Friday weekly updates and if a deposit is coming WMR updates on Saturdays
From 570 to 846 DD 3-13-24
My as of date was 3/4 and I’m stuck at 570. Hoping to update this weekend. No 971 notices sent or codes.
I filed on February 7th with my taxes electronically. I called on 3/15 based upon hopes from others posts. All they gave me was it reached the IS department on 2/27 and to wait 11 weeks from 2/9. Hoping there’s an update this weekend since the last few weeks have been nothing. I really don’t want to wait until the end of April but that’s what it’s looking like at this point.

I got my DDD today for 4/13. Filed on 2/23 with IS cycle code 20221005 and last week as of date 3/28 or 4/15. Got notice last week on 3/28 and now refund will be coming on 4/13. Looks like they are back to the 6-8 week timeframe this year.
In all the years I’ve filed IS this is the longest I’ve had to wait. Filed in February. Was told that IS didn’t get it until 4/26. It wasn’t assigned to a person until 6/17. Was told to wait 30 days before they could even notify the person of why my case hasn’t been worked yet. Found out why the child tax credit says you’re ineligible even though I’m eligible and they said it’s because my 2020 return is still pending. So until that’s finished I can’t get the credits either smh.

In the morning everyone is trying to call and you can’t get through.I don’t like this new version either. I miss the bonding and support for one another. Still waiting! Filed early February. Did see some credit adjustments as of 5/10 so not sure what those are about but nothing else updated. I called a week ago and they told me not to expect anything until June 15th. Then call if nothing is received by then. Truly sucks this year.
So I called the IRS on Friday and I filed in February. Was told that I shouldn’t expect anything until June 15th. This would be the longest that I’ve ever waited since filing IS.
