Accepted 1/19 account transcript became available but it’s blank I am a weekly update I know in prior years my transcripts never updated on Friday I would check just wmr on Saturday and it would say my return was approved my transcripts didn’t update until after I received my refund just wanted to add to some hope

I filed 1/17, accepted 1/18. Still one bar, transcripts are there now with zeros, which is how mine were last year. Only W2 simple return – last year I received my refund before I even received a DDD. All signs pointing in the right and same direction as last year.

I wanted to hop on here to mention that unless the IRS is waiting for congress, those who file having regular CTC will NOT be held up by PATH. It is those that file with ACTC that are part of the Path act.

You can’t receive your refund until after Feb 15th if you claimed earned income credit or child tax credit so it doesn’t matter what date turbo tax gave sorry

My Indiana was accepted already, but for some reason I have ID verify every year and it sits on still processing for 3 weeks before I call and verify over the phone.

See that’s what I don’t understand because as we others have been getting there’s while we sit and wait. This is ridiculous and I think they just told you anything to get you off the line which is horrible. They are misleading people with the promise of the advance once accepted. Just maybe we will see something tomorrow.

Your your employer should’ve provided you with a 1095 C . If they didn’t I would request one from them.

Has anyone had an issue where they paid for insurance all year through their employer and that insurance paid all medical bills and tax return is being rejected due to supposedly having marketplace insurance and being told half of your taxes will be taken to cover the expense of it?

There sees to be something, we don’t know what, where people are getting their advances immediately (minutes) upon being accepted. Then others just sitting there no advance, We don’t know what the common thing is, but we are watching.

@EM: We have seen many people get it with just acceptance. They told you need approved? At that point, you could just wait for your refund,

Happened to me this year and last year. It didn’t cause a delay. Got my refund Feb 17th last year and probably same time this year.

So i chatted with credit karma asked then what was going on . They told me the advance wasn’t complete on turbo tax side and to contact them which i did . Turbo tax said that to get the advance your taxes need to be Accepted and Approved before they will release the money which is misleading

After redoing my taxes on calfile I was accepted the next day. Turbo tax must have a glitch keeping them from submitting the state taxes. Now just waiting for processing and DDD

No, regular CTC is not path. If you claimed ACTC or EITC, that’s path.

Pending DD for 01/26, which my bank will release on 01/25.

Filed direct with CalFile. Historically it usually takes 3 business days for it to hit my bank after they process and approve it, so thankfully no surprises this year.

UPDATE 1/31 6:00pm: Votes passed in The House of Representatives. Now it moves on to the Senate. It is still NOT a law. If it is even passed in both chambers of Congress, IRS still has to implement it.

Filed on 1/15 with H&R Block. Accepted on 1/19. If I remember correctly I usually see my DD hit my account on a Friday before the WMR tool updates on Saturday. Hopefully will see it this Friday in my account!

Also, make sure you’re keeping records of everything! Text messages, child support payments or lack there of, everything. Communication is through text or email. If you live in a one party state, record every verbal conversation.

IMO, it just needs to go back to court. If the judge said no to you claiming, then don’t do it. If she’s paying child support, she’s technically taking care of them in the courts eyes. To them, your just helping dad. Being the girlfriend really holds no bearings (assuming you are not married) and in some states, even being the step parent means nothing.

It will be interesting to see how much gets cut out of the bill that has little to do with the ctc. Like many bills, different groups are trying to squeeze in unrelated funding, etc. while others balk at the expense.

I filed with TT on 1/19 and got rejected on 1/24 for not including my 1095-A from healthcare.gov even though I only was covered for 3 months last year.

Anyway, tracked that down, entered the info and refiled. Everything’s submitted now. Has anyone else had to refile and seen any drastic changes to getting accepted (like delays, etc.)

I have the same issue wirh my state tax. Turbo tax claimed to have submitted, CAFTB has no record of it. I redid my taxes through the Calfile after 3 days of phone calls. This is the 1st time I’ve had this issue but I have had it where no movement happens and I call in then they “push” it throug

@JOe Shmow I was able to use their check my refund yesterday but had the same issue as you this afternoon. I just logged into my CA FTB account and my refund is showing as processed with the amount showing.

This is long as I will try to give enough info to get a clear picture.
We live in a small town, dad (my be of 10 years) has two kids 16, 20 I have a 10 year old. He has had custody since 2021. Mom is addict. Court ordered her to claim kids on taxes give him half. Dad draws disability so usually doesn’t file, I work, I file. Judge said it wasn’t fair to let me claim. I am main breadwinner I make 4x what he draws. She pays child support. She hasn’t given the children anything in years. Barley sees them.
This year I said, I was claiming them. The court hasn’t done anything about her flaunting the order, doesn’t seem likely to. I pay for everything for them. I do all the appointments. I have for 10 YEARS. She agreed, then went and claimed them anyway. Then sent me a horrible text calling names, threatening me, and more.
I have read laws and forums until I’m crosseyed. I have an appointment with a lawyer next week but any advice or information anyone can help me with ?

And yes, dad is fully involved and supporting this.

Yes if it says it’s been received it’s accepted and you’re part of the test batch of early acceptance.

I don’t know who you filed with or what program you used, but I do know tax slayer emails are delayed this year for some reason.

Made me think mine hadn’t been accepted, but it had been and I got the email three or four days later. (whereas usually the email comes right on time)
