If they tell u that money has been/will be taken on a specific date then u know u r approved and that same date is ur refund date
It’s when u owe money to your state tax, child support or student loans and they take it out ur refund. I believe theres more places u can owe to that they will offset ur money for but I jus know of those 3 for sure. 800 304 3107 call to check ur name.
From what I’ve seen everyone say offsets dont delay ur refund at all
Omg yall! So I got a 4464c letter of review on 2/11. File N accepted 1/27 with TT…both PaTH credits. Cant view my transcripts. I jus called the offset line and they took my lil money owed from 3 yrs ago when I forgot to file my state as of 2/26 😱😱😱 didnt file state yet this year. I’m getting my monies! I thought for sure I’d have to wait the whole 60 day review. My WMR hasn’t updated yet but I dont even care!!! 🤑🤯🤑

Filed and accepted on 1/27 with TT. Had 1 bar with tt152 then to path message now says being processed with my info on the left. I got 4464c on 2/11. 60 day review. Sumana beaches :/
Filed & accepted 1/27. Both PaTH credits. 1 bar with tt 152 on WMR since forever. W2 and schedule c. Got a letter in the mail 3 days ago. I’m under review. It said dont call til 60 days but I did anyway. Stayed on hold 1 hour…wasnt really told much but that it’s a questionable return and to call back in 30 days if it’s not resolved. I’ve been filing the exact same pretty much for years but I do move alot and change w2 job often too…that’s been my normal for 10 yrs tho. I was in review a few yrs ago then had to I’d verify…got my refund in mid april. Every other year was smooth.

What ur transcript say?Filed and accepted 1/27 with TurboTax efile. Both PaTH credits. On WMR 1/29 I believe my 1 bar appeared with “being processed” & the tax topic 152. I have no PaTH message. I never could make an online account for transcripts so I tried to order by mail and they aren’t recognizing my new address yet…still my address from last year. Guessing I’ve been resequenced. I’m a weekly also…always update real early Saturdays on WMR with a DDD for the following Wednesday. Seems if I’d have a problem I would have already gotten a letter but I know I’m not out the woods yet. I believe I’m good tho ,’ >
