHEN AVAILABLE.

So I started researching and I ran into forums stating it could POSSIBLY mean I am being reviewed. So I called IRS and without the lady looking up my info she stated at this point it just means it is being processed and for me not to worry until after day 21.

I really hope that is the case. If this has happened to anyone else and you get a DDD please let me know. THANKS :)

I filed my taxes on 1/13 and the next day got an email saying they were accepted on the 14th and that theyre being processed. Been waiting and kinda getting impatient. I didnt file with TT tho I filed with TaxAct, not sure is that matters or not.

@Jenny – I don’t believe it does, based on the randomness (to us, as it may seem) of the DDD’s people are having versus the date they filed. I believe it’s done by the date (range of dates) filed, and ssn.

Keep in mind, there are 62 million (est) that e-file. And with the current shortage of employees + trying to enhance their security measures, well, it’s not as easy as it looks on their end. Hope that helps a little.

To clarify something I read on here was wrong. The irs deposits Monday through Friday. Last year I got my deposit on a Wednesday and my mom got hers Thursday. They do not only deposit on Tuesdays and Fridays.

So I have some news that may put some of you at ease. I filed my return on the 18th, it was accepted on the 20th. Feeling like many of you, I’m wondering why my WMR status is still at one bar. So I did a Google search and found this website below. Read what they wrote:

I am in the same boat as all of you. Filed 1-11, accepted 1-14, and no DD and no transcripts. I called IRS today and made up something about a letter I received and wanted to make sure everything was okay. A very nice guy checked over my taxes, told me everything was fine, and that it was currently being processed and I should see some movement very soon. He didnt sound like he was blowing me off, he actually really looked into my taxes. He also informed me that the IRS itself didn’t actually accept or look into anyones return until they officially opened and then everyone was thrown into the same pot.

@Moises – No one is for certain, as you may get your DD before you are able to get transcripts, and vice versa. But one good thing to know is, if you can, you certainly are a step closer! Congrats!

My return was accepted on the 12th of Jan, on the IRS website I have only one bar. I used HR Block as I have been for the past five years to prepare my own return. HR Block states my expected date is 2/2/2016. I was hoping to get it on the 29th since I filed early LOL….shrugs… Its better late than NEVER…Keep Hope alive and God Bless. Perhaps one should use some of that money to invest in something you NEED of course things you want and something you may NEED for the future.

@Shawna – I don’t think so. The one I got today says, “Thanks for choosing turbo tax” in the subject line, with a statement in the body saying “Congratulations on filing your 2015 taxes!”

Below that line of text in the body is a graphic that says, “Thanks for choosing turbo tax to get your biggest refund.”

Hope that helps clear up what some of us may have gotten starting yesterday it seems.

I was also in the same boat as you all. This whole week I have been able to log in under an old address. But not able to order 2015 transcripts. Around yesterday afternoon or so It started saying my info was wrong and I tried old and new address.

Until this morning I took out the APT number out of my address. And behold I was able to log in. I went to account transcripts and I was able to order them.

I filed on the 9th and accepted on the 11th. No DDD yet :(

So if I was able to order my account transcript does that mean something good is working?

I am not able to order my return transcript yet.
