Fees from refund and then going to my emerald card. Never used this one before so I’m unsure but a quick search estimates it to show up sometime tomorrow night (2-26) BUT they switched to Axos this year so who knows? Can’t find a way to check through Axos website, and my Emerald Card / HR Block online account doesn’t even show I’ve been approved yet, so they are obviously late to the game. Hoping for tomorrow night. Strange though I’ve seen people asking about Axos updates and never seem to get any replies. Guess no one knows?
Axos / H&R?
Mine is going through Republic. They show it being received as of 7 am this morning and supposedly sent it to netspend. Nothing yet. Expecting it to show up around 6 pm is my best guess based on searching past info on here.

@Patty: it did. Change is reflected on my transcripts also.
@Amber: I’m trying to stay positive and brush her off as another rep who hates their job. I am not even sure she was looking at my account. Just reading me a script being a negative nancy. I can’t view my transcripts online so I am just hoping for some change tomorrow morning.
@Hannah: I’m not sure but I think they will just adjust it on their end and mail you a letter. I was worried too because it was a complicated form but in reality I’m pretty sure a computer does the actual processing so it will catch an error and they will correct it for you.
@Patty: I’m not sure that’s necessarily true for everyone. I can’t login with my new updated amount, says it can’t find me. Still pulls up under my original amount and I’ve been told the hold has been released on my account so I don’t know if that applies to everyone.
Well I called this morning to see if I could get a DDD since I was told twice now that an “action to release the hold” had been done on my account and I now regret calling. The stupid B rep dashed all hope I had. She told me it takes 2 weeks from when the do that “action” for it to actually release. She then said she can’t see when the action was done so she has no idea. Wow. I was positive I’d update tomorrow and now I just don’t know. Faxed mine 2-10. WTH.
@Krissy: Its looking like a pattern of 2-3 weeks after you fax. I faxed mine on 2-10. Got confirmation last Wed (2-21) that they had finished processing the 8962 form, but my return was still being processed. Been told that same thing until yesterday, when a rep said someone had “put an action on my account to remove the hold”.
Ok so all my fellow 8962’ers – I called again this morning and was told by a 2nd rep that “an action to release the hold” on my account was done yesterday. Said it takes a cpl days to post and I should see an update on WMR Sat. as approved. Since this is the 2nd rep to tell me this, I’m going to accept is as truth. Hoping to see good news from others here too.
@Patty: That’s crap they won’t even verify they got your fax. I’d call a TA and just tell them you’re getting the runaround and just want to know the fax was received. They may just pull it up and tell you.
@Trena: I have to say, he definitely sounded legit and it’s the first time I haven’t been told “it’s still processing, give it 6 weeks”. I really hope so. I saw someone today on the main feed post they have a 3/6 DDD and got their money today! If that’s true, then they are already sending out money for DDD’s of next week so now I’m stalking republic bank lol.
Ok so I broke down and called too. Haven’t called in a few days. The guy gave me good news. He said he could see an action to remove the hold and release my refund. He couldn’t tell me an exact DDD but said I should be seeing it within the next week. Damn I hope he was telling me the truth. Sounded legit like he knew what he was talking about so I sure hope so.
@Trena: that sounds promising. I wish I could get a rep to tell me something other than wait 6 weeks. What was your timeline?

So I have an interesting theory – I was just talking to someone on the main feed who also had to fax her 1095A and 8962. Apparently, she faxed hers the same day as me (2/10). She updated this weekend to a ddd of 3/1 – I’m still in limbo. She pointed out to me that she called the number on the letter and they id verified her. I did not call the number on the letter, and instead have been calling the regular number for a regular old incompetent rep. I called several times last week and not once did anyone say anything about ID verify, and I never thought I’d need to because I’ve never had id theft issues at all. Well, when I called the last time, last Friday, I asked for my transcripts after she told me it wasn’t finished processing. She then asked me several questions relating to my dependent’s, their ss #’s, etc. – more than any rep has ever asked me and she never said it was id verify but it sure sounds like it was to me. Just a theory but maybe that was why she got a ddd so fast and I haven’t yet? Worth trying I guess?
@tootiredofwaiting: I was honest, the first guy who answered the phone asked how he could help and I told him I had received the letter and faxed my stuff in and I was getting the run around from reps not giving me consistent information. He didn’t look into my return but gave me an honest answer and said he could only guesstimate a time frame of processing based on the past years, but it was too early at that point in the tax season for him to have any current year information on how fast they were actually processing these particular forms.
He was very nice and honest. I didn’t press for any other information at that point because I had honestly only faxed my papers a few days before at that point, but I felt like if I did he would have helped further. I haven’t bothered calling again…. yet……
@Patty: Any new updates? I would call back – the least they can do is verify they received your fax. That’s BS. If you don’t get anywhere, call a TA. They can look into it and tell you that information at least. I called and got some general information from them, no strings attached and the guy sounded like a decent human being.
@KEA: Lost my tt almost immediately after faxing in my papers on 2/10. Finally came back last Wednesday, 2/21. Still sitting here waiting, no change since. My amount is gone, not sure when it disappeared but as of now it hasn’t come back. I know they are done with mine. Forced them to fax my transcripts last Friday after being told my 8962 was done processing but my return wasn’t finished. Got them about 2 minutes later and they are all filled out, numbers, new amount after the 8962 gave me a small additional credit, all good codes and they 570 hold code everyone else in limbo is talking about right now. I just don’t know. Saw someone who faxed 2 days after me get a DDD on Saturday morning I think :(
Still nothing this morning :(… it’s been 2 weeks since I faxed. Still getting the “I can’t tell you anything, it’s still being processed” bs from reps too, which makes no sense. Transcripts looked complete to me when they faxed them this past Friday morning, including the 570 hold code everyone else seems to have. SMH at this point. No clue if I’m weekly, daily, or if that even matters this year. The lady this morning tried to give me the 6 week crap and I shut her down quickly. I’m going to be homeless before I get my money at this point. I wish I would have never had the stupid marketplace insurance for those whole 2 months. Not worth this headache.
On a side note – someone yesterday told me to check WMR using my new, adjusted amount from the 8962 (I know the amount because the IRS confirmed for me last week they were finished with the 8962 and told me the new amount, I ended up with a tiny bit more money). I tried but it said I entered my info wrong. Still pulling up with my original amount so IDK if this has any bearing or not. Also, someone else said one day WMR couldn’t pull them up and then all of sudden it found them and they had a DDD. I just don’t know at this point. I’m so FRUSTRATED!
Omg, people who faxed after me are getting ddd’s and I’m still stuck with nothing?! Wtf?!!!
Well, no update for me last night. Still stuck on processing :( so disappointed!!!
@Trena: YW! I felt really alone the past few weeks until I started seeing others with my issue. Glad to have a timeframe to refer to now. Someone posted this morning they updated to a DDD today and they had the same issues with the 8962 & 1095A. I think they said they faxed theirs on 2-6, which was just a few days before me so there is hope!
@Monica: I’ve seen people on the main feed saying that but also others who shot it down saying it didn’t matter unless you’re self employed so I’m not sure if that is an indicator or not. I don’t understand why the reps keep telling me mine isn’t done processing but my transcripts look complete to me. All filled out with codes and I have the 570 hold code now.
@Natalie: 800-829-0582 x 652 – I get through everytime. Tell them you got a letter – never had a rep refuse to look after telling them I got a letter
Yes, I think TT152 reappears when they are finished processing the 8962. Reason I say that is because of my experience:
Had 1 bar – rec’d letter on 2/10, faxed 1095A & 8962 same day (2/10).
Lost bars on Sunday night 2/11 and TT152 was missing – generic “STILL being processed message”
TT152 showed back up this Wednesday, 2/21. IRS confirmed same day they had finished processing my 8962, but keep telling me (including this morning) that my return is still being processed.
This morning, after being told it’s still being processed, I demanded my transcripts be faxed to me and low and behold – it looks complete to me! It’s all filled out, I have all good codes and the 570 hold code. Looks like I’m just waiting to be pushed out to a DDD at this point. Hopefully it won’t sit another weekAny changes today for anyone here? Nothing yet for me. Called again this morning and “still not finished processing”… ugh! Still hoping for an update tomorrow morning but tbh not really feeling too positive today :(
@Sara: I only had marketplace coverage for the first 2 months in 2017 and they caught mine. My prepared didn’t bother asking me about insurance and I completely forgot about it. I’m thinking they will catch it and you will receive a letter soon. Consensus so far this year is it’s taking about a week and a half to process once it’s faxed in. Faxed mine 2/10, just finished processing it yesterday. Hoping for an update Saturday but no clue. Sorry, probably not what you want to hear :(
@tootiredofwaiting: Lost my tt152 almost immediately. Got the letter Saturday, 2/10, faxed same day, lost bars & the tt on Sunday night / Monday morning and they just reappeared. Maybe you not losing yours is a good sign? Hoping for an update for you on Saturday too!
Same to you Monica. I called this morning hoping they’d give me a date but the lady said although they did finish processing what I sent in the return isn’t finished. Since it’s only Thursday, I’m hoping it finishes up today / tomorrow to update Saturday. I filed so early this stupid form has got me waiting longer than I ever have
Finally goty tt1t2 back this morning. I’m takimg that as a good sign. Still hoping to update Sat. To approved
Oh and BTW – can’t view transcripts online so that’s no help for me at this point. Was told they would be blank because the 8962 isn’t finished processing yet.
I’m here with you. Received my letter & faxed my 8962 & 1095A on Saturday, 2/10. Lost my bars on Sunday night 2/11 with the generic “your return is still being processed” and I lost TT152. Still the same today, no changes, no updates, still missing TT152. Have called everyday looking for it to be finished and was told again this morning its “still processing” and said I had to wait 6 weeks! I know they give worse case scenarios but being in limbo for this long is killing me. Was hoping to see some movement this morning :(
