okay nevermind. so….i did some digging and its not supposed to mention MAYBE needing to adjust the amount. to @Kricket. You most likely owe SOMETHING. Sorry. Last year we did, because i owed something from a student loan from yearssss ago. We all have at least one debt or one unpaid something that eventually catches up sometimes.
@kricket. i used WRM irs website. havent checked the tool. idk…maybe its different on there.
i mean if you just read a few posts you will know they most certainly do. mine updated today. i have 2 bars and a DDD .
I also have 2 bars , at last! :) nice!
mine has 2 bars as of today. and i dont care if someone thinks im lying, ill still have my money. and i want everyone to get theirs too lol

My refund is approved with a 2nd bar and it doesnt mention debts or offsets at all. So i can only assume , since yours does, it means something is owed. But i also know less than others here.
@kricket yes, if you owe, it will tell you. you may have forgotten some sort of debt you have for a while. but if you can get a person on the phone at IRS after its reached refund sent status, they may be able to tell you the exact matter they took money from you for.

I dont know what pather is, so im 99% sure thats not me. and we didnt have any additional credits. just dependents. filed 1/27/ im happy , at last!
Yes, it finally updated. Starting to think it wasnt a matter of something being wrong, just a matter of impatience. They update once a week , i think, and last week it just wasnt approved yet. Now i have 2 bars! Going to learn to chillax net tax season lol. I wont be as broke that time , so i wont be so overly anxious :]
how does someone know if they are weekly or daily?
Guys…She updated to say that she DID in fact owe. She was repaying a loan or something, but they took the entire amount this time.
Where do you get it? WMR? Still on 1 bar for us, and we filed on Jan27th. Its disrespectful honestly.

where does it show when your refund was accepted? on transcripts?

Yeah they need to work some sort of method into the madness. I have a suspicion that lower income people and people with smaller returns ,get their money sooner. And they hold larger refunds for review for longer. People who paid a lot in shouldnt be penalized.
nice to know ! ive given up on expecting my $$$ anytime soon , since WMR just isnt updating and now im just patiently awaiting 3/5 , because thats when we hit the 21 day mark. They didnt start processing refunds until 2/12. early filers got put into the same pile as everyone else this year. we filed on 1/27
Im going to buy a new phone. I dont have one right now. And i need to buy winter appropriate clothes for my family. Other than that?…..not much else.

Ive seen where many said they didnt advance past one bar and still got their deposit. So, i dont think WMR is reliable. This year , filing early didnt count for a hill of beans since they started accepting them all on 2/12.
