Nothing has changed for me from previous years and I sent in my income documentation when I filed just to be safe. I really hope I don’t have to wait a whole month like I did last year.

DD 1/14 ChimeFTB is on a good one this year. It’s been 3 weeks since I filed and i getting the generic “we haven’t began processing returns, it’ll take 4-6 weeks”. Which is bs because several people have received refunds now. Not sure why they can’t manually review and process returns like they have every year previously smh

@DON I haven’t been approved yet, I had to send in some verifications. But based on previous years you should have your refund Thursday or Friday unless you have an offset.
Still no moment movement on my end. Hopefully I’ll update overnight, if not I’ll be calling tomorrow until I get someone to push it through.

Accepted 1/16They’re on a good one this year 😂 I’ve got a couple different times and my taxes are still held up even though I’ve sent in and they’ve received my documentation. I keep getting “we haven’t began processing refunds yet”. Ughhh and no one I’ve spoken to even tries to push it though as we all know they can do if they want to from previous years.

I filed 1/23 and got a letter for the documents uploaded to my account on 2/13. Went and faxed everything the same day and called a few times that day and the next. Talked to a nice guy the next day that pushes it through for me but because of holiday i didn’t get an issue date until 2/18

I called them everyday after I sent in my child’s proof of address, social security card and birth certificate. I needed to verify for the young child tax credit. No self employment.

The 846 codes are legitimate. It’s the same EVERY YEAR lol. A small batch of people get processed right away and get early deposits. Then everyone else come flooding in on Friday. And of course prepaid debit cards start getting funds before everyone and sometimes before WMR ever even updates.

No I think you should see your money tomorrow if your issue Date is 2/14. If you scroll through the comments, others with an offset received their money in 3 business days just like those without an offset.

Mine is not showing in my ftb account but am expecting a letter.
If 2/13 received DD today, then 2/14 should receive it tomorrow and 2/18 should receive funds Friday (2/21)
It happens overnight. Can’t really pinpoint a time. I’ve scrolled through an most recently people said around 11pm-ish

Yep, still stuck 🙄 Just spoke to a rep and they told me I was processed 2/13 and have 2 offsets. So still not sure if I’m stuck because of the offset and new balance or if I’m stuck because the system was in limbo from the holiday.

It’s still not saying anything on the ftb WMR but when I sign in it says processed so I’m guessing I have an issued date of 2/14. Hopefully I’ll receive funds 2/19. 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Are you still stuck? I am and it’s nerve racking. I’ve heard of it doing this for maybe an hour while updating but this long?! 🤦🏽♀️
I’ve been trying to check since about 11pm last night and keep getting “ We are unable to provide your refund status online using the information you provided.” What gives?! It’s been 5 hours!
Just got off the phone with them and spoke to a pretty cool guy that said all my documents were there and he was going to go ahead and process my return. He also let me know that my return might be intercepted by the edd for an overpayment last year. Lol I didn’t know they could see all of that. Hopefully I’ll update to issued either today or tomorrow 🤞🏽
I filed and accepted the 27th. Was stuck on processing and 1 month message and yesterday got a notice that I needed to submit documents. I claimed CalEITC and the new Young Child Tax Credit. I sent in everything yesterday morning and called a few times throughout the day today. Hopefully I get pushed through to ‘issued’ overnight 🤞🏽 If not I’ll be harassing the ftb tomorrow 😂
For those of you that sent in documentation (fax), how long did it take for them to receive it/upload it?
They didn’t ask me to prove anything pertaining to myself only the children. They asked for social for everyone, my children’s birth certificates, a list of where my children have lived all year and proof of those addresses.
Well woke up to a notice 🤦🏽♀️ I have to send in documents for myself and children. I’ve been stuck on one check and I claimed the CalEITC and YCTC.
Just to clear peoples confusion there is a difference between the California EIC and the young child tax credit.
I called last Wednesday and pressed 1 today I called and pressed 2. (916) 845-7088 also incase anyone wants the number to check fire an offset: (916) 845-2867

Just curious for the people that haven’t been approved yet are you claiming CalEitc? I think that may be the hold up.
@sand03 yes I filed directly through CalFile. I never use tax software to do it. But this year even when filing directly with them it took 2 days before it even showed as recieved and processed.
Same thing happened last year. CA was taking their sweet a$$ time. When I initially filed it took a couple days for it to show up too. I suspect we will all see ‘issued’ this week.

Netspend here with 2/27 DDD. I’m definitely expecting it tomorrow but am hearing it’s a possibility to receive it late tonight.
Mini vacation to Vegas for my 30th, getting the kids set for summer, paying up bills and if there’s a reasonable amount left over I might upgrade my phone 🤔 idk if I’m liking the new iPhones so much so I might switch over to android for the galaxy note

This year is really whacky, everyone’s path lifted at midnight and transcripts started changing at midnight (3am est) even though the “big update” was supposed to happen between 12:30a-3a (3:30-6est) so who knows what’s actually going to go in tonight. And remember that the times on WMR are all east coast times, so calculate that to whatever YOUR time zone is. For some reason people think it’s 3:30am their own time and it’s not unless of course you live on the east coast.

I learned my lesson as well! Definitely waiting until after 2/15 to file. I’ve grown more and more patient over the years thankfully lol I remember I used to stay up every weekend to see updates smh. The next 2 years the 15th falls on the weekend and I’m definitely going to avoid that and wait.
Yea I was going to say I don’t think netspend holds deposits but wasn’t too sure so I didnt say BUT i think it might be a test deposit that people might be seeing.

Nothing for me yet but netspend doesn’t usually post deposits this early. Still have a few hours to go.
The big update is tomorrow morning (Fri i to Sat) for weeklies and WMR updates at 3:30am EASTERN time not 3:30am wherever you are. So that’s 12:30am pacific and 2:30am central.
You’ll either update Saturday or next Saturday
I don’t doubt that later this evening and all through tomorrow we’ll start seeing deposits drop but of course highly doubt there will be movement on WMR
For everyone saying it’s impossible, IT IS. You all must’ve forgotten last year when literally thousands of people started getting deposits on 15th and 16th. Those were all people with prepaid cards though, I’ve never heard of regular bank accounts posting funds this early.

I filed early-ish (2nd test batch) and haven’t had any problems as I’ve seen some others have i.e. stuck at 1 bar, no return found, no path for weeks. I’m also a PATHer So i won’t t update until this Fri/Sat
They say a far out date every year just in case. Better safe than sorry I guess, you never know when there might be a shut down or anything disruptive to the irs

I still don’t have a full grasp of it but I just remember from previous years I was told that from my cycle code I’m a weekly. I update Friday/Saturday. Here’s a link that might help 😊

I’m the same. I’m also a weekly and have a 2/18 processing date.
Fingers crossed for Friday, maybe Saturday 🤞🏽🍀 but I don’t remember if they deposit on weekends. 🧐🤔
I should say their DDD was 2/22 and got DD three days early on 2/16

So those using netspend can expect DD’s to start hitting their cards as early as next Thursday if their DDD is in fact going to be 2/20

Accepted 1/22That’s not necessarily true. I believe if they can push it through they will. However in some circumstances it’s out of their control. In my situation I’m self employed so one of my forms needed wasn’t ready/released until today for efiling.
Finally got a straight answer from someone this morning. I guess someone is currently working on it but they’re missing the Sch C for for profit loss which I don’t see how is my fault when I filed directly through their site. Anyways the lady said she spoke with the agent working on it and they’re trying to see if they can push it through if not I’ll get a notice and that the site should update for by Monday if not to call back.
