Just checked and transcripts are updated with 846 refund issued for 3/13… refund dust to everyone I think you are going to be getting good news
Still no movement… frustrating to see movement on returns submitted and accepted after 2/22 and none for us yet :(
Depends on your bank. Most process tax refunds as soon as they get the transaction… if they sent it late on march first most likely see it Monday
Filed and excepted 2/22. No real updates yet but I’m fairly optimistic. Seems this year things are being processed very quickly. Many others seem to be taking slightly under 2 weeks and getting deposits before anything ever updates
Man if only the feds would be as efficient as NM. Everything about this state SCREAMS you’re gonna be waiting a long time for that state refund. But damn if it’s not the fastes turnaround of anyplace I’ve ever lived. And each year it seems to get better. This year I filed online on 2/1 and had my refund on 2/5!
Got a 12C as well. Been 4 weeks since I faxed the requested documents and I haven’t seen any progress either. Quite frankly the fact that I even got a 12C letter was infuriating because my taxes are very simple and have been the same for years now. The fact that I got the letter means that someone had absolutely zero idea what they were doing and now I’m stuck waiting because of THEIR incompetence
Filed and accepted 1/26 both Federal and state of New Mexico. Still one bar on wmr as of today and absolutely nothing in transcripts yet. NM, however, is ridiculously fast with tax refund processing. Filed on 1/26 and had my refund deposited on 1/28
I’m pretty much in the same boat… sent in injured spouse after e-filing because refund was offset. mailed in in the very first week of Feb, transcript says received 2/19, and not a single update since… it’s very frustrating
February 9, 2019 at 7:59 pm in reply to: 203 Code – Not showing on Transcripts, though. Help?! #4264181Looks like I’m in the same boat. I thought I was getting a refund but had the 203 topic. I don’t owe anything but my spouse has a defaulted loan from before our marriage and they offset my entire refund! Now I have to file injured spouse to get back what they knew damn well they weren’t entitled to in the first place
Filed 1/30
Accepted 1/30
WMR still only 1 bar with code 152, however my transcripts were available this morning and show code 846 with a date of 2/13looks like my transcripts finally updated this morning… return transcript shows code 846 with a date of 2/13
An update for me. WMR still doesn’t show anything, but, my 2018 return transcripts are finally available and they show a refund with a processing date of 2/13. So looks like I’m set to get my DD next week. I seem to remember last year for whatever reason WMR taking a long time to show anything but my transcripts showing me what was going on sooner.
Checked WMR this morning and no movement yet. However, checked transcripts and they are finally available and show a processing date with code 846 of 2/13. Based on my experience last year that is my DDD…. Also, I seem to remember that last year for whatever reason WMR was very very late in updating but looks like I should be set for a refund next week .. woot!!
I’ve used Free Tax USA the last several years and have had zero issues. Usually accepted within a few hours of filing and generally get my refund in 3 weeks or less. Keeping my fingers crossed that it goes that way again this year haha
same for me… filed using FreeTaxUSA on 1/30 and accepted about an hour later. Still no updates on WMR and nothing in transcripts yet. I’m hoping that there will be some movement in the next day or two
February 4, 2019 at 11:01 am in reply to: New Mexico residents news here about state refunds #4257198That’s actually never been my experience. NM has always been very fast for me. This year I filed on 1/30 and just got my DD this morning
As expected when I last posted, woke up this AM to a DDD of 2/14
An update to my situation. Checked today and still no path message and still same refund is being processed message. However, today my online transcripts were finally available. I checked those against last years transcripts and deposit date and that indicates to me that I should be seeing a DD on 2/14
I filed/and was accepted on 1/29. DD just hit my account this morning.
I used the state website to file. If any of you are still waiting and used the state website then check to make sure they haven’t sent you a letter because I got one requiring ID verification, but because I checked the website daily I was able to see that and respond online immediately with what they requested. If you didn’t use the state website and are still waiting then I suggest keeping an eye on the mail as you may be required to do ID verification.
Filed 1/29
Accepted 1/29
Had one bar until this morning… now no bars, refund amount is gone and it says “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available”Seems crazy, but that’s probably a good sign no? Or am I just too optimistic?
By the way, my state tax return (NM) is scheduled to be deposited on Friday… I usually get both of them close to the same time
Just checked this morning. Finally… refund approved… DDD 2/15/2017!
I decided to do the same and check my account transcript from last year as well. My 846 refund date last year said 3/7/2016. I got my DD last year on 2/24/2016.
This year the 846 refund date is 2/27/2017. I’m hoping this is in line with how things went last year and I’ll be seeing some money next week… keeping my fingers crossed
Still have only one bar and no DDD. However, I was able to finally order a transcript and view it online. Transcript indicates 2/27 as the date for the refund. So, we’ll see how accurate that turns out to be.
Filed and accepted 1/30/2017…. No EITC/ACTC…. still one bar… :(
An update on my situation. So, for the last couple of weeks I was in the status where my bars had disappeared, as well as my refund amount and just had Tax Topic 152. Well, on Thursday suddenly my refund amount reappeared. And, as of this morning my bars are back, refund accepted and a DDD of 2/24. For whatever reason things are taking longer than normal this year. If I had to guess I would think that all the new fraud measures in place this year, coupled with server issues, etc. is simply slowing things down. I’m also fairly certain that my return got some extra review. Hang in there everyone still waiting.
Filed and accepted on 1/30, still nothing. Nothing on WMR except message that it’s still processing and a refund date will be provided, and tax topic 152… absolutely useless. Last year I filed and was accepted on 1/26, and got my refund DD on 2/5… what gives this year?????
