I’m in California and I have never had a DD post before 3am. Its only 12 here. I wonder where people are located that are seeing deposits and if it is 3am there?
Paid fees up front. Wells fargo released my state return 2 days early so it’s very possible.
Me 2. California. I dont think it will update at 12 exactly. It might though. Fingers crossed

DDD Set for 2/23 got it today at 8:21pm
I filed on 1/21/17 accepted on 1/23/17, I claimed all of the taboo credits this year, HOH, EIC, ACTC that caused the path message and delays. On 2/18/17 message changed to approved with ddd of 2/23/17. Checked the state and it changed from 3 month delay to approved. Dont know what happened or if it was just a coincidence they both changed on the same day.
Yea i had that message. I had the path act on my federal and the 3 month message on my state. When my federal was approved so was my state at the same time. I dont know how it works exactly but that is what happened to me.

I went through this last year, they did a manual review and released my tax refund in April. You will have to wait to receive a letter from the IRS, you may need to confirm your identity or you may have been selected for review. I know this sucks as it takes time to complete, but it isn’t anything you need to worry about. Like Renae said it doesn’t mean something is wrong if you are selected for review, sometimes its just random. Hope this helps and good luck
That happened to me last year. Usually it means they need something further from you like i.d verification or they have selected you for audit. You will have to wait for a letter or call at 21 days to be sure. Mine resolved itself after 2 months, hope that gives you some insight. Probably not what you wanted to hear.
In the same boat as everyone that is posting. I filed the 27th and got an email stating that it was accepted on the 27th. Called in to find out that I was not accepted until the 29th and I should continue to check WMR the following week as I have not even begun the processing phase. Awesome, there system seems to have absolutely no logic behind it. People I know filed the day before me and have spent almost every dime of their refunds that they received a week ago. I filed a day later and dont even have a ddd. I love how insane the system is. The IRS obviously lies through their teeth just to get us off the phone, but if we did something like that to them or told them to call us back in 21 days and we will see where we stand with their money then, OMG I would be calling family members for bail. I am beyond angry with how little info we get when we ask where our money is or what the problem is. I really hate the IRS. They suck.
In the very same boat, I filed on the 27. The irs says that they didnt get it until the 29 although TT says accepted on the 27th. I was able to check wmr on the 28th so maybe they didnt read it right. No movement, same as everyone else. One bar, no return transcripts and when I was lucky enough to talk to someone at the irs she said just keep checking wmr and I should see a update in a week. WOW! Really gotta love the IRS. I have seen people that have filed WAY after me end up getting their refunds a while ago. I just want a DDD, so I can relax. This seriously sucks.
