I’ve filed with TT/SBTPG for almost 10 years and every year I have gotten my refund either on my DDD or the evening before. It’s the Wednesday eve/Thursday after Pres. day. Never fails. To answer your question people want answers, not theories. It’s worse to tell desperate people to have hope every day, making’em check sites every 10 min, and upset when it’s not there. It’s painful for those looking for real answers. It’s better to set real expectations.

@Jess, the notice was not there, but there was a spot smack dab in the middle of the page that tells him to verify his identity, but it asks for a code from the letter. 🙄

Same thing happened to me. I spoke with Supe at credit karma, she said CK can still accept the refund even though the account is closed and if they do, they will transfer the funds to whatever bank account I had on file for transfers. 10-14 days.
Hopefully that happens, I dont wanna wait for a check

Believe what you want to believe but this is my 15th year with Turbo Tax and SBTPG and I have never gotten my refund earlier than the day before my DDD. I’ve never spoken to anyone else that uses them that’s gotten before then either.

I use Varo too. Filed with TT it says DD by the 28th but I usually get a deposit on the 24th early am. Check your email from TT it sends a email before a deposit !

She said she understood that it seems misleading to taxpayers when we are told are funds are not held. She said it had to go thru all the steps on their end for processing. Which still doesn’t make sense, as they have our money so why wouldn’t the processing begin immediately(or stop telling people you don’t hold funds) I think that’s what is the most upsetting . Being told one thing and watching them do the opposite.

This was our first year filing separately and he only claims one kid now where I claim the others. Mine was accepted and processed with no issues so I kinda feel bad for him. LOL Someone else said on here that they never got the letter and they called and just did it over the phone and they sent them on for processing and supposed to get their refund like two weeks later so I’m hoping my ex husbands will be the same way.

I helped my ex husband file his before I even filed mine and his was accepted but had no movement. I finally helped him get an IRS account and checked it after like two weeks, he had no notices but it said that he needed to verify as well. We chose the “send another notice” but he hasn’t received it yet. If he doesn’t receive it by the end of the week then we will call the IRS.

So by the grace of god I actually spoke to a live person at SBTPG. They have received my funds on last Friday. Although they are open today , it’s still not a processing day as it’s still not considered a business day. She told me my account is due to be processed on 22nd and deposited 23rd (my ddd date) continued …(ran out of space )

Just called H&R block. Says my refund was sent to my bank on 2/18. and to contact them if I don’t receive by my DDD 2/23. So hopefully that means they already sent from pathward to my bank which in all hope means I’ll see it overnight sometime since I’m using Chime. Good luck to you all. I’ll post when I receive.

SBTPG will not deposit money early. Again, it will not deposit early. It has been like this for years, and I’ve used them before. So it’s pointless to come up with scenarios as to why they should deposit early. It will be there the day off around noon. Today is a holiday so there are no banks processing anything. It’s just 2 days away.

Never got the PATH message… Transcripts show no codes just as of 2/20. My IRS account has no notices to view. Couldn’t get through when i called Friday. No updates at all. I have been using BOA for over 20 years, they always release on the day of. I received my deposit last year on the morning of the IRS posted DDD of Feb 24th, this year I got 2/23 as well. I don’t expect the funds until Thursday morning.

@Joe how/where do you see that it was already mailed? My WMR says mine is scheduled to mailed by Feb 24. Got 846 on 2/16. Not sure why we got paper check either but maybe bc we’ve been using same bank info for years too. Who really knows. Can you please update when you receive it?

Refund check mailed out 2/17. Anyone know how long the timeframe is? I’ve yet to see the FB group warn that using same bank account information for 3 yrs will automatically get you a paper check mailed. It’s been years for us. Used same bank information since 1998.

This is literally every year… people expect an early deposit and get mad when it doesn’t come early. They don’t understand they can’t go by other people’s experiences and that there a very strict rules 3rd party processors must adhere to, like Fed. Reg. CC.

Seems to me your the one who is bothered because you didn’t get your money early. This isn’t new, if you used TT and paid upfront, you wouldn’t have had to wait depending on who you bank with. Whenever a 3rd party processor is involved, you’re going to wait. You can take what I say however you want, but it’s not going to change that the only one at fault is you. Next time, pay upfront and use a Non-traditional bank and you might see it early.

I’m not quite sure what you’re arguing for or against. We do still have choices in this country regarding where we do and do not take our business. This is usually based off previous experiences, advertisements and claims, and word of mouth. Based upon my current experience with the Turbo Tax/SBTPG product, I will not be returning. @NaturalMe (part 2)…Meaning, usually even account and wage and income won’t be clickable and will show the na and not 2022 until then. It was NOT my first login. In prior years, it has meant for some people that they were in the errors department. But, it can mean anything, including irs had a hiccup when they ran that batch through.

To topic 152 is normal. Nothing to worry about. It basically means that your refund is being processed; and to give it 2 to 3 weeks.
