How often does the ga tax center update?
I have tried to call 3 times on different days and I can’t get anyone that will help, all I get is the “it hasn’t been 90 days” crap. Has anyone seen any movement on theirs recently?
As usual, all i can get someone to say is the 90 day b.s.
what do you say when you call to get them to release it. All I ever get is a very rude person who gives me the 90 day crap.

Has anyone with a prepaid card gotten theirs early. I got a ddd of 2/11
I got a text this morning that my refund was sent to my bank on 2/7 , it’s not there so I checked wmr and it says 2,/11. Why do they do that?
I was accepted on the 30th but have seen no movement whatsoever. Still on one bar, no PATH message and transcripts still say “no record of return filed” and the rest are n/a. I know if I call they won’t tell me anything.
@georgiagirl so how far out was the ddd or did you get the deposit already?

Mine has been in green for 3 days now. Wmr just says processing. Ugh
Why in the world are they not accepting returns yet. They were supposed to start today!!!!
Proof that they make mistakes at Dept of Rev. I got a text message and an e-mail stating that my refund “has been or will be sent to my bank by 2/13”. I freaked out because I use Netspend and haven’t gotten the deposit yet. So I checked the Where’s my Refund on my computer and it says 2/15.

My amount switched to 0 last night. How long from that time before you see a DDD?
Why is everyone else getting released but I was told “give them another week”? :(
Its not just the website, it does the same thing if you call.

River City says that they released it to Netspend at 8 this morning but I still don’t have it. How long does Netspend take?

Dont’ go by the automated number. It does not update regularly. Call them at 1-888-820-7848
that is an outright lie! Last year the automated line kept telling me that they did not have my money – all the way up to February 21st. But then magically the message changed to my refund had been received on February 16th and was now released. So last year they kept my refund for 5 days before sending it to me. I said never again last year and I gave it cause I needed the loan. But I mean it this year – never again.
There is someone on the main page that says she just got her refund from River City. So I pick up the phone and call the automated number and same old same old “your application has been processed but your refund has not yet been received”, “please call the IRS, blah, blah, blah.
still waiting also. automated line says “your refund has not yet been received”.
@Nicki. 1-877-423-6711. But I can’t get anyone to tell me anything except the 90 day blah blah blah b.s. I filed on 2/1 – accepted same day – still in green also. I see people filing after me getting their ddd. Frustrating
They just won’t tell you when they are starting to release funds because they don’t want even more phone calls. They know EXACTLY what they are doing and when they are going to start releasing. I had a paper check in my hand on this very day last year. I thought e-filing would be faster. wow.
I don’t see anything on their website as to an “approved letter”. Only my amount in green, just sitting there……………………………………………………..
Ok my status changed from please allow 90 days to 6-8 weeks so does that mean there is some movement going on?
So we have one person that called and was told that no one would receive funds before 21 days after February 1st. Then another person calls and was told that they are releasing funds this week. So which is it? Obviously one of the reps at the Dept of Rev is lying. They shouldn’t be allowed to give people the run around like this. It is our money after all.
I’m ready to throw my phone across the room. Still nothing. Still amount showing credit in green sitting in their account. 90 day message. Blah blah blah. Push the damn button already.
Has anyone called yet to see why our money is just sitting there showing as a credit and we can’t have it?
I actually had mine in my hand on feb 9th last year AND they had to mail me a check so i expected dd to be earlier.
Mt refund is showing as a credit in green. Does anyone know when they are going to start releasing the refunds?
WMR states they “mailed” my check on Feb 2nd. It is still not here and they are telling me I have to wait 15 business days before they will issue another. I mailed something to Michigan from Georgia on the same date and it has already been received and deposited so I know it doesn’t take that long for the mail to get where it is going within the State of Georgia. Does anyone know anything about how long it actually takes to receive an actual check? (By the way, getting a check was a mistake made by my tax preparer who I will not go back to next year).
@Helpful Nero – nope, I’ve been filing taxes in Georgia for over 30 years. They did not have an explanation for me as to why it did not get direct deposited.
Anyone having issues with the refund App? It is telling me that my refund is still being processed but the actual website tells me that a check was mailed on Feb 2. Not sure what to believe and I can’t get through to a live person.

I told them that my co-worker, who filed on Feb 3rd, received her refund on Feb. 18th and that I was still waiting and I wanted to know what is wrong with my return. She basically called me a liar, said that she was 100% sure that my co-worker did not receive hers. My co-worker showed me her bank account. Also, my son as a DDD for Feb. 22nd and he filed on Feb. 5th. There is something wrong with my return obviously, but she tells me that there isn’t, that it is still processing. She also contradicted herself by telling me that they are processed in the order received, which is obviously not true.

I filed for 5 other people besides myself. They all have their money or at least DDD. I filed through Turbo Tax on 1/6. I was accepted 1/12. Lost my one lonely little bar last weekend and have been getting the generic processing message ever since. All of my transcripts come up n/a except for the wage one and it says “no record of return filed”. I have called IRS and been told that the people who filed “early” could very well be still sitting in a “que” somewhere. WTH? Any thoughts on what I should do at this point? I really need to pay my rent.
