My DDD was 4/7 and it is showing pending in my Credit Union account! Wont be fully posted until Friday, but at least its there. Thank god!
@ Natasha-Thank you. I was updated with a DDD last Friday for this coming Friday the 5th. I have no letter as to why it was adjusted or no notification my refund was approved. Hopefully the way things have gone this does not hold up anything.
Just a couple of questions for those of you that are receiving DD this week:
1) did you get an email from the online account stating when your refund was approved? Mine was adjusted and I have no approval message or letter in my online account (My DD is Friday) Just wondering if those came before the deposit, and when?
2) Does the DD ever show early by chance?
@ Natasha-Thank you for being so helpful. This is my first year filing with NYS so I know I have had a lot of questions. They only adjusted it by $60.00 so nothing major considering. They could not tell me why because the letter has not generated yet. I am sure I will see that in like a month LOL.
@ Sharon, I am so sorry you are still stuck there, I know that is frustrating! Crossing fingers you will hear something soon!So the good news is I now have a DDD date after almost 2 months of dealing with this. Now I have this message:
We processed your return and adjusted the refund amount that you claimed. You will receive correspondence explaining the adjustment. A direct deposit of your refund is scheduled to be issued on (APRIL 07, 2017). If your refund is not credited to your account within 15 days of this date, check with your bank to find out if it has been receivedDoes anyone know if I call to find out the actual amount if they will tell me anything? When I went to check status I put in my original amount. I don’t get it!
Just checking to see if anyone has an update? I have been on the your return has been received message for 2 weeks now, from before of the 30 day correspondence message. From what I can see on here and the Facebook group the message lasts about 2 weeks before you get a DDD. So 2 weeks would be today for me, and I still have nothing….:(
@ Natasha That’s awesome!!! Finally! Hopefully I am not too far behind you! I have checked all day because I had a feeling but nothing as of yet…..
@ Natasha and 30 day correspondence group- So I called this morning and found out that when your status changes from “30 day correspondence” to return is being processed” means that they are done reviewing your W2 information. They have completed the W2 review on my return and just waiting for a DDD date. The gal I talked to said I should see something within 2 weeks…..this is taking forever. At least its some progress.
@Natasha-That’s good news! at least it is something. Hopefully I will update soon too then. I am just sick of calling cuz they are not helpful

Anyone in the “30 day correspondence” group have any updates? I uploaded my W2 info on 3/6 and it has stated as of 3/17 that my return has been received and is being processed. I am not understanding what is taking so long…looking at 2 months since I filed.
Attn. 30 day correspondence group. I just checked my status and it now says:
We have received your return and it is being processed. No further information is available at this time.
At least its movement!Ant one in the 30 day correspondence club have an update? I uploaded my W2 on the 6th and still have the same message. I even tried to call this morning and got hung up on because of high call volume?? Does anyone know how to tell when your documents have been “accepted”?

@ Sharon and @ 30 day correspondence club- I uploaded my info yesterday. No change. I think I would die of shock if it was updated that quickly LOL. Does any one know if they just change your status? or if they upload something else into your online account when the review is done? I am really hoping its not going to take 90 days as said on the letter.
For those of you waiting on a 30 day letter- I just received a notification that my letter was in my online account. They want copies of w2 for income taxes withheld. Will be uploading today!
I called this morning as well asking about my 30 day letter. They were able to tell me they just need proof of taxes withheld i.e. W2, 401k distribution, unemployment etc., etc. I did find out that they allow 15 days to mail out the magic letter, so we should have it next week? The girl I talked to also said its rare to see the letter online before It gets mailed….I am not sure what to believe.
I am still waiting for my 30 day letter to show up online…will be a week tomorrow since I got that message.
This may be a stupid question, but what is the difference between the audit message and 30 day message? essentially isn’t it the same thing? providing proof of something? Or is it different because of the amount of information you need to supply? I still have no notice in my online account. Wish they would hurry up and tell me what they need!
@ Natasha-the just told me to count 30 days from when the message of the letter appeared which was 2/21. The could not however give me a time frame on when I would get the letter.
@ Sharon- I agree they need a better way of doing things. I can not believe they can post a message like that and have no info on it or what its for. ridiculous.@Jenniferctaylor- I am right there with you. I have never had this problem with any state before, until I moved here and this is my first year filing. My message as of 2/21 was the 30 day letter. Thank you for the info on the letter uploading to the online account. Here is another ? So on the website it states that if no refund is issued within 45 days they will pay interest….so if they are holding my refund because of the 30 day letter-will they pay interest on it? My letter date was 2/21 and 45 days from filing would be 3/15…..
@jcorderotaylor-thank u. Like I said this first time filing with NY so I’m unsure about thier processes. Do u know how long it takes to process what ever info they need?
@Natasha and @ Sharon- so how is it they can post that message and not tell u what the notice is? Ridiculous!! I just called and they gave me no information!!! They said if I don’t get a letter by 3/21 then call back 😡😡😡
@Sharon- I’m just not understanding what is going on! This is my first year filing NY since moving here so I wonder if that has something to do with it? Has anyone else had this message and it changed to a DDD???
Ok went from may require further review to your return is processing now to this:
Your return has completed processing. You will receive correspondence about your return within 30 days.
What does this mean???? Ugh!@Natasha-I just checked too and same thing…hopefully that means good news
No update for me…still stuck on this message:

No further information is available at this time.”Has anyone that received an adjusted refund, or 90 day letter or even an audit receive this message first? trying to make some sort of sense of their dumb process.
Seems like they are telling us different things…when I called they told me they have 30 days and if I don’t see a refund or letter to call back 30 days from file date.
Still stuck at “may require further review” message. Hoping and praying for an update today!!! Filed 1/28

@Jenniferctaylor/ they told me yesterday when I called to call back 30 days from file date if no letter or refund! Ugh!
I am starting to lose hope! I am still stuck at may require further review…we are at 21 days now since I filed. Ridiculous! Every time I try and call they just keep telling me what the website says. Have not received any letters or anything either.
@ Bri and Jax-same for me I called the other day and they told me that “they see what we see” and if I don’t see anything for 30 days then to call back……I think they just say that to get us off the phone.

@ msamysue-I am unsure if it has anything to do with federal-I had none of those credits and got my federal last week.
Hoping for movement today! I am still stuck at “may require further review” today makes 19 days-filed on 1/27 accepted on 1/28.
Question for those who have received a DDD-did you all register for an online account and get an email when your refund was approved? or do you just check status?@ Jason-Well the 28th will be a month. I am really hoping its not going to take that long! @ Elizah…also hoping for good news tomorrow…or even this week would be good…looking at 18 days now.
@Yd..I am still showing “my return may require further review. no info available” Filed 1/27 accepted on 1/28. I even called to see if there was an issue and those people were very vague, just like the status message LOL.
This is so frustrating! Mine still says may require further processing and may take longer than federal. I did have the maintenance message this morning, but now nothing. I was accepted 1/28.
So weird! I didn’t get the maintenance message all weekend and woke up this morning and now it’s posted the site is down for maintenance….anyone else???

I find it very odd some people were not able to access the system over the weekend. I did not have any problems checking status…however I am still stuck on the same message….it may take longer to process than federal. I just wish something would update! This will be 17 days already…….accepted on the 28th
The site has been working for me all day. Are u guys talking about logging in? Or just check status?

No PATH message for me…in fact I get my federal tomorrow.

Has been approved with a DDD of 2/8My federal is being processed still. Accepted on 1/28. However I am hoping to be in the “big update” tonight into tomorrow lol. I’m not sure what federal has to do with State. I also had to file with California for part of the year and already got that yesterday
