I received a 12C letter and it’s been 5 weeks since I faxed the requested documents and not a single update.

How do I know if my refund is being direct deposited or if a check is being mailed? I received a 846 code for 9/1/21.

So ridiculous! Praying our refunds come sooner than 8 weeks from April 1st.
Has anyone been told you have to wait another 8 weeks once it comes out of the errors department? This is week 10 since I filed and I still don’t have a DDD. Every time I call I get nowhere, they either transfer me, hang up, and most recently told I was I had to wait the additional 8 weeks for a total of 18. They are ALWAYS very rude. All I can say if as a former government SSA employee I never treated anyone the way the IRS reps treat people. It’s disgusting how rude they are.
I called yesterday and was told I have to wait up 8 more weeks after already waiting almost 10 weeks. No letters. They won’t tell me what the error was. I filed 2/12 and was accepted 2/13. This is crazy. I don’t have a complicated tax return.
Hi! I filed 2/12 and accepted 2/13. Cycle code 20211135. So confused. I was told my return was in the errors department but since last week (week 8) it was released and my transcripts updated but still haven’t gotten a DDD. Anyone else? How do I know what day my transcripts update? Thank you!
Anyone get their refund? I was told wait 10 weeks and I have no idea why it’s even in review. I have a basic tax return.
