It said 3/9 but arrived 3/5, so it was mailed before that.
If you scroll down to Feb 2020 comments, you’ll see a bunch of us with that msg.
it’s not a guarantee it’s a check, but we see different wording when its a DD instead. It does mean its coming though. Good Luck:)
@idkwhattoputhere
That’s the msg I got last year when my return was mailed:
2/19/20 “was deposited via direct deposit”(AZDOR Canceled it)
2/24/20 “Process was….paper checks mail..DD 2 business days..” msg
3/9/20 “Your tax refund was mailed via paper check on 3/9/2020. If you have not received your check within 30 days, please Contact Us.
I came back to update on my DD.
It wasn’t pending earlier and then it was there at around 10a.
I bank with VWCU
DDD 2/24Oh no!
@happyusIn ’18, mine was accepted on 1/30, got another notification it was rejected a moment later. Then the next morning it was accepted.
It was weird. I didn’t have to do anything, TT fixed it on their end. I can imagine refiling it yourself is way more stressful.
Also, the Hold pattern for PATH throws Dailies into a Weekly pattern for the first week after the 15th, but something about the 2/12 start date this year both broke that pattern and seemingly scattered all predictability into the wind.
Good luck!!
yes you’re totally right about the days of the week, it’s the day your account posted to the Master File (IMF). The reason for a lot of 05s getting Wed DDDs is because 05 can be a Daily OR a Weekly.
Weeklys are processed once a week just as you wrote and Daily accts can be done on any of the other processing days and info updated when its done.
Mass transcripts update for daily accts Tues (now) and WMR on Weds I believe :)
I must admit,
@Andrew T caused me to run right back to WMR despite just coming from there. lolI still have 1 Bar, my DDD is for Thurs 2/25.
Posted Mon mid-morning without pending first.I bank with a credit union, but this was really early for them.
Good luck everyone!
My refund deposited Monday mid morning. No pending, checked at 8a, nothing.
Checked at noon, Refund posted and funds available in my account (CU).
My DDD was for 2/25(Thurs), also my State(AZ) finally approved just now and a DDD.
WMR is still at 1 Bar for both my husband and myself.
Donna, @happyus, did you ever get a DDD?
I’m not sure if anyone is still waiting,
but I will definitely update when my acct (VWCU) shows pending and when its avail :)
I finally got a DDD!!!
“Your tax refund was delivered via direct deposit on 2/24/2021.”
My Fed refund already deposited sometime between 9am and 12pm Monday, not seeing a pending deposit for you State yet.
Also no WMR update, still 1 Bar.
AZWMR is cycling from unable to locate to the “we received…check back in 2wks” msg. I’m not seeing anything pending on my acct.
Sorry, so late. I was gonna hold off until something worth updating came up.
I did get my Transcript DDD though, Sat (instead of Fri) for 2/25/21, No WMR update. I’m usually a weekly 05, I had an 0801.
2020 AZ didn’t give me a DDD until 24hrs before Fed updated Trans DDD.
Yay!!
Filed: 1/18
TT
Fees upfront,
EITC&ACTC
Accepted:
FED 2/10
AZ 2/14Transcripts finally updated at 2:40a (MST) its now 3:01a
Got a cycle: 0801, usually an 05/Weekly
Processing date: 3-15-2021
846: 2-25-2021
WMR hasn’t updated, still 1 bar.
State still not Approved/No DDD
Nothing Pending on CU (posts 3 days early, too soon)just updated at 2:40a MST
I’ve always been 05, usually 0605 in fact,
Got a cycle: 0801
Processing date: 3-15-2021
846: 2-25-2021What?? That’s weird
I’ll take it, but seriously, whaaaa?now I’m getting,
“We are unable to locate your tax return using the information you provided.
Please review the information. If it is incorrect click New Search.
We are experiencing a high volume of requests, please check back in two weeks.”,for both of us. I wonder if it’ll be like this until IRS updates us to “approved”.
I saw this last yr, but I’m not sure when the timing was in the whole process. Not concerned, just an update.
Filed Joint w TurboTax: 1/18
Paid fees up front this time
No Advance this year. Not after last year (see last year’s commnents).
Chose DD to my CU (VWCU)
Accepted:
Fed 2/10
AZ 2/14 (my ssn) & 2/19 (his ssn)No DDDs yet for either
I’m still happy for those getting DDDs but also, please take me with you! LOL
Have the “planned outtage” msg again, earlier it was gone and still had N/As, but now its back.
I’m not sure if it worth checking again.
feels like when you’ve been waiting with your kids forever, and the Mgr opens a new line,
you’re almost at the counter, your youngest has been eyeing Cashier dead in the face for like 3 mins, you badly want to squeeze in a box/can/anything onto the corner of the counter to claim your space. Soooo close to getting out of here…so surely she’s gonna call you over….
she picks the person behind you (been there 2mins) with like 1 bag of Takis and a WhiteClaw.
No major movement yet
But I did see his update to the same msg I’ve had forever. 2hrs ago his was still saying it hadn’t been received/no found. We filed joint
Same here.
Checked just now, view Transcripts option is back but still getting N/As.
I saw this last year, it lasted for a few hours for me before getting in at 9am MST. I’m sure it’s a combo of acct being processed and site traffic. Other people could get in, while a few had this msg. Hope some night owls are having better luck!
Congrats Laura!!
I just checked IRS account and got:
“Your Account is Unavailable at This Time
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we’re unable to retrieve your account information due to a service error. You can still make a payment using the buttons on this page.”At least we’ve avoided last year’s mega trolls. That was probably what’s kept ppl from coming back.
I’m trying not to feed trolls and keep it straight, I’m sorry if I made anyone uncomfortable.
My intention isn’t to make others uncomfortable, its just hard to make it light if i’m typing alot of dry info and flipping between tabs/topics/ and deep diving through tax years.
This year feels really different.Sorry Brett, out of Pokemon cards.
They keep giving me the ones with the blue pillow keychains. I can tape them together and make a neck pillow. lol.
Hope you really like the Movie Soul!@ultraclutch9 Yes, much better. I mean, as well as can be these days little guy is getting big!
I hope 2020 wasn’t a nightmare for you. You also had a fam too right?@Oh,thereyouare, I know what you mean. I feel like there’s less people here for each other and more of those who are just out for themselves. I think you mentioned you were “Target” last year. If so, I remember you for sure! If you’re not already gone, I wish you the very best.
Growing up, did you ever see that playground kid that kept licking the battery knowing it hurt the first time?
That’s not us. We’re the kid he convinced to also lick the battery, despite seeing what happened to the 1st kid.
I don’t know why I was hoping for an early Feb DDD. lol.
@ahha – I know, right?!
I’m like… don’t worry, AZ’s not IRS they’re always efficient and early, it won’t happen twice in a row….
Then there’s some new backwards announcement
(0)-(0)Then I think of last year’s Stimulus1.0/ IRS/AZDOR situation.
everything’s all flowered up. might as well smell those roses since there’s nothing else to do.
I just remembered I owe you a Happy Meal!
So where’s my McFlurry big guy??
any luck on WMR?
Sharksoup
I guess you don’t have to check WMR, thank you for the update!
I am seeing a lot of lucky duckies with Monday 2/22/21!!
I’ve always been a weekly (confirmed weekly) and usually fall in an 0605, but remember that not all 05s are weeklies. It’s not weird for an 05 to get a Monday DDD
if you’re not sure what that is: https://igotmyrefund.com/irs-update-cycle-for-transcripts-and-wmr/
Its not cool when we depend on each other for honest answers.
Its okay to have a theory or a guess or even a typo, just make sure that if it’s a theory its clear.I’m on here when I can be, or when I’m nursing my cutie.
@skittlesz27 if you’re not okay with replies or someone asking you to elaborate on a post.
Maybe a forum isn’t what you’re looking for.
whoa,
@skittlez27 ..no need for negativity. I just looked back at that topic,….AA514 still has not confirmed as a PATHer.
This forum stops being helpful and trustworthy when people get excited and start embellishing.
Nope.
I’ve checked throughout the day, not change.
Checked Banking App, no pending.Even called my Bank (VWCU) to check for pending transactions, nothing.
My bank usually posts 3 days ahead of DDDs. Even when there’s a Holiday.
Stimulus DDD was for 1-04 and I received it on 12-31!
Also checked my Transcript despite being a weekly and knowing better. No change there too.
I hope things are finally happening for you Jill, or at least will soon!
It was nice to actually laugh at myself out loud.
I think I need to get some more Zs. Good Luck!
I’m tired and going back and forth between the tax years to compare dates.
I have to admit, this post confused the hell out of me, lol!
I have family who are in the same boat. One filed in Nov(Paper Filed) the other filed around April (but had a bunch of issues cause someone claimed her daughter who shouldn’t have) who’s returns got tangled in the perfect storm that was IRS/USPS
Thanks for that! Yes, everyone, you can claim a dependent and not qualify for EITC nor ACTC. It could be the dependent doesn’t qualify or the Taxpayer themselves didn’t qualify.
AA514 Please double check your credits claimed if you’re not sure and get back to us, and congrats on your DDD!
Not counting them as a PATHer until confirmed, but I’m happy she has a DDD :)
I’d like to point out that the person who had a 2/18 DDD. never said they claimed EITC nor ACTC. The correct Topic is:” Tax refund pending as of 15 minutes ago “.
She simply said 1 Dependent….
…. that could be an adult (not permanently disabled), spouse, adult child (not disabled) or a child but they don’t qualify income wise or had too much money made in assets and dividends, or the taxpayer themselves is/are over 65….
**Correction** I meant from N/A to a clickable Tax Year of *2020*,
4. You don’t need to worry about “AS OF” Dates,
We can only speculate on “Processing Dates”.
For example some of us had a “Processing Date” for Mon 2/24/20 BUT….
their actual DDD was for WED 2/26/20 when Transcripts updated for a final time on SAT 2/22/20 !! It was stressful for those who thought it meant DDD.
So you may have updated but it does not mean a final update until you have an 846 code for FEB or MAR :)
2. What we really want is an 846 code but a FUTURE DATED DDD, not the 846 for the Stimulus money dated for early Jan.
3. 846 is refund issued, this is the field that gives your exact Direct Deposit Date (DDD)
ok, I looked at recommended link and found it unhelpful for a 1st timer looking at codes too.
answer to your ?s…
1. You’ll want the Account Transcript for an easier read BUT.. It’s only gonna have updated with the info you need until all the options (Record of Account, Account Transcript, Tax Return and Wage& Income Transcript) are avail AND NOT BLANK.
Although them going from N/A to a clickable 2021 does mean some movement on your acct :)
February 15, 2021 at 11:39 pm in reply to: Lost bars, lost 152, show amount and still processing #4453678The site as a whole had the “still processing” mostly figured out. After the DDDs of 2/26/20
most of the action trickled out by that following SAT 2/29/20.This year: PATH hold lifted 2/15/21, Final Step in Processing begins Thurs 2/18, Transcripts Update Friday Morning 2/19, WMR Update SAT 2/20 for DDDs of likely 2/24 and some for 2/22 :)
Let’s not freak out till 2/27, wishing everyone good luck!!
February 15, 2021 at 11:14 pm in reply to: Lost bars, lost 152, show amount and still processing #4453675Finally,
SAT morning 3am EST onward, WMR is updated on a massive scale and most us saw the corresponding Transcript DDD on WMR.. some stragglers saw WMR update Sun too.No more “Still Processing” only very few continued with an issue afterwards. Don’t stress out until after Sunday :)
P.S. It seemed non PATHers got re-sequenced with us that week, but I suspect they may have had EITC or similar and hadn’t realized it.
February 15, 2021 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Lost bars, lost 152, show amount and still processing #4453671After PATH lifted Sat 2/15/2020, people saw the PATH msg disappear (not all of had one though), and went from PATH msg or “Processing” msg to “Still Processing..” and maybe a topic 152 and $ back on side bar.
Next, that FRIDAY morning 2/21/20 3am EST: Transcripts updated overnight with $ amounts and 846s (mostly the for the following WED 2/26/20 but a few for MON 2/22). you’ll find on topic tread at 7:16am…..
February 15, 2021 at 10:53 pm in reply to: Lost bars, lost 152, show amount and still processing #4453668ok guys,
I saw this topic yesterday and have looked at past years to make sure I remembered correctly. Don’t worry, I won’t send you down the rabbit hole.In order to give you something to actually read, I’ll use last year’s 2020 tax year topic :“STILL PROCESSING vs PROCESSING.
That is how it was typed, so you can copy and paste. we’ll start on the 9th page (02/16/20)
E-filed:
TT 1/18
EITC+CTC
Fees paid upfrontI know PATH still releases 2/15, but man is that 2/12 date cutting it close to all the PATH deposits.
Now the other people will get a small taste of what young families deal with. I hope everyone has a smooth acceptance/DDD transition.I’m a weekly, so I know I’m looking at a release around Thurs 2/18 and a Deposit of Wed 2/24 at the very soonest, if all goes smoothly…because we all know everything is going sooo smoothly.
Hi Sasha, by forum did you mean the IRS website? Like your phone wasn’t letting you log into your tax acct? or this forum(IGMR)?
On IRS site, if you can see 2020 for all 4 options: record of acct, acct transcript, wage…, then there is movement in your acct. If it’s just the Account Transcript with the Stimulus codes for Jan, but not 766 codes for like 4/15/21 or 846 for Feb or Mar 2021, than its not updated for what you’re looking for just yet.
Now the 2/22/21 date is definitely interesting.
I’m super confident you’ll have an update this Friday Morning with the rest of your Transcript filled out. I wonder if other weeklies in the test batch have a chance at a Mon DDD instead of a Wed?
Congrats on the movement, please keep us posted. We are all curious to see how it develops. Next WMR major update is Wed and Sat. I don’t recommend pulling your transcripts too may times a week.
About the 290 code,
don’t worry. It had to do with the Stimulus codes and you’ll see them right under the 846 for your Deposit in early Jan.Mine was deposited Dec 31st but my 846 was for Jan 4th and some codes like the 766’s are dated on my transcript for 1/18/21 but were all deposited New Year’s Eve!
Yay! AZtaxes.gov finally updated to received for myself, but we filed joint so it still means our return was received.
msg: “The Arizona Department of Revenue has received your tax return.
Due to a high volume of returns at this time, please check back in two-to-four weeks.
If you submitted your tax return more than four weeks ago, please contact ADOR at…”I say “chose” loosely, cause who ever chooses an extra fee for..
the Advance fee
+ card/check fee on top of
the Prep fee and the rest of
the Refund check fee (if applicable) and
the “Bill it to my refund” fee…and don’t forget
the deluxe/max/mocha choca bull$h!t fee
unless you feel you HAVE TO.For the spare fool who gets suckered into the advance cause, you know, YOLO.
We live and we learn.@gofigure the rest of your refund goes to the method chosen for that Advance, TaxPrep companies usually make it so you don’t have a choice to change it (they make money on the fees for the Card/Paper Check fee).
I’m pretty sure since TaxPrep companies got a slap on the wrist for last year’s headache, there won’t be a huge headache for those who chose the Advance option again this year and later qual for Stimulus $.
@mgibson897 for sure!
@Skittlez27 WMR doesn’t only update at 3am EST/12amPST, that’s when they BEGIN to update for the new day.
Which is especially important on major update days like Wed and Sat. you’ll notice too since that’ll be when all the action begins here on IGMR
@Skittlez27 why do you say a transcript 846 DDD of 3/2/21 means a DDD of 2/26??
If the transcript 846 is there, that’s the DDD…Now if your Bank is awesome and allows you to access funds as soon as IRS gives the Bank a heads up it coming, then that’s a possibility of getting $ a business day or two early.
@gilyash did you get a chance to check for the 846 code on the 3/2/21 line?Kaycee
I checked IGMR FB and saw nothing like a Transcript. Pls specify where you saw this.
Also the FB mention about refunds hitting accts does not mean they’re hitting for PATHers too. Also, last year if we saw an 846 on Friday 2/21/20 we also saw an WMR update Sat 2/22/20 overnight/early morning with the DDD matching our 846 codes and those cont’d to update until Monday. Most of us saw a Wed 2/26/20 DDD last year for the 1st round of deposits.
I’m hoping for a Wed update but, reading through the last 3 years, it’s looking like Fri (transcripts) & this coming Sat (WMR) for updates.
has anyone been received by AZ? mine is still pending.
For those of u you with Xfer access
Remember that for the 2/22 WMR update. The Update will begin 12am PST (3am EST) you might see a slowdown for a few minutes at a time, but it will trickle in slowly.
If you can check your Account Transcripts, these will see an update to an 846 code the Friday before same time 12am PST
As long as IRS sticks to their Pattern, this will be when the ball’s rolling for most of us.
oh no!
I missed Siouxsie’s comment! Sorry @rhood711, I was jumping between tabs and totally got it out of context. Yes, you totally were on the $ about the Major WMR update for 2/22 by the way.@rhood711
Chloe please only go by 2021 articles or you’ll drive yourself insane! The same is true every year that PATH releases hold on accts the 15th. This also means the last leg of the process is held up to that point. I takes a few days to complete, then a DDD is assigned, its not an instant DDD on 2/15.*specify, question doesn’t specify PATHers :)
The question doesn’t specifically PATHers but even when PATH filers file way early (like myself at 1/18) its still about 3 weeks from RECEIVED and that is entirely dependent on the date IRS is receiving returns.
The refund date will be in a 846 code line and make sure its 2021. If that’s where it is, Congrats!!
Also never use the “As of” dates. That means nothing to your DDD.
Exactly, everyone is different. The majority of people do see their $ within the 21days. Similar accts filed on the same days can have drastically different wait times for reasons out of the filer’s control, but most similar accts do show a pattern. To make it clear though, most of us will not see turn around times less than 7 days. So, congrats to those lucky duckies, but don’t expect that to be you.
If you’re not a PATHer and went from accepted to approved THIS week. Its possible to see $ Mon and Wed as long as IRS is running on time.
Before Path Act I usually got my DD 3-5 days from Accepted. It’s totally possible for non PATHers to receive your $ very quickly. WMR major updates are usually Wed for daily accts and Saturdays Overnight for weekly accts.
It is also possible for accts to update other days but they only update once per day, so you wont go from Approved to DDD if your account status changed after that day’s update.
February 12, 2021 at 4:41 pm in reply to: CTC increase and Stimulus 3.0 updates/predictions #4452566Yes Michael that’s what I saw as well,
I found a mention that half the Expanded CTC amount could be avail in July and the rest as 6 monthly payments, that’s if the expansion is passed of course. here’s the specifics:
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/personalfinance/a-family-of-4-could-get-up-to-12-800-in-stimulus-payments-this-year/ar-BB1dzQXc?li=BBnbfcN&ocid=BDT3DHPFebruary 11, 2021 at 5:57 pm in reply to: CTC increase and Stimulus 3.0 updates/predictions #4452286I’m pretty sure a fellow parent mentioned the first stimulus money affected her husband’s unemployment money but not the SNAP benefits for that month.
I was pretty sure that was sorted out and was not a problem for the Dec payments. I didn’t ever have a chance to ask her how things went afterwards.
February 10, 2021 at 10:23 pm in reply to: Anyone that filed 2020 with TT been accepted by IRS yet as part of a test batch? #4452130IRS site updated 4 hours after TT sent the e-mail that it was. Both myself and my spouse now have the orange 1 bar page on WMR. Yay!!
wishing everyone good vibes and a smooth transition to full bars :)
February 10, 2021 at 5:13 pm in reply to: Anyone that filed 2020 with TT been accepted by IRS yet as part of a test batch? #4452071Filed 1/18
Accepted. Got TT e-mail 2:32p AZ Time (Its Now 3:13p)
IRS site still not updated but TT site is and received their text alert as well at 3:39p
I claimed EITC and ACTC so no DDD anytime soon. Maybe helpful to other filers.
filed w TT 1/18
Accepted today at 2:30p AZ Time. Its currently 2:56p for us.
I’m not gonna see my refund before 2/15 though. Things are moving :)
February 10, 2021 at 2:11 am in reply to: CTC increase and Stimulus 3.0 updates/predictions #4451974I’ve read the push to divide that same credit into 12 monthly payments instead, but I feel that is way more likely to get rejected.
I’m all for helping families, but sometimes one lump sum works better for families that need to make large payments at once like back rent/mortgage payments or car repair. Also wouldn’t monthly payments mess with income calculations for those families relying on unemployment, Medicaid or Nutrition Assistance?
If you have one of those Early Posting Prepaid cards, it might be possible for daily accts with a Mon DDD to see $$ the Friday before, like last year.
Last year all the Jan filers that shared here saw their deposits in a weekly pattern like myself. I think depending on the cycle your transcripts are on, most people that filed before this week, will see their DD before the 28th.
I’ll have to lookup the cycle code pattern somewhere. I’m super nervous about delays.Right @Jennifer Starr
That wording was exactly the same last year. Anyone with Transcript access knows WMR tool updates come after things are already moving. Last year the update was said to be 2/24, that’s the Monday after the 1st Thursday following 2/15/20.
This year 2/15 lands on Monday…I’d say Thursday 2/18 Processing Begins: 2-3- days(Friday- Sun) and then 4 Days to deposit. Next Business day is Monday 2/22 and for Weekly accts first deposits 2/26.
