@colson425 as to your point, again read the fine print. You ask how can you get it early if the irs hasn’t sent it? They partner with a bank who covers the return. Once the irs approves the return and they verify that, theyre able to create a temporary loan. Swear people dont know how to read anymore smh.
Read the fine print, its 1-5 days early and if you dont get it at least 1 day early the fee is waived and the money isnt taken. Stop complaining.
@skiqueen, its because they paid there fees up front, no middleman involved. Id be surprised if you didnt have you money by tomorrow evening.
Being mad about it doesnt change anything. Why not just be patient and know that it’ll come? Filing on 2/8 is only 1e days when they tell you the average is 21.

Banks dont have to pay 5 days early. The feds send funds 2 business days before deposit date. To hit accounts weds at 12 am, they’d need to be sent today. If you have a card that provides 48 hours early, they should receive funding today.

Yes. No letter or anything. Got the text notification thatca deposit was made, and I checked mtc and all was good.

Update to all people waiting on a letter. Mine says mailed out on 2/11. I’ve been waiting for it to come so I can ID verify, and my DD just hit my netspend account now, without a letter ever showing up.

That’s not true at all. It’s called a refund anticipation check because they’re anticipating you getting the refund. Read the fine print, it’s a loan from whatever bank the tax preparer uses.Maryjane, I dont think the letters show up under correspondence for everybody. Mine isn’t there. I called and was told that its regarding identification, and that the letter contained sensitive material, and would not be available online. But that it would have a code to be able to upload the proper documents.
Accepted 1/27. Transcripts available today with cycle 20200505. But it says recieved date of 4/15/20, not sure what that means. But I have transcripts.
