Ky refund site recognized my info today (for the 1st time) and gave the following message: Your 2017 return has been received. The direct deposit for your refund has been authorized and should be issued within 10 days.
My Ky refund just posted to my Chime account!
Just adding to the chain that I filed on 2/1 and was just accepted this morning. We shall see if they begin approving before the 26th.
Called and got through. If you are getting a busy signal as soon as call, try dialing 1 502 564 1600 since it is a toll number. The rep said that mine is still processing and gave the standard 7-10 days from the day THEY started processing which was 1/29/16. So we are on day 8 (counting only business days).
The rep said that refunds are then processed up to 5 days after the return is finished so to expect refunds to start coming through next week.
I called yesterday and the rep said that no one for KY has received a refund yet and to “give it some time”. Today the online lookup is not available so hopefully they are updating.
I talked to a Netspend rep who said that if the card has not arrived before the deposit, the deposit will be pending and not post to the account until the card is activated. If you start seeing a lot of people post that their refunds are available, you may want to call Netspend and ask if there is a pending deposit on your account as you may not get a mobile alert. the card should arrive in 7-10 days not including weekends. Hope this helps!
The myth about ordering transcripts may be true. Friday I was able to order both transcripts and Saturday morning I had a DDD for 2/3. It turns out, my experience with the PIN hasn’t been too bad.
Update: Today I was able to order both transcripts. I will update again with a DDD or actual DD
