I got a letter yesterday from them. Just a generic letter though, says my return is being reviewed and they don’t need anything from me at this time.
I agree, I been saying this all week. They are not valuing our rights as taxpayers and they’re not being honest.
I am in the same boat as you. I filed 1/29 and been stuck with no bars. All I have is the “Still processing” message with tax topic 152. My expected amount shows on the side too. I called them yesterday and they told me I was under review and will take 45 days and that they don’t need anything from me at this time. I claimed my two kids and needed this money for car repairs as I have been having some engine problems and need shocks.
I honestly don’t see how it’s ok to hold our money like this let alone for them to be rude as if they’re the ones affected by this sh*t. This is the worse tax season I have ever dealt with. Looks like we’re all screwed and will have to wait a few more months for OUR DAMN MONEY!
Again, no idea how they can do this to people. Everyone in my family who have kids got their money and they were shocked when I told them I still have not got mine. It’s funny how if you owe them money they’re down your throat.

Most definitely the worst, especially for us still processing with no clue when our money is coming or if it is at all. So many people saying there is ID verification, delays, and audits. I don’t know what to think anymore.
I will check again at 8 am EST but nothing here. I might be Saturday, congrats on the DD.
I think mine only updates on Saturday’s. I’m waiting for the 27th before I start blowing up their phone.

Was in the same position as you. Saturday morning I finally updated with the amount on the side but says I’m still being processed. I have TT 152. Claimed my kids and the EIC.
I have not received a letter yet and it appears I only update on Saturdays which is making this process so much more grueling. Just so damn fed up with this year as it’s never taken this long including last year.
What’s the review process? No idea why I would need to be under review. They just need to give me my damn money.
Nope, the only thing that changed on mine was my refund amount showed up now. But I still have this message. I do claim kids and the EIC.

@Scottie at this point I will assume the worst and just spend the entire day Tuesday on the phone with them. It’s crap like this that annoys me and wonders why they cannot provide a much more smooth process. We should always be updated with clear descriptions of where our return stands. Their process is stressful and downright pathetic for 2018 technology.
@Kirkobanz89 I am EST and my wife updated to 2 bars with a DD. So I am assuming the worst at this point. Completely drained of this process and frustrated that I have to go out of my way now to spends hours on a phone with them come Tuesday.

I don’t remember getting any bars, shows no refund amount, just that it’s processing with topic 152. I have no offsets. I got an email from TT Thursday morning at 12 am saying “thank you for using TT” blah blah.
Going forward I will just stop having so much taxes taken out, pull 10% of each check back in a savings and pay them at the end of the year. Over this BS!
Still, have “We have received your tax return and it is being processed.” with topic 152. No refund amount being shown though?
So just checked mine and it has the following, why does refund amount say zero?

Offset Amount $0.00
Refund Amount $ 0.00
Refund Mailed/Deposited Date N/ANothing here, doesn’t even show the amount at the bottom for me. Just say’s N/A
Call the offset line. I had one last year and if you call the offset line and they say you do, you can 100% guarantee they will take your money. TT152 does not necessarily mean you have an offset. Just google Tax Offset phone number and call them. It’s automated and only requires your ss#.
