Hi guys I figured I’d share my experience. I filed my taxes 1/22 at around 8:30 and was approved about a half hour later. Both IRS and State of VT currently say accepted. Although, my state refund was deposited today. I filed with H&R Block. Hoping for Feds in a few days!

I filed & accepted 1/26 and I’m still n/a for account & return transcripts (I know it’s too soon to expect them yet).
Congrats to those who have gotten a DDD or 846 code so far… for those like myself who hasnt, just sit tight and we (should) see one soon as well!

Im getting the same msg to call. I cant view them online. And when I called they said nothing was wrong and that the 2014 wasn’t ready to view yet. But i just told her to send me a copy of 2013 just for the hell of it. I hope that I dot have to go thru thru the same BS as last year. It was SUCH a pain and head ache. I was an early filer last year. and I didnt get my taxes until almost the end of Feebruary

Yes something is wrong either wmr didn’t update properly or your in the errors resolution department is you call and pressure them they should be able to see it is out and in the hands of a human

Melissa, go to Accont Transcripts, the codes are there, all of them. I have a 846, which means, it has been process. and Refund amount which is the same amount I file. No problems.

I filed on the 20th was accepted on the 21 an had one bar a day later my bar was gone an had processing will notify with ddd date. And tax topic 152 is there something wrong ? I do not have any offsets

A few years ago I put the wrong bank name and nothing changed. Still got my refund within a week.

People think the filing / accepting date is all that makes process exactly at the same time as others

One depends on the batch your in how many people filed and at what location it’s at.

Depends on staffing and manual checks of system glitchs or there is an error and so on…

Just be patient

Justine that’s either good or bad.. Good meaning wmr might not have updated and ur getting ur refund or bad it’s frozen and the ir is auditing you.. I know it’s to opposite ends but without seeing the codings I can’t tell you

I can view all of my transcripts today, but don’t have code 846 like everyone else.
Mine says 150 (tax return filed), 806 (w-2 or 1099 withholding) 766 (credit to your account) 768 (EIC). just confused how I could see all my information and not be done processing?

Bart, I have the same question as Rosane! I filed on the 15th through Taxslayer, accepted on 1/20 and suddenly today my orange bar disappeared! But all the other info is there even the 152 code. Is this good news like things are moving or should we be worried?!

I filed on the 19th and was accepted on the 20th. I checked my transcripts and I can access an account transcript, but there is no return data or cycle code or anything like that in it. I cannot access a return transcript. I am concerned about the status of my refund.

On WMR, I have one bar and the normal tax topic 152. Does the fact that my account transcript lacks return info mean anything? Could my return possibly be delayed as a result, or are transcripts essentially meaningless in that regard?

1. I was wondering if you are always the same cycle…

I cannot see or order account or return trans for 2014, but was looking through the old ones, and every year since 2010, my cycle has ended w/ “0605.” I remember last year and the year before I got my DDD on Sat am for that following Wed.

2. If that is the case, I could maybe get a DDD this Sat for Wed 2/4? I have no bars though, I filed the 12th, accepted 13th, bar disappeared the 15th and “refund provided when avail…” ever since.

3. Anyone know how often transcripts update for viewing?

@JAY make sure you are looking at the right Transcript, ACCOUNT Transcript.. 2014, scroll down to bottom of first page, under TRANSACTIONS it will say “Code Explanation of Transaction” and it will say something like:

150 TAX RETURN FILED (CYCLE DATE) (2-16-2015) (AMOUNT)
766 CREDIT TO YOUR ACCOUNT (4-15-2015) (AMOUNT)
768 EARNED INCOME CREDIT (4-15-2015) (AMOUNT)
846 REFUND ISSUED (2-16-2015) (AMOUNT)

I was an early filer who has had the “your return is still being processed” message since like the 15th and still do. Anyway, I was able to access my account transcript this morning but there is all zeros on there, no codes, and it says no record of return filed. None of my other transcripts are available yet. Why do you think it looks like this? Still processing, maybe? Just wondering what’s going on and I refuse to call the IRS right now because I know they won’t tell me anything. Thanks for any help you can give me.

You need to call that because u are pulled for id verification.. Your refund won’t process until you verify your identity

My refund was delayed until April last year because of my last name changing. A TA had to get involved since I was getting nowhere. This year I file 12th, approved on the 13th. WMR shows 1st bar and Topic 152 since the 13th and that bar has never gone away. When I go to order my transcripts, I can only get the 2013 mailed to me, the 2014 is not available. When I go to order them online, a message to call the Identity Protection Specialized Unit comes up. Should I be worried that this year will play out like last year?

answering people will get ddd Friday and next week as well processing isn’t just done by date but also by irs location and that’s y some get the refund faster then others that’s all it is assuming no mistakes

Just so you guys know the IRS changed cycle days this year, 01 = Friday, 02 = Monday, 03 = Tuesday, 04 = Wednesday, and 05 = Thursday

So I just called and talked someone and she told me my Direct deposit will be going out on 1/30. I filed on 1/8 and got accepted on 1/12.. I was worried for a while. But they are not updating the system until next week.

Bart D, I think we have a miscommunication. I am not assuming there is an error or delay with my return. I’m not sure why you would be either. I was asking a forward thinking/positive kind of question about DO you know if the first groups of refunds to people’s banks should be coming this Friday and early next week … if not, any updated information you may have. I see you’re busy with several forums and do not worry about backtracking to my original comment if this isn’t making sense to you. The refund will come when it comes. New gal: worst case is an audit obviously but prolly is not the case. The delay is most likey an error is processing such as a math error or they are verifying income. Math error doesn’t mean it was added wrong. Example if you were suppose to put a 0 in a box sometimes the tax software forget to put it or ignores the 0 and then that 0 has to be manually put in.. Now that is the common. Also if you were accepted on the 12 th that means you were a test batch which mean it could have failed and then they re entered it the system…

I am experiencing the same thing, Elle. When i open my account transcript, all the codes are there EXCEPT for the 846. The last code on my transcript is 768, the earned income credit. I also have a tax offset, but when I call the IRS they have no record of it (YET, anyway). My cycle code is also 20150402. Wish I knew what has happening! Anybody have any ideas?

You should not have a minus sign across from code 846 refund issued. It should just be your refund amount without a minus

Yes that means they took your refund if you have a minus sign by the amount. Call the offset line at 800-304-3107 it will tell you about your debt, if it was taken and who took it.

Okay, how or why would you think it’s delayed, necessarily? I’m not asking for negative feedback or worst case scenario, it will come when it comes. I’m more asking if it is reasonable that someone in that time frame of the 12th (or 20th, if you prefer) may reasonably fall into the first or second group of deposits. I’m asking because it’s my first year at this site and the level of ‘insider’ knowledge so to speak has been very helpful and interesting. To my knowledge turbo tax did the math correctly. I understand that if they made any mistakes then there could be a delay but I’m not operating under that premise with this question. Sorry if this comment is too long. I’m concerned right now about if the site’s getting too heavy, overloaded with users, since there was a comment about ‘pull some more’. Good luck and thanks again.

Just checked my Ohio refund status again. I filed the 20th and got it kicked back but sent it right back out and was accepted the 21st. I had that generic message stating they haven’t received my return until today…. Now I have that January 27th message and of course “manual review”. So stupid.

ok so I went to “account transcript” and now see the 846. Next to it is the cycle 20150402 but, it shows a date of 2-16-2015. So does this mean I will have to wait until the 16th to get my refund? I filed and was accepted on the 22nd, so that would be more than 21 days…argh this is soooo confusing.
