Transcripts are definitely updating!!! I have been stuck with 570 and 971 codes since the update on 2/15. Processing date on the 971 was 3/9, I called last week and was told I was under a review that could take up to 60 days and wouldn’t start until 3/9. I never received an letters or anything, this morning my transcripts have updated with 571 as of 3/2 and 846 with DDD 3/11. That 60 day review thing was just a stall tactic I think because they were so far behind on releasing funds.

@jamie yeah I think you’re right, it seems very unlikely that so many of us are being reviewed. Re-sequenced sounds more like it and they are just giving us the BS 45 or 60 day review script to get us off the phone when we call. I got the 570 code on 2/15 and the 971 last week but have yet to receive a letter.
Still no update for me. 971 code on 2/22 update with a processing date of 3/9. Today nothing happened. I was hopeful that I would see DDD today but I called IRS and was told I’m under 45 day review that won’t even start until 3/9. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

I refuse for them to tell me some fabricated story.
It really doesn’t make sense that all of these people are under review. My transcripts, WMR, and when I log into my IRS account all show my filing status and my refund amount. Seems to me that would indicate that my refund is complete.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we will see some kind of update this weekend.@jojo Same here. I’ve been able to log in and see my refund amount until today.
I won’t even bother calling again. I see people calling multiple times getting a different answer every time they call. I think they have a script of a few different things to say just to get people off the phone. It seems highly unlikely to me that all of these people are all being pulled for review. I’m holding out hope that most of us will see a weekend update with DDD.
I forgot to mention that my refund amount shows on WMR as well as HOH and it also shows when I log into my IRS account to view transcripts. Three of the four transcripts are complete, only the wage isn’t. To me, that seems like my refund has been completely processed because before my IRS account was showing last year’s info and WMR only had HOH with no amount.
I don’t understand how so many people could be under review all at the same time. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we see an update this weekend with DDD.
All of the same info here. Called on 2/21 and all they would tell me was they are sending a letter the first week of March. I really hope I don’t have to wait two more weeks just for them to send the letter. Not sure what could be wrong, I have filed the same way for at least the last 10 years with the same two children. I know i have never seen the 570 code until this year and it seems like a lot (too many) people are getting it. Very frustrating this year.

Seems like 1/27 to 2/7 filers are stuck or received the 570 and 971 codes like I did. My processing date changed to 3/9/2020 and since 2/15 those codes are the only update I’ve had. I don’t even bother checking WMR anymore just check transcripts. I can see all of them but the wage transcripts. Refund amount shows up when I log in to view transcripts and on WMR. This year has been a very frustrating process.

Has anyone had the 971 code on transcripts and updated to 846 before getting the letter in the mail? Updated last week to 570, then this morning to 971 with a date of 3/9/202. Is that the date that the letter is going to be sent? Is it possible to update to 846 before then? What are your thoughts??
