I called SBTPG and it said my refund payment is processing that I should receive it within 2 days. My DDD is 2/23. The amount they gave me was lower than my expected refund amount, so I called the treasury offset program and they offset me for state tax owed from 2020. But will I still get my refund on time?

I filed 1/24 and had “still processing” with no tax topic on my WMR. My transcripts were n/a and not updated with an “as of date” of Feb 13th. After my 21 days (Feb 16th) I decided to call and the IRS agent informed me that the “stopped processing” my return. She sent me letter 4883C and I had to verify through phone (online was not an option for me) They said it would take up tp 9 weeks.

Update this year they are doing offsets, the last couple years they didn’t but this year they offset mine for state tax owed. But the rest is sent to me. SBTPG funded this morning. I called the treasury offset number and hit option 2 and it told me how much was offset from my tax return and by who.

I filed 1/30 accepted 2/02 went to still being processed so I canned the irs and I verified last Friday, never got a letter but I called and they said I don’t need a letter and I can just do it by phone. I’m thinking maybe we will update Friday on transcripts, I’m a weekly.

I’m confused turbo tax said my refund was Osiris days ago irs says payment will be sent 2-23-2023 still unfunded never received it says I don’t owe anything where’s my refund no movement at all never had this happen in 10 yrs even if I had fees taken out of my refund

I didn’t have fees. Only the advance so at first it only said my refund hadn’t been received. When it funded, it gave me the “expected refund amount” Waiting for CK now. I’ll post when my deposit comes

Crickets. Filed and accepted 2/1, with ACTC and EITC. WMR historically stuck at 1 bar w/TT152. Bottom 2 transcripts are 2022 with zeros, top 2 are n/a. I’ve been a weekly the last 5 years, updating Fridays. WMR now states “beyond the normal processing time”. No letters, no verification, nothing strange.

Mine said that last year and it was because I had a correction. I didn’t have to do anything, it just took a week or so extra.

As for ID verify, it says up to 9 weeks but I’ve never heard anyone say it took more than a few days, so anyone who sees that, don’t panic!

If you receive that message go to your irs online account, it will tell you that identity verification is needed. You should receive a letter in the mail and you would need the control number from the letter to verify. This literally just happened to me, the day I logged in to my account, I received a letter in the mail. I verified my identity but it does say it could take up to 9 weeks to be processed. It may not take 9 weeks but just know what to expect

Thank you both! I’m in the same boat as a 1/31 with no movement or transcripts. Gives me some hope, my state refund will be deposited tomorrow, first time I’ve ever gotten state before federal and my state didn’t start accepting until the 11th of Feb.
