Mine was as of 2/13 until last week or the week before it changed to 2/20 and my cycle code is 20230505. No update on my transcripts right now. Last year I got my refund on the 16th or 17th and my ddd was 2/22.

Yes whatever date is next to the 846 code(refund issued) is the date you should get it by. Usually it’s before then but Monday is a holiday? So it may be closer to that date

All of my transcripts say N/A except the account transcript and it says “no return filed”. Historically I have been a weekly. I am a PATHer, filed 2/3 accepted same day, WMR says return received and processing. Someone talk me down here, I’ve never seen this before.

They say 6-8 weeks to protect themselves and they read from that script all the way through the tax season. In reality, this early, it shouldn’t take more than a week

“still” normally means something has happened to hold up your return. Normally, it’s identity verifying, which does not take longer than a few days to a couple weeks. Unfortunately, it could mean something more ominous. Whether it’s A or B, something has happened. Sorry!

The thing is the IRS specifically said WMR should show an updated status BY the 18th… I think everyone keeps saying the 15th based on past years but you are right it doesn’t say the 15th is specifically the day PATH lifts. It’s almost an expectation because it is technically the middle of February

My transcript will update Friday or Saturday morning and I am hoping to see a DDD for early next week. The processing date is already sooner than last year and I received mine on the 24th last year. There’s a ton of misinformation going around here. Here’s some info that may help.

The law does not specifically mention or call out a specific date, rather uses the term “mid-Feb”. This means anytime after the second week of Feb.

Returns are issued immediately, unless you have an issue, refunds will immediately begin to go out. Again, depending on your place in line depends on your actual DDD.

If you are PATH, you nor anyone else will get your return before the block is lifted. Doesn’t matter if you filed and got excepted early.

SBTPG does not slow up your return for longer than a few hours. Use then all the time and always get on or before my DDD.

Feb. 15th is not the law, show me where it states, specifically a date. It says mid-Feb. Mid-Feb does not mean the 15th. The IRS will never give a date due to possible delays. This year it’s the 18th, but keep in mind, the 18th is a Saturday and the following Monday is a Holiday.
