If the money shows up on the actual DD day, it will usually only showing “pending” for a very short time, minutes.
There are laws against this!
I feel unsafe!
:Pwhat is your source for the information? Is it based on some fact? Do you work for SBTG? You seem to be spouting off a lot of random info.
I answered this in your thread. Also, “random”?

Hutchinson. He is a CPA for the company.

It’s still the 26th. SB is working around the clock with all these. With hundreds of thousands of returns to process, things can slow down when you add in error checks, accuracy checks, redundancy, etc. It’s coming, just hang tight!
So how long after you see your routing number and account number will your deposit be in your bank?
1-24 hours
February 26, 2020 at 9:45 pm in reply to: If SBTG doesn’t show account number/routing number does that mean … #4383573It means that it is in line to be sent. It’s an automated process and SBTG is running pretty much around the clock right now. But, if what I’ve been told is true, (it does make sense) you won’t see anything until after the routing # update. Once you see that, your funds have been sent along the ACH pipeline.
Anybody get their return in MD?
WMR shows “STILL” processing? I suggest calling the IRS as there as been quite a few people here with the “STILL” processing message that have been hit with a delay of one kind or another.
And that stupid red/green circle has been in and out of my life more than my ex wife during…tax refund time…oh crap.
4:45… safe to say it wont be today ..huh?
DD’s are mostly automated, depending on how far into the process the money is.
DD’s go out pretty late, some banks like SB, round the clock during this season.Honestly I don’t think that little circle really matters. I’m thinking it’s solely based on if you see your acct# and routing #. Don’t quote me on that though lol
I just did! But you’re correct, from what I’ve seen/been told, updating with your routing info is the last step before you’ll see funds.
What does it mean if your green circle disappeared ??
Absolutely nothing. It appears, vanishes, forgets you exist, etc. It’s due to overwhelming server load. The pie chart fails to load, only partially loads, etc. Nothing to worry about.
I’m not in the loop. I thought the 4 day max was still the current law.
I’m by no means a financial guru, but don’t most of these banks receive the refunds into temporary accounts (if pending a future ACH date)? And can they even accrue interest in the relatively short, 1-2 day hold period? The funny thing is they charge you a 40 processing fee and still can’t get it processed. I will never so tt again!!!!
I’m willing to bet you had a 2/26 DD like the rest of us, correct?
.
You may have it even sooner. Just be patient.
Stupid voice chat I meant to say it’s 9 p.m. here now isn’t Santa Barbara Bank closed now so no more deposits right
Most of these are automated. They will be going 24/7.
Hey ogmin, did you happen to get an email from SBTG first or no?
It seems some people are getting an email hours ahead, about the incoming funds.
I received one last year, but not the one prior.its in my account
Did you get an email earlier? From TT or SBTPG? About incoming funds?
@Shay
If you had fees taken out or whatever was sending your refund had to have it sent by today per federal law. Hope this may help relieve a little stress. Apparently everywhere is way behind. They have 4 days before they have to disburse the funds to the person.
So if you don’t update with routing and account numbers does that mean you will not get a deposit ??
Well, kind of. It just means your still almost to the last step as far as SB is concerned.
Keep in mind that their website updates every 5-15 minutes. I know I shouldn’t be saying that, as it’ll create more server load on them, lol. But the routing number is the last “step”, so to speak. The issues with the website/phone are almost certainly due to glitches. From what I understand, as long as you, even once, saw your expected/received/paid amounts, you’re fine. Once it updates with your routing information, it’s 1-24 hours away.
For delay in my funding , causing me PTSD , I want interest and suffering damages . Who’s in with me?
You waited all year, never giving your tax return a second thought. Besides, it’s not even late yet.
Be patient guys. There is no law that states that a bank must post your return within 11.9 seconds of receipt.
Look into “Compliance with Regulation CC”.Also keep in mind that your bank isn’t only getting your return. Tens if not hundreds of thousands on top of normal transactions. Lots of room for issues to arise, glitches and errors, all things no one wants.
They also aren’t holding all this money for interest, lol. Think about that for a second.
.
That doesn’t mean the refund won’t just suddenly appear. The only reason your check shows up early is because either the money or a notification of the money was sent to your bank…the key here is…it’s sent with a disbursement date of your payday. If your DD is today, and the money hits your bank today, it should just appear. It could show pending for a short period of time first.
Hi guys ! Thanks for commenting on my thread! I just checked my status and I got the big green circle with a tiny red spot.. is this a sign of a deposit comming soon?
It does!
How are y’all even seeing all this extra stuff? When I go to the SBTPG website ask it tells me is amount and date paid. Other than that it ain’t telling me shit.
Your account may not have updated yet.
Also, if on a cell phone, you may need to scroll to the right.I am going to sue theses mothers , so bad .
…For what…exactly?
How often does SBTPG uodate and do they stop updating at a certain time or is it 24 hours? Im EST. NC
They update, I believe, every 5-15 minutes. It’s in that range. And 24/7.
No account info showing for me either. Is that required to indicate a deposit?
Kind of. It means that the final step on SB’s part is complete. The money has been sent, possibly in a queue, (all automated) on it’s way via ACH to your bank.
I called the number and it said there are no offsets. Could this be a case of slow updates and Monday, I call again and it shows up? I wish I knew more about the innerworkings of the IRS.
February 11, 2018 at 11:17 am in reply to: I can't help but hope I'll get my return soon despite PATH. #4213279@cricket no worries man. I should have left out the lance stuff, honestly. Most of us who have spent any time on here lately are well aware of what I was talking about.
I was just coming here to post about that, lol. I just checked TAP and it’s still claiming it has no information on my return. It may take time to show up. I’m not sure how TT gets notified that I was accepted. You would think that once TT gets the notification it’d be available on TAP at the same time.
February 9, 2018 at 10:50 pm in reply to: I can't help but hope I'll get my return soon despite PATH. #4211999Funny lance, some of that was written with you in mind.
I’m in the same boat. I filed on the same day and was accepted on the same day as you and am still at one bar.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I received my return and WMR still shows one bar. It’s happened to me three times before.
@Missyyyy: You’re welcome! I filed on the 27th using the free version of TurboTax. My federal was accepted on the 29th. Not sure if that helps any, probably not, lol.
I will say, in all the years I have filed, this is the longest it’s taken to see any movement with my NM return. Not sure why…
I have two friends who both filed without EITC or ACTC on the 29th who still have only one bar and aren’t able to get transcripts. You are in a crowded boat this year sir! I don’t know if it means anything or not, probably not. But maybe give them a call on Monday verifying they received your return? I know they will at least tell you that much.
Just thought I’d update that a few minutes ago my NM return was accepted.
I filed with the free edition of TT on 1/27!Just thought I’d update and say that my state was accepted a few minutes ago.
February 9, 2018 at 9:09 pm in reply to: Who still has this message? And when did you file? #4211917I’ve stopped obsessing over WMR, honestly, lol. I have no idea if I am updated daily, weekly or whatever other method the IRS uses. I just know that after I exhaust my daily limit for checking, it seems to reset between 7-9PM, Mountain Time. Now, if that reset means that it ALSO updates, I don’t know. I like to think so?
I’m generally so much more patient. It’s not knowing, damn it! :P
Damn lance. It seems like you come lurking into every thread looking for some excuse to belittle, berate or otherwise be an ass to someone. Why?
I don’t believe that there are people here actively trying to convince people of various things just to troll them. Not that it can’t happen or that it hasn’t happened here before, I just don’t believe it is happening in the instances you comment on.
Again, why?
I would love to believe you and that you’re crusading against misinformation and protecting your fellow refund seekers from getting their hopes up…bbutttt, nah. There are so many other ways to go about helping keep the facts…the facts. But nope. You choose to talk down to people.
I can’t believe I just wasted whatever energy the above keystrokes cost me…on this.
Shrug.February 9, 2018 at 8:28 pm in reply to: Who still has this message? And when did you file? #4211901Same here. I filed on the 27th, accepted on the 29th and have been stuck at the same message since. I claimed EITC so I had expected to have updated to the PATH message by now.
That irrational part of my brain wants to believe that even though I did claim a credit that would cause my return to be delayed, it won’t be delayed since I haven’t been given the PATH message!!But I know, I know. The fact that I still have that canned/stock style message instead of the PATH message, means nothing. It’s more than likely I’ll get my refund sometime after the 15th. Hell, it’s also likely that’ll I get a deposit in my bank and WMR will still say the same thing. It’s happened to me on three different years!
February 7, 2018 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Please read! You guys are stressing for absolutely NOTHING! #4209010Belle – The credits would not have mattered for a 2015 return. PATH was not being utilized yet.
@carl Here is a more recent one: http://www.cpapracticeadvisor.com/news/12395780/2018-irs-income-tax-refunds-could-be-delayed-by-government-shutdown
Nope. nothing! Still Pending…
@Leah Completely agree about the kids. I built them each (2) their own “box fort” and every few seconds one of them was coming in here telling me that the other one was doing <insert any combination of four point two million things kids do to eachother>…
Eight hours later… \:P
Audit protection, hmmm. Yeah, that seems worth the little bit of money. Definitely worth it for the piece of mind, yes!
And nope, the free version does NOT auto input previous years. You have to do it manually.
It only lets you look at previous years AGI…@Leah Ohhh. I had no idea. That never crossed my mind. I figured it offered them some other benefits or some such.
@Jessica
From what I’ve seen on here as well as my own experience with DD dates, it can often come a day early, sometimes even sooner. Since you filed a basic return, I would expect your money ON that date that way if it comes early, SURPRISE! :pThis message does NOT mean a delay or any of the things everyone here is saying.
It’s a default “we’re working on your return” message. Nothing else.
Yes, same.
Same boat. I almost always receive my state within a week of my federal. Generally it’s after..
But of course, TAP has no record of my filing. This state….
Exact same boat as you.
Ladybug: How I wish that were the case! But alas, I believe you are mistaken.
It’s either or, not and, sadly. -
