I got my update from Santa Barbara this morning. But I just want to let everyone know that last year I didn’t have an update till the day before my DD at 5:30PM. And I was checking it allllllllll day long. So just check through out the day. It will be there. And I wouldn’t take a SB rep’s word for it. Chances are you could call back and get a whole different answer from someone else.
Lol no problem. I’ll check on mine later on today. Last year mine arrived 3 days early and came in around 5:30pm. So maybe it will happen this year maybe not. Doesn’t matter it’s coming regardless
I’ve received mine early more than once. I’ve also received it about a day and a half late one year. So just because you’ve not experienced it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. It definitely has happened.
I filed and was accepted 2/15. I checked this morning and had a ddd of 2/23. It’s never ever happened this fast for me!!
Yes I’ve had 3 bars since 3/9. I just checked my bank account and my $$ is there!!! It’s been a stressful tax season! Glad it’s finally over!
My sbbt account didn’t update until 2pm Friday afternoon. The money still hasn’t hit my bank account. Probably won’t happen until Monday. I’ll never go through sbbt again this was ridiculous.
SBBT RECIEVED MY REFUND AROUND 2pm THIS AFTERNOON AS WELL!! It still hasn’t reached my bank account…but having absolute conformation now is a relief!! I still won’t ever go through sbbt again. I’ll pay my fees up front from here on out! Still wondering why this happened to us 3/9rs??
I called IRS again this morning and they told me again that it was sent on the 9th.
Well now turbotax has sent me a email demanding the fees that were suppose to be automatically taken out by sbbt…they’re giving me till 3/30 or they will automatically withdraw it from my account I listed…great! I’m in dire need of that refund as it is and now I need to pull $75 out my ass to pay the fees that are supposed to be deducted from my refund…I have absolutely had it!!!
Aviance that’s what they told me as well…..Im stressed out too. Hopefully we get some good news later today. The lady I spoke to from irs did tell me that it isn’t unusual for it to take a few days…she had experienced that with other people’s refund before…so Im hoping that’s the case
well…..I called sbbt this morning. They have no record of my refund. They gave me the same bs about if could take up to 5 business days to come through. I called irs again. Spoke to a very nice helpful woman, she said it shows my $ was sent. She said she tried to perform a trace, but it wouldn’t allow her to do so until the 15th. So if I don’t have my $ by then, I will need to call back to have them trace it to see if sbbt rejected it for some reason. So I wait……
Yup my sbbt hasn’t updated either. Have all three bars on wmr. I used the same service last year and recieved my refund on the day irs specified. I have no offsets or anything else that would cause a delay. My only hope is that once sbbt opens, maybe it will update. If not I will be calling up there!!
Well I got up at midnight just to check sbbt and still no sign of my $$. My wmr now has three bars…refund sent, status. I will never ever go through sbbt ever again. I’ll pay my fees up front next time!! Still waiting….
I just called irs and the told me as well that my refund definitely went out early morning hours…so it’s sbbt that’s the hold up! They need to shake a leg this is ridiculous!!

Boy I hope that’s the case!! I hope we both get a update later! I’ll post here when and if I do!!
@Aviance what state are you in? I wonder if the time zones have something to do with it. Im in Tx and I think SBBT is in Cali….either way I want my $$
Im in the same boat….my DDD date is today 3/9, and my $$ is suppose to go to Santa Barbara Bank first to have fee’s taken out, then deposited to my account. No trace of my $$ anywhere!!!
Well just wanted to give everyone the timeline on my situation…
1/27 filed and accepted using TT
2/11 or there about I lost my bars
2/16 call IRS to see wtf was going on. They told me they had sent a letter…I never received a letter. They said they would make note to have appropriate dept remail me the letter.
2/20 received letter
2/23 faxed over requested info
2/25 call to check status, was told to call back in 6 weeks
3/4 was FINALLY able to order return transcript
3/5 woke up to my bars with refund approved and DDD of 3/9!!!!!
GIMMIE MY $$$$ I GOT SPRING BREAK PLANS!!!!I filed and was accepted on 1/27 through TT. All the way up until this past Sunday I had one bar with 152 tax topic….Sunday morning my bar went away, but still has tax topic. I was able to order my Account transcripts on 2/5 and still can not order the return transcripts. My account transcripts came in the mail Saturday, and they are completely blank. There’s none of my information listed. This week on the 17th will be my 21 days. Nothing is happening…nothing is moving!!!!!!!
I woke up to find my transcripts are now available. I have a cycle code of 20150705. Its says refund issued 3/9/2015. But I do not believe I will have to wait till this date for my $$. I pulled up my transcript from last year. I received my refund on 2/12/14 and the refund date I had last year was 2/24/2014…..days after my refund was received.
all you guys that got you DDD today…did yall file with turbo tax?
I filed and was accepted on 2/6 with turbo tax. My first time using TT…(I always went through H&R before). Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. But Im still at one bar, no transcripts, nothing….Ive never had to wait this long!
