WMR hasn’t updated past the first bar for me ever until days after I had already received my refund. I also have always received my DD within 7 days of being accepted.

I’m nervous because yesterday and today the offset line said that my information wasn’t currently available but it said the same for my husband. Hope it’s not adding any offsets!

As I am reading through comments it seems like everyone who filed on 01/19 or after are getting approved before everyone who filed before 01/19! maybe they are just doing things a little differently this year!

You guys I really think that WMR updates sooner then 3am because when I got locked out earlier it said “please try again tomorrow” and my boyfriend signed me in again at 10:pm and he was able to log in just fine, and I was still at ONE bar.

@mick thank u i was begining to wonder if i was the only accepted the 11th still waiting. Hopefully we wake up to a nice surprise. Im not sure if ill be filing early next year. Seems like we are waiting longer for the approval

SBBT removed the date for everyone, not just certain individuals. It was causing too much confusion.

@Alabamagal87 No, that is not a cycle code. A cycle code is 6 digits. First 4 designates the year (2016), second 2 is week that year and last 2 is the day of the week.

01 = Friday
02 = Monday
03 = Tuesday
04 = Wednesday
05 = Thursday

IRS week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday.

You wouldn’t be able to know if you’re daily or weekly without looking at your tax transcripts.

@Christine You are pretty much dead on. I’ve received WMR update on Saturday last year. The last few years, I’ve always received my refund on Wednesdays. I’m also weekly.

@Franchesca Hi I filed on the 11th and was accepted on WMR on the 12th . Got an e mail from TT saying I was accepted and had a DD of Jan 19 to Feb 8 which is just a generic message everyone got. I haven’t been approved yet and am hoping tomorrow I’ll see the bar move. This is the first time I’ve filed early and never again.
The past 2 years I’ve filed on opening day and received my refund within 10 days on a netspend card from TT. Both years I got my refund before ever moving to approved on WMR . Well good luck hopefully tomorrow. Mick

Not really. H&R block doesn’t update as often as the irs does, in my experience they never update from accepted saying it is being prepared.
Sometimes you won’t get any updates on wmr and get your refund

This is CRAZY! I filed on the 15th and got accepted THE SAME DAY, and I still only have ONE freaking bar! It’s quite annoying seeing people who got accepted way after my already have a DDD! They are taking much longer this year because last year I saw the second bar TWO days after I got accepted! No one is alone though we are all still playing the waiting game so fingers cross we all see the second bar soon! and They update WMR at 10:00 pm so if you get locked out then wait until 10:00 pm and you will be able to log in again! This just happened to me today and I was able to log in at 10. And I still see no update just one bar!

TT says 3% received they money and every site, blog, and new feed I went on a says people should see refunds between today and the 5th and the cycle some of us, was in should get a deposit tomorrow let’s hope that this is true cause on the 8th will be 21 days from the 20th and the 1st will be 21 days from the 11th let’s see what happens tomorrow and the rest of the weekend

I filed with TT on 1/18 and got accepted 1/19. WMR still on one bar. I don’t feel the WMR tool is accurate. I remember a couple years in the past, I received my deposit but the WMR did not update until days later. I think IRS purposely does this to prevent people from calling and freaking out because it may not be in their bank yet at the time they checked WMR. So it’s always likely that when WMR says the refund was sent, it will be in your bank account already days before. I am hoping to receive a DD tomorrow, 1/29. If not, then for sure it has to be by 2/5, which is total crap because really judging from experience, it should DD for a lot of us tomorrow who got accepted on or before 1/19.

If the IRS reps are doing what they are told, you won’t get any info until after February 9th and that’s for early filers and those accepted by the 19th. I filed on the 14th and was accepted the same day but I would still have to wait until after February 9th

So I just tried to get transcripts and when I out my address is it told me not correct info ( I have a new address) so I plugged in my old address and it let me order the 2014 transcripts I hit ok thinking it was going to take me to a new screen and it said your transcripts will be mailed to you in 5-10 days- ugh that’s my old address! Its no biggy as I have a forwarding address but will that delay my tax refund now? I am still on one bar filed 1/16 approved 1/19 obviously no transcripts yet :(

I filed last year on Jan 26th and had a deposit in a standard bank on Feb 04. I can’t remember if that was the day they had estimated it or not, but for some reason I want to say it was estimated to be DD on Feb 12th. There were some last year that filed and got a DD with Netspend and Bluebird only a couple of days after being accepted. This year I got a Bluebird account to see if I get lucky as they did.
