The burning question is…how many of us “early filers” are going to wait to file next year???
Now remember…ig is possible that you will receive state a few weeks earlier than Fed.

I officially locked myself out for the day which is interesting as I have checked it only twice. Once when I woke up and again around 5pm.
I read in a other forum that others received an update after that and to checkWMR. So…I did and was told I exceeded the max attempts for today.

Super interesting as I have checked way more than 3 times a day in previous years.

I can still access transcripts and can still see a credit Balance with no DDD/846.

Hoping tomorrow would be it a cording to cycle codes. But…it seems that doesnt even matter.

The bill collectors are getting angry now lmao. We ALL need that money.

Sucks living paycheck to paycheck and doesnt help that my refund is literally more than 1/3 of what I take home annually.

Would love to not be do broke to have to qualify for EITC but until I finish my degree…low income with a couple kiddos is where I’m at…and we all are at if we are here. Theres a misconception about peeps that get EITC. We aren’t screwing over anyone and are working hard…maybe even harder than those with kush jobs.

The ups and downs of being an early filer and having those credits. Believe me, I would rather make more money throughout the year than to have these credits!
In other forums I have read it appears that PATH folks that filed after 2/1 have a DDD already.

In years past my cycle code was 0505 and Icalways received my DDD for Thursday.

I dont think Mass updates on weekends. At least, it has not updated on weekends (for me) in the past.
Keep us updated if you get one over the weekend though.
If nothing the weekend than I would say Tuesday at the latest.

It seems that people that switched banks accounts since last year are getting letters for ID verify.
I’m sure you will get the letter today or tomorrow.

My process date is also 2/11 which is weird because I am a PATHer as well. Have EITCand ACTC.
According to my transcripts over the last few years my processing date was also a few weeks AFTER I received my Deposit…makes zero sense to me.
I’ve had the same tax situation since they starting the hold with EIC and ACTC.

Heres a breakdown of the tax year, Process Date and DDD
2016 02/20/17 DDD 2/23/17
2017 03/05/18 DDD 2/22/18
2018 02/11/19 DDD ????

If you’re on MTC and looking st the amounts under this years period your refund amount should be the amount listed on the “Other” line.
Or…like Sha said…Check the refund tab to see your amount. Scroll down a bit to one of Sha060809 s posts for directions on how to get there.

Keep me posted. We have the same bank!!!!! I have had it for a few years and it usually takes 1-3 business days for mine to clear. Going off past records, when my DDD is Monday, I receive it on Tuesday.
But…another year my DDD was on a Friday but it didnt clear until Tuesday.

I am finding my account has been updating between 12AM-6:30AM for Acceptance and DDD.
I filed on 01/22. Received acceptance email via fax prep on 02/01 @1:45AM, also “Green” on MTC as of 02/01 early morning. Noticed DDD this morning around 6:20AM.

Fed is still on PATH message for me. No update expected until the end of next week at the earliest. I typically file before IRS and State opens and always receive Fed no later than the February 23rd.

Most of us that received a DDD for 02/11 filed before 01/28 and just received our update today. Heres to hoping you have a DDD for tomorrow. And you are right about the difference between MassTaxConnect (MTC) and the Mass Wheres My Refund (WMR) tool.

If anyone is using MTC, it will not show your DDD; only the date return was received and if a credit or payment is owed.
To check if it was Received or DDD listed, Go to Mass WMR, enter your info, and dates will be shown there.

The phone and online systems seem to be aligned this year and should provide the same info. You can also call the DOR line and enter your info that way. It will provide the same information listed using the MA Where’s My Refund site. 1-800-392-6089 or 617-887-6367

When I check my tax transcripts I can see my refund amount as a credit and it has a processing date for 2/11. I’ll let you know if theres any movement on that next week. Obviously I’m EIC and ACTC.

Forgot to mention with State, I could not submit it through H&R until Fed was accepted.

For those that received ID verify letter…
1. Do you know if it was due to a change in bank accounts?
2. When you verified identity during tax prep (if prepared by yourself via online tax prep) did you take a picture of your ID and use that or did you enter it manually?

I may be switching bank accounts this year and am curious for future reference.

I am a PATH filer and updated today. So (now) I dont think that has any bearing on refunds. You should see an update by tomorrow. It appears they are updating daily.

I’ve never had an issue with state and always had a DDD by now. Super frustrated just like everyone else.

We make sure to file early but then it gets held back. They claim EIC and ACTC have nothing to do with it yet it seems like most filers with those credits haven’t received a DDD yet.

Not sure about you but I used HR. I couldn’t transmit state until Fed was accepted. I’m EITC and ACTC.
Fed accepted on 1/22 and the I transmitted State.
State Received on 1/22
Accepted also on 2/1 and been green on MassTC since 2/1.
For Last year, same situation but I received State DDD 2/9 (in acct on 2/12), Fed DDD and in act on 2/22.

Go to Mass Wheres my refund and enter your info.
If your your stuff is already processed and ready to go, you will have the date of issue.
If no DDD, the you may just be accepted or in processing.
