Okay everyone that has bars missing….Just got off the phone with a very nice IRS rep who says that I have been “randomly” pulled for manual review. WHICH means that I have to wait an extra week. He assured me that I just need to wait one extra week. I should have gotten the DD this week (Feb.3rd) but I guess its not going to be until next week Feb. 11th. Darn…I really counted my money before I had it. But the good news is that there is nothing wrong with bars missing just means they need to look at it for the “internal review” stats. This explains why I was only able to order my account transcript and not the return transcript. He said once they are done by early next week that I can order it. He DID indicate (in so many words) that once I can order the transcript it means they are done and I am getting my money soon!! So yes, some bad news with good news. Hey….its better than an audit right!

It shouldn’t matter if u have the serve card my money goes to republic bank because I used tax act and they take out my fees. It shows my login just no money received yet. Did u file jointly if so are you using the primary ssn and just double check info just some tips, good luck

Filed 1/11, accepted 1/12. Ordered account transcript 1/29. Bars gone but still have Tax Topic 152. Tried 2 hours ago for return transcript and it wasn’t there. Just attempted again and I received the “system unavailable” message. Will try again soon.. Thanks for the update!!!

I am waiting for the refund to post to be. I called Walmartmoneycard.com and they said they dont even see it yet. So I don’t understand has anyone that got their money today on walmarrtmoneycard or only the people with net10 have got theirs. I am hoping to see it come tomorrow but who knows they might make me wait to the 3rd. But also does anyone know why irs.gov you can’t use the where’s my refund because I just tried and said try again later

I am not sure if this means anything at all, but figured I would share. I have been trying to order transcripts now for a few days and when trying to enter information, the system gave an error saying the information did not match. I did move since last year, so I tried both my old and new address. No luck. So, I tried calling the transcripts hotline, and it was not recognizing my SSN, which worried me!

So I called, and figured this would be a sure way to get info on my return also. The IRS still had my old address is their system, and the woman did update it. She also gave me the generic response to the status of my refund. No luck there.

So I take from this, that the IRS has not even touched my refund, since the new address on my return was not even updated. I am also *hoping* that maybe since she updated it, that might help it along – doubt it.

@Kim: It depends on what bank you have and what their procedures are. I’d suggest calling them tomorrow to find out. For instance, I have AmEx Bluebird, and they informed me that they do not even accept the return to reject it, it is automatically rejected in their automated system and therefore does not even have a chance to be looked at by the bank; they said the IRS will try to deposit three times in the same day (24 hour period). Once they stop trying, it will change over to being mailed out. I’d also read from people in 2015 (for 2014 returns) that received their physical check within two weeks of rejection in the months of February and March. Hope that helps instill some confidence in the situation.

They have known it since you were accepted and mine still says they have not received it which is odd because those with netspend already have their money so it apparent that irs has sent the funds maybe just gotto wait till tommorrow for an update during normal bank hours any way we really are not suppossed to have it till wednesday just would be nice to see that our money has left irs and is in the last stop before its in our bank

Good Morning!!!! I am going to explain somethings here so everyone please read this very carefully!!
1. Transcripts will begin back processing this evening into tomorrow morning fro the daily returns.. this is cycle 02… around 6am we will start seeing people with access to both transcripts… this is a good thing.. meaning your return is finsihed processing.,,, Wednesday morning, WMR will update for a deposit day of 2/5!!! If you are a 02 cycle (daily cycle) and lost bars etc, last week,,, this is your chance to resquence and process….. if the batch is not full they may process other post hold returns.
2. Post hold returns are returns that posted but did not process yet… example… you can order account transcripts but no return transcripts… you are considered in a post hold which is also called system idle. what does this mean? This means that your return was indeed posted but has not been worked and is now sitting there waiting for your next cycle process to repost and process….Thes reason you lose your bars, tax topic, 21 day message, etc…. is because you are sitting in the post hold (idle) waiting for your next cycle… Now… today is an elongated day… meaning a day for long processing due to the deferred day Friday which is a non posting day for daily retuns and yes they have to post as many as these returns as they system allows…. so some of these returns will begin to process tonight into tomorrow morning… the system will shut down between 330 and 6am to download the return transcripts etc, so after 6am we will start seeing this updates.
3.Address Issues: Now if you can order your account transcripts with your old address then this means your return is posted but has not been worked… the new address will not update until your return has been processed and indeed posted… this is when you will be able to access transcripts with your new address and your return will be finished processing. It will only change when your return transcript has been processed and updated.
4. Resequencing: This is due to the returns posting but not being able to process… reasons for resequencing… early filing, full cycle which causes post hold, error on return, etc…. each return that is resequenced goes to the next date for that cycle to process and waits for its turn… now returns can be resequenced over and over due to amount of returns already being processed.. They do have a daily processing limit.
5. Weekly returns post on Thursday for processing on Friday… Wmr on Saturday for ddd of Wednesday… Weekly returns will not process until Friday….
6. Daily vs Weekly… Cycles 01 02 03 04 are daily cycles. 05 is the only weekly cycle!
7. The word cycle has 2 different meanings when it comes to the IRS manual. Cycle is used for days and weeks… so example 20150304 the 03 is your weekly cycle number to where 04 is your daily cycle and so on….
Now I know this is alot to read and concept….. and I know I have left tons of things out but this is were we are gonna start today…. so ya’ll work with me and we will make it throw this!!

Hey Kim,

I did in 2014 and it sucked. It took 10 days for the bank to reject the deposit TWICE, then it gets kicked back to the IRS. Once it comes back to them it is flagged for a check to be sent. It took about 6 weeks for me to receive my check after the bank rejected it the 2nd time. I’ve been following this thread for about a week now. Here’s what I have to offer:

Transcripts: account but not refund

I called today and got a lovely lady that “broke the rules” and looked up my return. She told me that it appears as though my return was pushed back an additional week (estimated DDD of 01/12) because of all the returns that came in on the 22nd, they had to basically “re-que” quite a few of them. I do not have any offsets, but filed for EIC, child tax credit, school interest credit, interest tax, and daycare credit. She said it’s not completely impossible for me to still see it by this Friday, but highly unlikely. I don’t know if this will help anyone, I’m super bummed. I use a good chunk of my income tax to put aside to pay my monthly school loan payment and pay for one extended camping trip during the summer with my mini me.

What does weekly and daily mean? Also called the IRS today and the lady was able to bring up my entire return. Is that a good sign, since they say they are not able for 21 days and it has not been 21 days yet? I usually get my return on Friday, so am I weekly or daily? Filed 15th accepted on the 20th and can order account transcripts as of Friday. Not able to get a refund transcripts as of yet.

Filed 9 Feb accepted by IRS 12 jan. Lost my wmr tracker bars Saturday morning. Says tax return still being processed and a refund date will be provided when available. Only code is the code pertaining to direct deposit of refunds. Called the offset line Saturday. Had no offsets. Called that line a few minutes ago and was told that information now is not available. I wonder if they they now are adding debts to my account or am I just worrying too much. Have filed early for many years and received refund within a week. Retired from military in 2000. Left last civilian job in 2005 and have been retired ever since due to health concerns so nothing has changed since 2005. What the heck is going on here?
