Same here Taxact filed. Accepted on 1/13… No movement at all. Transcripts are still not available NOTHING. We should have been among the first batch but I am not getting my hopes up.. Its looking more like next week for us it seems :(. It just scares me because I have NEVER waited this long with no update at least. And I always file early so idk what the issue could be..

My point was that I usually get back the same amount. Or pretty close to it. Maybe some of you that are expecting more this year than previous years are being looked into a little more. I’m not saying your getting audited but they are probably reviewing your return a little deeper than usual. Either way you should still get something by friday at the latest. I know last night a gentlemen had posted a phone number to call to see if your returns had been offset. I personally do not remember the number but you can call and see if maybe that’s why it’s being delayed. Offset is if you owe some form of government back child support and so forth and I know if you do it can take a lonnnnnngggg time.

While depending on when you file (e.x.1/11/16) recieved and accepted. Now let’s say your friend Bob filed on 1/23/16 recieved& accepted and got Approved 1/27/16 for a DDD of 1/29/16??? Well going back to what I mentioned earlier about the cycle chart, each date frame as an acceptance and cut off date for that batch. So giving that Bob filed 1/23/16 approved 1/27/16 and you filed 1/11/16 it is because the IRS accept and approves those quicker who file closer too the cut off date.1/29/16 is the cut up for early filers. Now if Bob have an offset it could prolong until next follwing DDD’s. But WMR do update nightly meaning Wednesday night into Thursday morning around 5am-6ish. It never fails filed in
2014: 2/19 accepted–3/1 approved 3/5 DD
2015 1/21 accepted –1/31 approved 2/4 DD
2016: 1/19 –accepted Hopefully refund approved on 1/29 for a 2/2 DDD. So everyone that haven’t gotten a DDD should be expecting them these week. Also its not a bad thing too file early 1 being is that once your approved you dont have too wait the extra 4 days after getting your DDD. Too me early filers might wait more days but also get approved 2 days pior to getting their DDD (e.x) brittany “NOT” me above^^^^ filed 1/14/16 accepted 1/19/6 approved 1/27/16 with a DDD of 1/29/16. Only two day waiting period. Hope this helps!!!

I live in NY and was aware I had an offset with them. My state refund was more then enough to cover I was just noticed they are taking the money from my federal and my state and there is nothing I can do but in about 90 days I can request the extra money be refunded back to me.. Err

I used netspend and loved it last year. but this year did the same thing but just wanted a new card..I have still not got an email from them regarding them sending me a card like they did last year, This has me slightly worried.

I filed and was approved on the 12th, my WMR updated to two bars when I checked today and I just received my TT email. If I didn’t pay any fee for TT does that mean I won’t have any reason to check SBTPG?

Also if no fee, is there any reason to believe that would translate to a quicker actual deposit? Maybe others are in a similar boat and are curious.

I have seen multiple post and comments stating that if you had an education credit your refund would be delayed or reviewed or you’d be audited.

THIS IS NOT TRUE.
That rude, uninformed rumor is from a notice that went out in 2013….I repeat 2013, about refunds with education credits being delayed because the IRS didn’t have the forms in the system until May.

IT’S FROM 2013!!!! So if anyone tries to convince you otherwise shut them down! Either they are misinformed or just being TROLLS!

I didn’t get the TT email but have two bars and a DDD for the 29th. Nothing new at SBBT. I filed the 13th and was accepted the next day. My daughter filed with Freetax and has lost her one bar. We filed within an hour of each other. If the SS# theory was right we’d both be the same as we our numbers are both under 900.

Just out of curiosity is anyone that’d still waiting for a federal refund getting over 5 grand back? You don’t have to answer but I know I am 1 of a few who was approved that is getting over 5 grand back. Everyone else I know that was approved was under 2500… maybe that has something to do with it. That’s just my opinion. I did not read it anywhere or see it anywhere.

I too have recieved the email from tt. But that is it. I filed the 7th and accepted the 11th. Still one bar on wmr, and turbo tax still just says accepted and will recieve refund between 19th and 8th. The sbbt says by the 1st. So fingers still crossed that im n the few that will recieve it by this weekend.

Those that have recieved the approval dates…. can yall please put the times, like if you woke up like that or if it just changed. Just curious so that those that havent been approved in the morning can have a little hope that it might happen in the eveninh time lol.

A lo of people that were accepted 1/11 received the TT email yesterday, and a DDD today.

This is only a guess, but i think the majority of people that were accepted 1/11 and got the email from TT today, will get a DDD tomorrow, and have their money on 2/1.

There is always hope and i filed with HR Block as well , accepted 01/20/16. I guess the one thing to be thankful for is that no problems have been reported at this point and eventually it will release for a DDD .

someone had posted a link that had the cycle dates in it, and when i looked, i am in cycle 602 (as is anyone else that was accepted the week of 1/11), and it says that is a dead cycle. what does that mean? i filed 1/7, accepted 1/11, 1 bar on WMR, SBBT says DDD of 2/1 (but i think that is the generic date based on when i was accepted), refund chart says 1/29 and i cannot order transcripts.

If I remember right. Last year I got my update on a Monday and got my refund on a Wednesday. I hope it follows the same this year. My cycle date usually ends in 02.

Hi Everyone!! Giving my update. Filed 1/11 with Turbo Tax (6 yrs strong using them) Accepted 1/12, been at 1 bar on WMR since that date. I tried ordering transcripts for them past 2 days and I had to use my old address (moved middle of last year). Last night I tried again and my old address was invalid, so that means it was updated! Unfortunately I can not figure out the format to type my new address in regarding where to put my apartment #. Anywho, I had not received the infamous “Thank You” email from TT. Well about 4 hours ago I received that email!! WMR should update tonight and my DDD should hopefully be 1/29!!! Hang in there early filers, I have seen a great deal of postings that people have had updates to 2nd bar and DDD’s!! Happy refund time and Good Luck Everyone!!!!

So this is from past experience of receiving my tax funds. 2016 I was approved on a Tuesday 2015 on a Friday 2014 on a Monday 2013 on a Tuesday and 2012 on a thursday. There does not seem to be a pattern on when your approved.

That’s not entirely true, most people who use TT can go to http://www.sbtpg.com and check the status of their refund, but it only works if you opted to have fees taken out ofyour federal refund.
