I filed through TT on the 23 accepted shortly after on the same day I I only have child tax credit and earned income credit. Still only have one bar. It’s frustrating I know. I have a hard time believing anyone at all had a DDD. I’ve only seen a few people claiming to have one and haven’t seen anyone else on the internet claiming to have one. If it were true there would be posts everywhere about it, especially on Facebook. And for the very few that say they got their money, I can assure you they are full of sh*t. Call the irs yourself, no refunds have been issued yet at all, even turbo tax shows nobody received a refund yet. I would assume the government is holding the money at least until the first because our money they have collects interest for them and it’s easier to budget the money when funds are released at the beginning of the month. And for the people mad that filed way too early and are mad, they didn’t even start processing returns until the 19th so even though they may have accepted it early, it just sat there doing nothing until the 19th. Hope this helps someone.

I think when they are saying that it was approved, maybe on the 11th and 12th the IRS accepted our refunds to process, but the processing wasn’t finished until the 26th or whatever later date they are giving.

I can be completely wrong, I am calling TT now myself.

Ok so this is whats pissing me off! I got an email from TT on the 12th saying my refund had been accepted by the IRS. So I just called TT and ask when did the IRS get my return she says the 26th! HOW? Ever since I got that email I have checked WMR and Ive had a bar there! I can wait patiently for my money but now I feel like it some BS! I probably wont go thru them again.

Earlier this morning I was only about to order my account transcript but it said my return transcript was not available. I just tried 10 mins ago and it allowed me to order my return transcript now. I still don’t have movement on WMR and i was accepted 1/12. Any idea when I will get DDD?

People have received refunds by the way … All you have to do is log into turbo tax click on track my refund and it will tell you the percent of people who have filed that received their refund already it went from 0 to 1% … Have a great day!

Well here is my little story. On the 26th I could not log in or anything. prior to that I was able to order past returns.

Now on the 27th, i still couldn’t log in but towards the afternoon I was able to and I was able to order my account transcript.

Now yesterday of course I had to check to see if I could get my return and I couldn’t log in at all! Very similar on tuesday.

Now we are in the present, I was able to log in but can’t order my return it says it is unavailable. So hopefully I am able to order my return today. It sucks we have to wait 5 to 10 days to get our account transcripts in the mail to see what is going.

But I call the offset and check wmr. It still keep saying the generic tax topic for e-file.

It is getting e worried because some people are able to order there returns as soon as they get their account.

Is that normal?

So to my understanding from what I am reading, if I am able to order my “ACCOUNT” transcripts of this year not my “REFUND” transcripts then more than likely my return was processed and approved and that I probably will see an update tomorrow? If anyone could possibly go in depth on this particular topic please I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I was able to order my “ACCOUNT” transcripts for this year a few mins ago if that helps but not refund transcripts.

I checked TT this morning, and It told me, “The IRS expects to issue more than 9 out of 10 refunds in less than 21 days. 3% of TurboTax customers whose returns were also accepted on January 14 have received their money.” I got accepted on the 14th… Why am I at one bar still? Can they be doing DDD updates all day today?

Hey Amanda :) call the IRS transcript hotline 1800-829-4477. It will ask you for you ss#, snd the the number of your street address if it goes through it will then ask what year you would like to order your transcript for you can order a account transcript or return transcript for that year. Try ordering your 2015 return transcript . If it let’s you usually your tax refund is done processing and approved and you should be receiving a DDD in about a day or two..hope this help :)

All of you who are saying you cannot order your return transcript, and only your account one…this is because you are a daily filer. You will see an update on Tuesday giving you access to your return transcript, and should see a deposit for Thursday/Friday.

@Minnie You should be able to at least order your account transcript as of this morning. I am a weekly (05) I was able to order… But not the return transcript. Cycle 05 usually see’s a DDD over the weekend. So I’m hoping for an update with WMR for a Wednesday DDD.

Good news! I spoke with someone at the IRS about 5 min ago and I spoke to a very kind representative. Less than 1min hold time. I explained that filed on 19th and was accepted on the 19th. My refund is due to be deposited on the 3rd of February. He asked if I filed through a preparer and I told him I used TT. He explained that because chose the option for TT to take their fee out of my refund, the money will be sent to TT first, they will take their fee and I will get my refund.

So there is hope at the end of the tunnel.

Note: WMR Tracker has not been updated. My tracker still says accepted; however, the IRS rep said it has been approved.

As has been the case the past several years, this year has turned out the same for me. I am a weekly filer because of my itemized deductions. Last night the IRS updated the masterfile, which makes my account and return transcripts available to be mailed today (Friday morning), and I will assume tomorrow morning that WMR will update and I will see deposit information in Santa Barbara. It’s worked this way for the past six years, I should see a deposit for this coming Wednesday.

I was able to order my transcripts today. Still no movement on my wmr. I don’t have any bars…but it does show it is still processing and that i still have the topic 152. Also…I haven’t been sent any letters or anything stating I needed to call or do anything at all. I just think my WMR is messed up or something. But I was able to order my transcripts, so I feel better.

I guess I am an “early filer” this year. I was accepted on 1/11 and as of today only one bar. I was able to order my account transcript, but not my return, is that a good thing? I noticed last year that I received my return in 16 days , on 2/6 so hopefully I will see an update this weekend!

FYI; To answer a few questions on here; 1. When it gets in the approved bar, it will show the DDD, this is why not many have one yet. 2. Yes, it can take 21 days, business days; I have even seen it take way longer. The IRS can take as long as they like, no reasons needed. It may depend on whether you owe back taxes, child support or student loans. They do have to check your information for accuracy. When they “accept” it, it does not mean they agree with it. It mean all the SSN, DOB, names match what is on file, and the EIN’s for the employers, etc. Therefore, they may take longer to process return. Note, I have worked for Block now for 13 yrs.

@Dee – first off, I can tell ppl to chill just as much as you can tell me to. And “most” people did not get theirs in 8 days last. I don’t know where you got you info but it is wrong. For those that did…awesome, that is great. For the most part tho there was many issues that happened last year that held up returns.

@Heather – Very mature. I congratulate anyone who receives their refund early. This year or previous. And my reasons for “trolling” are simple. I come here to try and offer any advice if needed and for any intel that may indicate issues. I know last year there were several issues that cause many a delayed refund.

I’m not that worried about being able to order Account vs. Return. If the account is now available that means they have at least begun processing my return. The Return transcript is only available when they are done processing and have approved a refund.

My Return transcript became available last year during the day, so there is still a chance we can access those today. Also, if we’re on a weekly schedule, which make sense since those accounts are updated on Saturday mornings, then tomorrow we should see some WMR movement.

Hey everyone… I filed on 1/19 and was accepted the same day with Tax Act and on the 27th got a DDD of 1/29. Last night at I received my refund at 11:35pm. Already been able to withdrawal money!!!! I don’t think filing early does anything except for delaying the refunds. Good luck guys!!

I would suggest every one who file with TT call them and find out your acceptance date. I filed the 10th. Received an acceptance email the 12th. When I called today TT told me they received sent my return on the 15th but it was not accepted until the 19th. Where as my TT app even give and accepted date of 12th. Some people are reporting when they call they get an accepted date of the 21st when TT said the were accepted in the early file batch. I realize that the IRS didnt technically accept anyone until the 19th, but dates in TT online and app are not correct. Their # 1-888-777-3066
