That just happens sometimes. The IRS will do another round of updates this week and then the following week and so on. You have the most important info right now. That is your as of date. The IRS is pretty good at hitting that mark. I had the same thing with my account showing me an as of date of the 15th. Then they updated the system now I have all 4 transcripts with all my information.
The Maryland State Comptrollers Office will not start ANY Tax Returns until the morning of February 6,2024.
Due to the system upgrades that were scheduled to be completed by February 6 th.
So if the state does there job and there are no issues we should start seeing refunds go out before FridaySomehlp9878If you don’t get it within an hour most likely you were not approved (check spam).
SumbeachWelcome Everyone, I am a fellow 2/2 Filer *accepted same day!!! Hope some of us see movement tomorrow.
My boyfriend & I filed the same day, but he didn’t claim EIC and I did, so we are racing to the finish line!
Let the games begin, 😂🤣 The waiting game 😜SumbeachAccepted means received. It used to be Accepted — Approved — Sent
That’s where the wording comes fromStaceyFiled 2/2, still says pending, filed with TT and child credit.
Somehlp9878Best advice is to wait until after Feb 15th when path is lifted. Even though it doesn’t show they have your transcript they do once it is accepted.
Spoke to IRS accounts management today. They will not look at my account. They state I have to wait 21 days from 1/29, even though I was accepted 1/22. After 21 days, I need to call back. I haven’t received any letters. There are no electronic letters in my IRS account. Transcripts are blank as if I haven’t filed. I have heard of a 9-week wait after this process from forums of previous years. This is not fair when all other gov agencies I deal with will help over the phone.
I’m a PATHer, I filed 1/21/24. State sent me a notification my return was accepted, but not federal. It shows on WMR and HRB it was filed and accepted.
Transcripts show N/A for a return filed. But on the “account transcript” tab, it shows an as of date for Feb 24th, 2024. No cycle codes. No nothing. All amounts are 0.
What does this mean?
Lolojuju9I Love a good conspiracy, but I’m in the Turbo tax c***Storm tyou got the bottom. 2 Tran scripts with non dancing on them and I filed very early. I noticed the pattern days ago I just didn’t want to admit it was just hope it’s not bad
TT Filed 1/24
Accepted 1/24
Nothing special just plain tax filing.
Bottom two transcripts with no real info on them.Impatiently waitingI received this on the app today. “We received your return and sent you a letter requesting more information. Please respond by following the instructions in the letter. If you don’t respond, your refund amount could be changed. It may take 2-3 weeks for you to receive the letter.”
I used a tax preparer what does this mean
Momx3All 4 transcripts are showing 2023 and I have codes 766 and 768 with amounts with minus beside them but no 846 and my wage and income transcripts say no record of return filed what does that mean
patrickI meant 2/5
DON@Bella do yiu have a NHB or credit union or traditional bank?
PatrickThey advertise advance within 4 minutes of acceptance. Still nothing yet. Anyone else delayed?
@ Busterbrown
I am aware it’s estimate and that’s great they released PATH I wasn’t aware.
My WMR bar never updated in past years and the TT bar I never had before so maybe an update to the site.
Right now my WMR is not updated
Transcripts N/A at this time@jyoung200704
I got my refund at 12:30 this afternoon. You should hopefully have yours soon too!
brittanyhow did you get ahold of anyone? I’ve tried with no luck.
TaxinvaderAs of date changed from 2/19 to 2/26 today
GreenlineGot this too today on my IRS site notifications, nothing in WMR yet about it. Filed/Accepted 1/19, no credits, have an IP Pin. Really hoping this is a glitch.
Ms. WhiteYeah I remember the yellow bars too. Mine is showing blue bars as well.
I should clarify, actually it says ‘RETURN received’ …. ‘REFUND approved’ …. ‘REFUND sent.’
I’m pretty sure in years past the WMR page had an orange progress bar and the terms ‘received,’ … ‘accepted,’ ….. ‘sent’ -I THINK (not 100% certain).
But this year my WMR bar graphic is blue and has the terms ‘received’ ….. ‘approved’ ….. ‘sent’.
So now when I’m reading people’s posts here and they’re talking about ‘accepted’ I’m not sure what that means anymore! Does everyone else see ‘approved’ this year but just using the word ‘accepted’ out of old habit?Derek WYes. If you owe more then your return. They will take every penny of it.
WarcloentThe information won’t populate until they are physically working on your return.
If the account transcript started showing 2023 then more than likely that means your return is going through the automated checks.
Same – filed 2/2 TT, accepted within 15 minutes!
CCFiled with TT 2/2 and it was just accepted today.
MommaOf5I owe the IRS from a mistake I made on my taxes years ago. Just found out about it last month and set up a payment plan. Will they still take my taxes even though I have an active payment plan? Just curious if anyone else has gone through this. Thanks
*filed married but jointly*
*4 dependents*@Scotty, can you post the reference on when the 21 days start. All I have found is that it starts when it is accepted. i cannot find an exception for being accepted before the official opening date.
From Turbo Tax:
Once your return is accepted, you are on the IRS’ refund timetable.
The IRS typically issues refunds in less than 21 days after your e-filed return is accepted. The first thing the cycle code tells you is whether you were placed into a daily or weekly batch cycle. Here’s where code cracking comes into play. If your cycle code ends in 01, 02, 03, or 04, you’ve been placed in a daily batch cycle. If your cycle code ends in 05, you’ve been placed in a weekly batch cycle.
If you’re in a daily batch cycle, you can expect to see transcript updates on Tuesdays and updates to your Where’s My Refund status on Wednesdays. If you’re in a weekly batch cycle, you can expect to see transcript updates on Fridays and updates to your Where’s My Refund status on Saturdays.
If you have transaction code 846 on your transcript + your cycle code ends in: You’ll likely receive a direct deposit refund on the next:
01 Monday
02 Tuesday
03 Wednesday
04 Thursday
05 FridayTraci@Busterbrown
Same for me, my DDD was 22nd, got it on the 17th. Files with Jackson HewittSamfromMAYa mine is still saying received with the amount in green and processing when I track it…I’m thinking it’ll update by tomorrow with DDD and have it Wed…at least that’s what I’m hoping lol 😂
naughtyrocketsI’m not on PATH and my transcripts are doing the same thing. I’m really hoping for an update tomorrow. This is causing me anxiety. I’ve never had issues before. It’s always been a smooth process and sadly I counted on the money before the return was approved. Bad move.
Bella527I WAS IN THE TEST BATCF
FILED 1/6 ACCEPTED 1/19
TRANSCRIPTS UPDATED 2/2 IN THE AFTERNOON
CODE 846 DDD 2/7/2024
WMR UPDATED 2/3 TO SECOND BAR
FILED WITH HRB NO CTC , ACTC OR EIC
RCVD MY DEPOSIT FROM HRB TODAY.
VERY DAST. GOOD LUCK ALLBella527UPDATE.
DD JUST HIT TODAY. GOOD LUCK ALLJust waitingMines pending in my acct!
I filed with TT, accepted the 24th. No Path. Mine was 2/19, it changed last week to 2/26. I don’t think it has anything to do with who you filed with, or whether you’re path or not.
BusterbrownMine was ddd 2/22 last year, I get my refund faster (early) with my prepaid card/bank. I received my refund 2/17. I paid TT fees up front (not out of my refund).
NoelleWhen was the earliest path refunds were released last year? I can’t get into to check my transcript this year but I’m usually always a weekly with updates on Fridays. But filed 01/26 and accepted on the 29th.
JustStephWell snap, I think it’s just ridiculously broken. Lol
I filed on Jan 15th, accepted Jan 19th. I thought maybe I had been lucky and got into the test batch. But nothing. It’s so weird cause my state was refunded on feb 1st.
AndyYes, I have the 152 message and it also states the “delayed” message, never had this issue before.
ScottyJust a fyi your 21 days doesn’t start until the irs officially starts processing returns which was the 29th of January doesn’t matter if you were accepted earlier than that which is why you have a as of date of 2/19 because that would be the 21 day mark they should have it processed by and if not it will update with a later as of date.
ScottyI used freetaxusa and I have the same thing going on like a another person already stated I don’t think it’s just a turbo tax specific situation i was accepted on the 19th also and the as of date means nothing the 19th is just the 21 day mark from when the irs officially started processing returns on the 29th
JamesDoesn’t seem to be a TT specific issue/concern – I used freetaxusa & have the same. I think it’s just a weird PATH thing.
Anyone had any movement? I’ve had the balance owe in green. My balance now is 0. Refund status says my refund was adjusted on 1/31 according to the letter in myDorway. When should I expect a refund date. No movement as of yet.
AdamReturn done on MA Tax Connect 2/1. 2/2 said processing with refund amount in green. Today says received with amount in green. If I check where’s my refund says processing
MA payerStatus on MTC
Received was received on 1/31/24
and balance in green (XXX)waiting on DDD
MA payerStatus on MTC
Received was received on 1/29/24
and balance in green (XXX)waiting on DDD
LilMissLuvlyI’m hoping that since their already a week behind, they start doing massive approvals and not taking there precious time like they have been for the last couple years. What happened to the days we would be accepted opening day on a Monday and have our money by Friday that same week
Transcripts won’t be updating for PATH’ers until 2/16. Doesn’t do any good to look at transcripts before then if you are a PATH Act filer.
This is info from an article on this website:
“On 2/16 transcripts will update with Refund Issued TC 846. If it doesn’t you may see other transaction codes. On 2/17 the WMR should update when to expect your deposit.
The earliest direct deposit will be on 2/16 for those people with No Hold Banks (NHB).”Ms. WhiteI have my as of date February 19th. Transcripts showing no record of return filed but I used HR block.

JustStephSo, I have seen a pattern of a bunch of folks who used turbotax to file. We are all showing 2 bottom transcripts which show, but information is blank except for a as of date Feb 19th. 2024.
Now I wonder if something is happening. And this is probably my ADHD brain trying to make sense of something and find a resolution to this.
So, anyone else seeing this?
Are you a turbotax user?
Raise your hand if you have the as of date Feb 19th?NicoleIt says no return filed whenever the irs hasn’t worked on your return yet. Once they do it will update.
BugWhat does wmr say. If irs page claims they got I wouldn’t worry about transcripts
buckeyeinflai was accepted 1/18 and same deal, nothing on transcripts and 1 bar wmr. ugh
buckeyeinflasame. accepted 1/18, no extra stuff. 1 bar wmr and N/a on transcripts still. wtf
sistermoonTo Cathy –That is an incredible turnaround time for Wisconsin compared to last year! You’re giving me HOPE! Yay! I want my taxes to be just as speedy as yours! I filed WI along with my Federal, which has to wait for the PATH timing to clear. Hopefully, one doesn’t impact the other. We’ll see if I get lucky like Cathy!

KaliYeah still waiting. Got accepted 1/25, my mom was 1/29. Hopefully this week they get the ball rolling.
What’s up with this? I filed Jan 21st and have EIC and ACTC but my transcripts show no return filed and HRB shows it’s been filed and accepted.
BugI was accepted 1/23 have had no movement. Nothing bad literally hasn’t done anything but been accepted. No eic or anything that would make it path.
ARHSame – filed 1/18, accepted 1/19. Used Turbo Tax. I am a weekly and have no extra things like EITC. No update and it looks like I will push past 21 days. Have always been deposited around 2/7.
DONSame! Let’s hope they hit soon
@Travishon. A system glitch makes more sense than the error I’m getting. Agent stated they mailed a letter, I never got it. I guess I need a control # off it. Now what?
I am in the same situation. Filed and accepted 1/19. As of date keeps moving. Went to 1/26 on Friday. Not sure why.
CinnamonWait, what? I don’t think I’ve ever heard that one… are you saying WMR says this? “Delayed beyond normal timeframe?”
The PATH message says so right on it. “According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH), the IRS cannot issue refunds before February 15th…”
ThomasFiled 1/18 through TT. Accepted 1/19. Only Wage & Income and Account transcripts populated, but showing no record of return filed. I have no EIC or ACTC. I’m a weekly update. Only thing that updated on 2/2 was my as of date changed from 2/12 to 2/19. That means my next update won’t be until 2/9, which is day 21. What is the likelihood of my return being fully processed and an 846 code by then? Either way, my refund is surely going to be beyond 21 days. I’ve never had any kind of delays in the past, and usually get my return within 14-18 days. Based on prior years, I was expecting it on 2/7.
SumbeachFiled 2/2 and accepted 25 min later EIC and CTC, all 4 say N/A for now.
My boyfriend filed and was accepted 2/2 without EIC & CTC, he hasn’t checked his transcripts yet bc he said and I quote “oh my God babe it’s easy too soon why would you even be checking that stuff now. ” My exact reply was 🙄🙄 but lots more attitude 😂🤣BearcubSimple return no EIC or CTC no path
Filed 1/31 accepted 2/1
WMR 1 bar topic 152
Transcript Top 2 N/A
Bottom 2 2023
Im weekly cycle 05 so not expecting transcript update till at least 2/8 or 2/9
Still shows no return filed as of 6:30pmVelvetzeaIt will say that until all 4 boxes show 2023. Have 1 or 2 shows it’s been received and is processing even if it states no return filed. That will change once it’s completed.
Patrat38My est is Feb 13through TurboTax
