@wade123 Where are you seeing that? I’m only able to check the state’s version of wmr so all I see are the bars. Or this on your tax prep site? If so, I haven’t seen anything like that there.
@wade123 My return *just* got accepted yesterday. So now we play the waiting game for who knows how long to get approved.
@nemesis-enforcer they must have done a mass update on a lot of us today, that’s my ddd date as well!
Once again, no update for me. Stuck like this for 4 weeks now. The as of date for the 971 didn’t change though, it’s still at 3/04, so I’m hoping maybe that means something?

@PatientlyWaiting I just checked my wages transcript and it says the same thing! When those were first available, I could have sworn that info on there from what I remember and now it’s gone.
ok so my husband finally made an id.me account and HE got the notice online. however, it’s just them saying that they need extra time to go over our return and it needs further review. says nothing about id verify, no questions to answer or anything. also give the “it could take 60 days” nonsense to complete the process. so i’m not really sure what i can do at this point other than wait.
No letter, no notice online, nothing. It’s been almost four weeks. I can see the 14 digit number under code 150, which people are saying is the control # so maybe I should just call.
Assuming I get a letter next week, does the person who is listed first on the return need to be the one to verify if that’s what the issue is or does it not matter? I ask because I am more than willing and able to call and sit on hold for hours because I have time but my husband unfortunately does not because he’s working constantly and he really doesn’t have the time to do so.
No updates today. Been stuck in the 570/971 status for three weeks now. The dates haven’t changed, though. 971 still says 03/04/24 so I’m waiting on this stupid letter and hoping something moves along at some point. I’m getting so freakin’ frustrated
No letter in the mail today. I honestly don’t think I’m gonna get one at this point, I think it’s just that my return was randomly selected for review (that’s what I’m gonna keep telling myself) and I’m praying I see 846 on my transcripts on Friday.
Travishon you got 971 first then 570 then another 971? wondering (more like hoping) if this will be the case for those of us who just got 570 then 971 🤞🏼
@tgs2024 good theory. i’ve had a similar amount owed to me in the past though and had no hold up. but, you know, different year different rules haha
Woke up this morning with no update to transcripts (570 two weeks ago, 971 last week), still no letter from the IRS from what I can see in Informed Delivery and no notice online either. Becoming more and more frustrated. I’m holding on to a sliver of hope by reading what some of you have said about it eventually fixing itself.
@photodude416 exact same dates as me. I haven’t called yet so I don’t know of the notice is the same as yours, though.
My husband’s theory is that because we didn’t qualify for EIC for the past few years and now we do, that’s why they’re holding this up and need more info but I don’t know/think there’s any truth behind that.
@Elizabeth that’s what happened with us but the thing is our tax situation this year is practically identical to what it was in 2018. Husband switched jobs, took out some 401k money, we had a baby. And everything was easy breezy, or as easy as it can be lol. I really can’t think of anything that would cause this.

Been stuck on the second bar for almost two weeks, I’m getting frustrated
@Sara It’s been like this for the past couple of years. Snail mail is definitely not more secure than direct deposit. Especially where I live. We’ve had our mailboxes broken into twice in the last year, so it’s certainly worrisome. Did it take forever for DoR to even recognise your return? For almost two weeks after filing, it kept saying my return hadn’t been filed or they couldn’t find it. I don’t know what’s going on with them.
@jbinsoco I just checked DoR this morning to see if any movement was happening and it was approved and sent, should be here by next week.
@JBinSOCO So they’re mailing checks again this year? Great. I’m glad they let us know that.
@JBinSOCO I haven’t seen anything for over 10 days (excluding weekends), so I’m a little PO’d about this.
