I’m still holding on to the little bit of hope right now, I have 5 more weeks of Waiting for processing and I need that money yesterday 😞
You never know what people are going through, an inch of kindness goes a long way. Especially during this crisis
I definitely understand, the timing of everything right now is gonna break us, that tax money would save our lives right now but it’s out of our control 😞praying for all of us
Apply for unemployment now, don’t wait. I’m praying for you as there’s nothing we can do 😞
Filed 2/1, received letter on 3/4 to fax the 8962/1095-a faxed next day. Still no update. I understand I have to wait 8 weeks but jeez you would think with this crisis they would let us get our damn money
@jen
Well let’s hope it’s 6 and not 8 lol.I’ve lost hope as well. Filed 2/1, didn’t get a letter until 3/3 saying to fax in forms 8962/1095-a because TurboTax didn’t ask or guide us to fill out information about medical insurance. I called them today to see if this crisis will delay processing time and they don’t know, but the rep was able to tell me that they have received my fax 3/4 and that they’re working on it. He also asked me To not call back until 8 weeks timeframe is up. 2020 is gonna be a year to remember smh
March 19, 2020 at 12:20 am in reply to: If there’s a government shutdown IRS will be closed too? #4395456At this point I’m just fed up, with IRS, TurboTax, and this damn virus
March 18, 2020 at 11:19 am in reply to: If there’s a government shutdown IRS will be closed too? #4395176Will be contacting them. This is ridiculous
I faxed mine on the 3/4 so I’ll track how long it took to get any update and post it here
Hey guys got my letter on March 5th and my fax number was the 1-855-892-7588. If you haven’t received a letter yet just call IRS and ask them to give you the fax number off of your letter and they will also guide you on what needs to be put on cover letter and forms. Every page you fax in needs to have your ssi and name on it (written)
Yep me too, if I don’t have the refund by 3/30 then they will auto debit from my account. My fees are $130 I did the self employed version. I feel like they should wait until after the last day to file taxes April 15th
I sent it to both hopefully that doesn’t mess anything up. They said the letter was mailed out last week so maybe I’ll get it this week. Shouldn’t take that long right?
Ok thank you!! But I’m just confused as to why 2 different IRS reps gave me different numbers if they were reading it off the letter
@jc
Well let’s hope that’s all, I just faxed over the documents 15 min ago. I just hope they accept it because I haven’t even received my letter yet. And if they accept it they said it can take another 8 weeks for them to process. So frustrating
Ok guys finally got some info. So the letter has been generated but wasn’t sent out as yet. But the rep was able to pull up the letter today and tell me what the IRS is requesting. So they need my form 8962 and 1095-a. To prove we had insurance all year. But what pisses me off is that TurboTax didn’t ask me about my health insurance at all this year. So the guy said a quicker way than waiting for this letter to come is to print out the form 8962 Along with my 1095-a and fax it to them
I don’t understand why it takes up to 4 weeks just to receive a letter, give them what they’re asking about and then wait 9 weeks after that for them to process. Just BS
Soooo frustrating, but something doesn’t seem right this year
They have one job to do, send a letter, and it takes them 4 weeks. But yet we have hospitals being built in 10 days in China. IRS needs to step it up
