I received that same ID Quiz Letter in the mail and attempted it but failed for some reason.
I ended up faxing my ID, W2’s and the Letter to the number on the letter.
It took them about a week from the time I faxed it for them to update my return, and now I am listed as “Direct Deposit has been authorized and I will receive it within 10 days.”

I have emerald card, advance and fees taken out. Been with block for 14 years. They deposit the night before about 8pm mountain time without fail every year. 2/24 DDD with deposits going to emerald card will come in early tomorrow night.
Santa Barbara Tax Group is gonna hold those refunds as long as they can. Two days of interest adds up to a lot. They already have the funds, just like all the other folks getting their return already without paying fees.
I worked in banking. These transactions are instant and overnight via the federal reserve. Banks don’t “receive” money at 9am or any time during the day. They just release it to you then. Just FYI.
Expect refunds from Tax Group advances to start hitting tomorrow evening and Thursday morning.
Asking for a friend he has 22,398 in income and his fed tax withheld was 844 he has 4 kids under 13 and his regular refund was 8K then he put that he spent 18K on child car and it sent his refund up over 30K and he submitted it. Will he get audited or be required to show proof for child care?
The same happened to me. IRS rep said to expect a notice for audit and 8-12 weeks to issue a decision. It’s a bad thing.
Your situation doesn’t necessarily apply to the OPs situation. No it doesn’t mean Phillymade is getting audited.
H&R has no record of my incoming return and its supposed to be a ddd of 2/24. bank has no record either had to call irs to double check the routing number was correct since h&r put wrong one down and got told it was sent to bank on friday.. come tuesday its MIA? wtf is going on with H&R
Let’s stop telling people to relax, etc. People are allowed to feel and express their thoughts. We may be on different levels of stress regarding this money. But let’s be honest we’re all here with some level of concern.
Has anyone using hr block received a friggin refund?? What is going on? I have used them since 2016 and never had an issue. ALWAYS get it at least 2 days early.

BANK WITH CHIMEI have chime, have not received state or federal. I’m starting to think it all depends on the tax prep. I use h&r, think next year I’ll reconsider

I emailed my Tax lady and asked what the earliest I could receive my refund on my emerald card and she said between the 24th and 26th. 😒
They ain’t releasing sh*t early this year! 😒

hi so im in fl and claimed the eitc and ctc and was on path…. I now have a ddd of 2/24 and bank with chime and have had TurboTax supposedly already have taken out my fees a long time ago have you gotten your money yet hoping ours comes by tonight or early in the am?
Probably won’t be PayPal, unless something’s changed this year. They’ve always held mine till the exact deposit date. One year, it was late that afternoon before I got mine. My DDD is 2/24 as well. I hope they at least deposit that morning.
Anyone having fees go through republic? Nothing on their site yet but after they go through there they are sending to my traditional bank. I’ve always had my taxes go to a local office. I hope all these processing from one bank to another does not make my refund take longer than the 24th to come in!!
Filed and accepted 2/5. N/a on return transcript. Account transcript only shows codes from the stimulus and child tax credit last year. No new codes from this year and my as of date says 12/31/2021 and has never changed. Anybody else have this or know what it means??
Anyone else here like myself? I see all the threads and posts about “codes” or things disappearing. I havent had ANYTHING happen since day one.
Filed 2/5, accepted 2/5 and got 1 bar on WMR on 2/5.
Since then its stayed 1 bar, N/A on transcripts…its literally just sat. No updates, no change, nothing.
Hiloshark you are completely wrong. It all depends on your bank. I bank with USAA and they do not hold deposits. Once the ACH is received myb funds are released immediately. Last year, my refund hit my account on the DDD around 5:30pm est. Holding deposits is just a standard practice within the banking industry. It’s an obsolete practice imo.

I never went to processing. It was always “no info” for 8 days. .then to processing on 2/11. I’m not sure why my posts are going through so if my posts keep repeating, I’m sorry.
Why everyone so desperate and mad, The IRS, The USA Government stated the 24th, you’ll get them the 24th, STOP worrying, save it for after if you don’t get them, but on the meantime relax and keep enjoying your life! ✊🏽💯 I Am 2/24 and I’m just waiting, what else we could do. 🤷🏽♂️🤣
