Thi is BS. I work to got damn hard. Go can it take so long to process a return so simple. They need to tighten up. In scared for next year already. There’s no telling how long u will wait in 2017
Well it seems like i wont get a deposit for whatever reason and instead it will be mailed. Does anyone know from experience when i should expect the check to arrive when WMR says that my check will be mailed BY Feb 5th. Does that mean i will receive it by the 5th or they will send it? This is pissing me off. Why would they mail it before confirming with me first! Security reasons my ass. They shoulve atleast given me a call.

and it states my ddd is 2/3
i’m having fee taken out at sbbt so i’ll check their site on monday or Tuesday to see if they received it yet.
I have an amex serve card and the dd early soo I hope its before Wednesday.OK OK OK!!!

BEEN CHECKING EVERY DAY FOR THE UPDATE ON IRS WEBSITE AND TT.
YESTERDAY 1/29 I SAW PEOPLE ORDERING THEIR TRANSCRIPT FOR THE RETURN. I ORDERED MINE AND IT WENT THROUGH.
I CHECKED AT 3AM IN TEXAS AND STILL SAID ACCEPTED!!!! PISSED OFF
I JUST CALLED AND IT SAYS 2/3 MY DDD WILL BE SENT!!!! CALL THE IRS REFUND NUMBER AND SEE WHAT IT SAYS.

I was accepted 1/11. Yesterday my bars were gone and had the same message you have. I was able to order transcripts (for whatever reason lol) yesterday.
When I checked this morning my bars were back along with a DDD of 2/3.
I think when you notice the bars gone you’ll have an update the next day along with a DDD. Good luck :)weird… filed 1/18, accepted 1/19. one bar but today Turbo tax says: Refund deposited to: and then gives my bank info to my netspend… but also says “accepted” and doesn’t have a date of approval. anybody else have this? I called netspend and they told me nothing there yet.

I filed 19th through Liberty Tax, accepted the 20th. Couldn’t order return transcripts at around 6:30am yesterday, was able to order my return transcripts at 8am. Never tried the account one. Woke up to 2 bars, and DDD 2/3. I have Netspend as well.THIS IS A NEW POST ON THE IGMR FACEBOOK Page:
Alicia B- I filed January 19th, accepted January 23rd. My bars disappeared midnight on the 29th and stayed gone all day yesterday. And had the saying “a refund date will be provided when available” and TODAY I have my DDD of 2/3. Claimed a new dependent this year plus the normal ones I claim. Used H and R block (not emerald card) I was never able to order transcripts. Also, my address changed this year to a new state.
*I’m in this boat as of today, and others are as well. Hopefully this is our result. Now, if we are under review for whatever reason, we probably won’t see an update until Monday night, Tuesday morning I’m guessing. Either way, refreshing to know :) Good luck
Filed 11th, Accepted 12th, Yesterday Account transcripts only, today, no bars, , with “a refund date will be…” message.
Ok so i just got my DDD for 2/3 i filed through liberty tax was accepted 1/19 and was worried about what was taking so long then this morning got my DDD after liberty tax telling me yesterday that i was approved and they were just waiting on my funds to be deposited, so im wondering if there is a possibility that i may get my refund sooner then 2/3 anybody have any words of wisdom for me? Or am i just stuck waiting on the 3rd?
Found this for those that received a stand still on there WMR, maybe you should try this (fyi I’ve already been approved just want to possibly helps those that received a we still need more info message via WMR)…hope maybe this will help, good luck!

So… I called 800-830-5084 and was told that my refund was on hold due to an ID Theft Indicator. He took the time to review my account to see what was the delay. He verified my ID based on questions my tax history (note I did this almost two weeks ago as well) He advised he will be releasing the return as of today and that could take up to 6 additional weeks. What bothers me is that this should have been done two weeks ago when I called and talked with IDPU and they verified my ID… smh So if you are stuck on processing call them and let them clear it upFound this for those that received a stand still on there WMR, maybe you should try this (fyi I’ve already been approved just want to possibly helps those that received a we still need more info message via WMR)…hope maybe this will help, good luck!

Filed on 1/14, accepted 1/19, no updates until today 11:30am CST, 2 bars and a DDD of 2/3. I think most people who were accepted on 1/19 should see updates today or tomorrow latest, with DDD’s of 2/3 or 2/5, so really all those deposits should be going in sporadically throughout this week depending on who you bank with.
I did also call the IRS automated hotline 800-829-1954, and that did tell me I had a DDD of 2/3 about 2 days ago when I called, and my return and account transcripts were available to order 2 days ago as well. I think I was already done processing on 1/28, just no update or DDD until today on WMR :) Be patient everyone, i was losing hope and BAM out of nowhere updates started coming in. Call the IRS line, I think it updates sooner than WMR.
I have read on this website that as of yesterday they have only released 10% of the refunds and they are all $1000 or less. But this what it says today:r Refund Advantage website: (Some light at the end of the tunnel)
January 30, 2016 – A Large Group of Refunds Is Now Scheduled To Be Released by IRS This Coming Week
The IRS is expected to release a large group of refunds this coming week. These refunds are currently showing a direct deposit date at the IRS WHERES MY REFUND of Wednesday February 3. We currently expect to release checks and prepaid cards related to this group on Tuesday afternoon February 2. This group will be the first large group of refunds of the year. Prior to this point, the IRS has only released very small batches of refunds, representing only less than 1% of refunds. It is highly unusual for the IRS to have waited this long to release the first large batch of refunds.
The batch of refunds that should be coming this week will be MUCH larger than what has been released previously, and is expected to include many of the refunds filed between Jan 11 and Jan 18. The batch will also include some refunds filed between Jan 19 and Jan 23, although we do not expect there to be as many from this time period released by the IRS
Filed and accepted on 1/191/16. Just checked this morning 9:00am where I am.. WMR has 2 bars and a ddd of 2/3/16.. & I had an offset due to a prior past due amount that had to be paid.. So my refund is slightly smaller than what it had originally said but I thought it would take some extra time since I knew I owed them a small amount.. Nonetheless I have a ddd of 2/3/16.

I still cannot do transcripts online, i wasn’t able to over the phone either, but today i called the hotline and i was able to order 2015 account transcipt but not return, i moved from MO to CO in june and i had to use my MO Address that i filed with last year, even tho my 2015 return has my co address on it, But this is good news right? maybe i can have it 2/3 or 2/5?

Was finally able to order both my transcripts yesterday but still only had one bar.
Last night at midnight my bar went away and at 4:30am I checked again and it said approved and I will receive my DD by 2/3Question: Anyone that uses netspend- how much earlier than your DDD do you usually get your refund? I’ve heard in people get it 2 days before? How true is that?
Filed and accepted 1/24 had one bar until this morning. Now I have no bars with the “your returning is still being processed message.”
The other common issues I see is if people have an offset or new address
I have new address, no offset, however had a penalty for not having insurance all year, so something is getting paid out of my return to Obama care
So Liberty Tax told me that the code 9001 just means that my TIN wasn’t primary but a secondary. Now I filed Married, filing Jointly and my wife was ‘spouse’. No issues until today with anything. As of now she can call the automated line, and use WMR and get all the information and it shows 1 bar still. Tells her on the automated line that the return is processing. I’m the only one it says 9001 for. So back to Liberty, they tell me what happened, even though I made more than her for gross annual income, is that in the IRS system we got ‘switched’ and she is now primary and that I shouldn’t worry. Same with the link that was posted on here earlier. Any other information would be great! I did read online that no delays would happen, but I’m a bit concerned now.
I also have 151. Nothing has changed from last year. This sucks
