Lol TurboTax is funny – I wonder when they’re going to finally decide to deposit the refunds. They just send emails saying it’s on the way but never comes smh
That’s all automated. When it’s your filing is accepted they send that email. I get it too. Might be my last year using TT
Mine hit this morning with traditional bank!!!! Good luck everyone!!!!
You’re no longer a frustrated mom!!
Most of us should’ve gotten our deposits today, if so, be good and we’ll see you next year!
@deepalms, did you leave? Just wanted to let you know I appreciated your post. It is always good when we get to know others and their experiences. Until next year!
As I got my DDD I did find myself steering away from here. Until I’m pinged. Then I get an email reminding me of the awesome people here!
@deepalms, aww, I think we just became besties. Where’s the friendship contract?! Lol. Hope you’re celebrating good news today! I see you here every yr. So, until next time 😊
A DDD of 2/24 is always good new haha. Create an account so we we can be here year after year 😂😂
@coco
Does that include the ctc and eitc?Yes, that’s everything
February 19, 2022 at 7:58 am in reply to: Is the date next to the 846 code the day I’ll get my deposit? #4513846ANYTHING you get for a return can be offset. But yes. That’s the date it’ll hit your bank
1st Year reviewing transcripts… I have an 846 code with the date 2/25/22 next to it. Is this the date I should get my deposit? Or the date they will process it?
That’s the date it’ll hit your bank
I was under the impression Student loans, government and state debts are not eliminated regardless of bankruptcy.
No, just student loans have been forgiven on this years. If you owed on a previous years, it’ll still be taken out. Now state debts could only be taken out of your state return. Not your federal. There’s a federal offset number you can call but I saw reports it was down.
Filing bankruptcy doesn’t eliminate debt to government. So if you owed money to the IRS, they’ll still get it.
Cycle code 20220505
Filed 1/21
Accepted 1/25
As of date was 1/21 but it’s now 3/07
846 2/24
WMR still says the delayed message though. I think it was last year or the year before that my transcripts updated before WMR. Can’t remember…Transcripts can update multiple times a day while WMR updates once a day. So if there’s no update between 11p-2a you won’t reflect on it until the following day(s)
Anyone elses 846 ammount not correct? My 846 line shows $xxx for 2/24/2022
Account Balance showing -$xx,xxx and which is consistant with lines 766 and 768 numbers
No offsets or debts. Been over my own forms and irs record of account form and nowhere is showing a computerized adjustment. I seen one other person with the same issue so far.Negative balance is owed to you. Positive is owed from you.
Cycle code: 20220405
Filed 1/24 EIC/ACTC 2 kids under 13
Accepted : 1/24
As of date: 2/14
Transcripts updated this morning: 846 2/24
Good luck everyone and be blessed 🙏🏽*also 3rd stimulus never received for me or my children and no advance child tax credit payments! All included in refund
I had to pay back my stimulus. Oh well!
Happy Friday everyone!
So if you click the hyper li k it states that the irs is behind and will be issuing the first returns which claim the child earned income credit as of 03/01/2022.
It kinda does. It says it’ll process BY that date.
Your 846 code says 2-28? Or your AS OF does..?
They won’t update yet
Don’t believe we are in clear yet. If what heard is correct those we think are done just need 846. They have go once more through computer final check then get 846. How true I don’t know just what I heard.
It’s been the same for me year after year. 971 then 846. For the last 5 years.
Filed accepted 1/24
Pather
Wmr still processing
Transcripts n/a
Spoke to irs rep today she looked over my return there was no errors 🤷🏽♀️Said they are backed up and really just need more time to process it hopefully what she’s saying is trueI’m betting she’s correct. But people with easy returns are getting delayed and it’s crazy. I just hope the ones who need it get it asap!
Anyone else having trouble getting there transcript? wMR updated to only received and being processed.
No. When you’re presented with the “please wait” screen. Let it sit there and it’ll automatically advance you to the next screen when available. It’s a queue system they have in place.
@deepalms
Can they change our codes or add more if all we are waiting on is the 846 code?Sadly, we’re at the mercy of this animal who thinks they’re god. But our next code WILL BE 846. Just a matter of “when”? If you’re an 05 cycle, expect tomorrow/tonight
I’m praying for a update also.. what’s so hard about just giving us our refund if everything else is in the clear!?!?
Maybe it’s not in the clear??
My trans say cycle code 20220405 received date April 15, 2022 remittance $0. Does anyone know what this means?
I think in this sense it means you haven’t requested any repayment due to overpayment in taxes from the previous years (up to 3 I think)
Let us know if anyones message changes, I’ve had the same thing since Monday.
Most of us are on the “being processed” message. Some with a 846 and others (like myself) without it.
The amounts on 766 & 768 are more than my expected taxes , does that mean I’m getting more ?
Chances are; yes
I just finished checking my Transcripts, Cycle 20220605 and no changes.
Hope tomorrow I see something.
Aslo i have a processing date to 2/28/2022We have a lot in common. Lol
Can you please tell me what number you called? I woke up to the same message and keep trying to call the offset number and it’s not working
Yeah, same for me. You press 7,1,1 and the fourth prompt tells you they’re having a system error.
I have a 150 code with a negative amount and date 2/28/22 what does that mean?
You have a 150 code at the top with a negative number…? Hmmm that is strange.
February 17, 2022 at 5:31 pm in reply to: Stop Crying You Will Get Your Refund Whenever it Comes #4512224Lol I see some of y’all are big mad ain’t nobody telling y’all what to do I could care less to be honest keep checking that shit til it crashes the extra money comes in handy but I don’t depend on a tax return so I ain’t mad about nothing I come here for entertainment purposes…
Lol. I missed this Scotty, welcome back!
I was advised the simple errors are corrected quick. Pray is delayed wake up to an update 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Did they tell you what constitutes as a “simple error”?
Yes I spoke to a Tax advocate and the IRS accountant today who told me the same thing. This message means the return…
Yeah I have the “being processed” message now and have codes 766, 768 and the 971.
February 17, 2022 at 11:52 am in reply to: Changed “still being processed” to “is being processed” #4511935I went from “delayed” to “path” now I’m at the same spot at “being processed” and now wait for my DDD because I have an AS OF 2-28 date.
@deepalms, LOL. The struggle is real. 😁
I try to be informative but I do slip. I’ll be more resilient to that darn temptation 😂😂
I’m not a Pather, no kids no extra credits
That’s crazy to think you haven’t gotten your DDD. Unless there’s an offset..? But that’s a personal matter!
I too am a 20220605 cycle and have an AS OF 02-28. So we’ll see if I acquire a 846 tomorrow 🤷🏼♂️
However, On my way to elevate, admission is first step to recovery. Especially when striving to be a better version. Pssst – I never wrote anything about an “attack”.
Now I shall continue the high road, if I can.
The resistance is real lol
Keep in mind 02/21 is Presidents Day I’m not sure if that will delay everything by one day or not. If you know the answer please share! 😊
Depends on your bank. Some do clear on holidays but chances are (like mine). It won’t.
I still can’t check my transcript it’s been like 2 days already. Is the system crashed?
Who knows. They had a scheduled down day for maintenance and since then it’s been more miss than hit. People are thinking it’s the traffic to the site that’s making it down, but you have a government website expecting it’s traffic. There’s system issues.
@Blue moon, I want to be YOU, when I grow up. Mature honest reply to *** I used to have a serve card, for bills, money transfer etc. Never for refund. I take that back, I did once when filed w h & r block.
Strive to be a better version of yourself. Not others mistakes. I agree my replies are snarky and you upon others make it out to be an attack. This forums is purely a venting area for people and I just chime in when I feel. But choose your fate.
I got the delayed message on 2/14 and as I’m typing this nothing has changed
You didn’t change to the PATH? Or are you not a pather?
Has anyone’s delayed message change yet?
Yeah. I’m now being processed
I’m sorry greediness got the best of you!
February 17, 2022 at 6:18 am in reply to: Are others still having issues logging into irs account? #4511585Same for me i got in once last night to only see no update. No 846 yet wmr changed from path to we have received your refund and it is being processed. As of date is 2-21.
Same here, just my as of date is 2/28
Was able to check transcripts, no 846 yet. WMR updated to we have received your refund and it is being processed. I’ll probably see everything update on Friday though.
I’m the same way. Will probably get an update Friday as I’m an 0505
I tried getting into the transcript all morning and finally at 2:17 cst I saw it, NO change.
I am a pather
accepted on 1-22
0405
2-14 process dateWait until Friday. That’s your update day.
I too had no changes to my transcript. Into Friday we go!
How did u even get on the it’s website it’s been down since like 10pm last night?
Some people got lucky
Means you did something wrong on your W2 and now the have to revise it.
This is incorrect. Don’t spread this misinformation.
Yes. All stems from last nights update.
Technical Difficulties
A technical problem has occurred. Close page and try again later
They’ve finally recognized the issue.
February 16, 2022 at 9:45 am in reply to: WMR Message – Tax return still being processed message #4510847Yeah. They’re a mess right now. This year is the worst I’ve seen these kinda issues
this is my first year actually posting here but im with you guys every year watching to see if anyone can give me valuable information on these taxes and transcripts. yall really have taught me alot. with that being said has anyone been able to access transcripts in the last 10 mins?
All I can do is login but can’t check any transcript.
I’ve been checking since 3am and it’s still down. I’m going to be upset of there’s no update when I finally get through
Oh I know lol. I’ve been checking since 1am. Still down. Going to be a slap in the face when it’s not 846’d
I went from the path message to your return is being processed. I can’t check transcripts but is that a good sign
I’m being told that happens most of the time when you get a 846. Stay hopeful!
I’m an 05 with as of 2/14 which means I’m supposed to be weekly but my WMR just updated to processing from PATH. Still trying to get into transcripts. It’s overloaded
Your weekly pertains to your transcripts. WMR updates once a day, period. If there’s an update.
Filed 01/24
Accepted 01/26
Path message 01/28
CODE 846 DDD 2/22/22 🙏🏽What does your WMR say?
I can’t even access my transcript. IRS page must be overloaded I keep getting an error saying the page isn’t working
It’s not quite overloaded by traffic. It is server sided and does require a lag time to updates transcripts!
February 14, 2022 at 12:03 pm in reply to: Has anyone ever received a surprised deposit without updates on wmr or transcrit #4509603I’ve recieved deposits while still on 1st bar on wmr not sure about the transcripts tho
Unfortunately WMR is useless over your transcripts. I always suggest only looking at transcripts.
I filed on the 21st. Accepted the 24. My transcripts say no tax return filed and I lost bars a few days ago. Just wondering if anyone is seeing the same thing? Thanks!
You need to wait until they update it. I went a week with that message. Just patience.
Oddly my balance is $3,600 less than what TT accumulated. Of which I’m assuming is the stimulus. But I suppose my 971 notice will explain that to me.
February 13, 2022 at 10:51 am in reply to: WMR Updated Twice Today. Is PATH a positive message? #4509341Ayyy. Maybe you should create an account so I can say the same thing! Haha. But, gotcha. I’ve never gotten this path message either so I’m curious. The legends are true
You could’ve gotten a credit of some type 🤷🏼♂️ But chances are it’s just an alternative message for you that they’ll group you with the pathers
February 12, 2022 at 2:10 pm in reply to: WMR Updated Twice Today. Is PATH a positive message? #4508995I went from one bar to Path message never had that happen before I’m nervous. I’ve always gotten the path message but never lost my bars
It’s very rare to not lose your bars when getting the PATH message. At least in my experiences over the years.
They adjust those dates accordingly. You couldn’t have had a December 31 in 2022 as it surpasses their mid April deadline (of which collects interest). But it also couldn’t be of 2021 as that’s the same filing year. They just narrowed your window down more is all.
If she had. O Ill will intentions, just have her give you the credits from the claim. You’ll want to avoid any and all if possible future audits on her as they will possibly require you to paper file too so this is prevented.
Why are they updating?
It’s general maintenance. Happens with websites. Especially with ones like a government entity.
Could be. Just watch your transcripts. Not WMR
filed and accepted 1/28 had n/a on the top two transcripts for a week and they updated right after midnight 2/11. my account transcript has still not updated, all it shows is the advanced ctc…what is going on. anyone else in this situation
Check on your last years transcript and check what cycle code you are.
Thank you @ deepalms…. We are here to help each other and if you being doing this year after year you have gained plenty knowledge of the workings of the IRS😆😆😆
I have zero clue why people put “means nothing” with no details pertaining why. But agreed, keep your head up and the IRS on their toes. They want your money, not give it. Don’t be frustrated, mom. It’ll all work out and we’ll be back here same time next year. Haha.
@fmhelton same transcripts updated overnight, processing date of 2/28, I can see the credits but no 846 code.
Check a few times daily. Some are getting theirs updated at 7am, mine updated at 5am but I still don’t have an 846, but do have an AS OF: 02/28/22. I do have the credit codes too. So it’s now a day-to-day sit and wait.
Means nothing.
Stop spreading misinformation. It does. There’s a window for your refund to be sent out to you until it collects interest. They(the IRS) don’t want that.
It doesn’t give you your true DDD but you know it could be on, before or even slightly after that date. Understand what you’re responding to but they DO have meanings.
That’s a notice alert. You got them for the CTC and stimulus too. Which is just telling you you’re getting a deposit but need to wait for a full figure normally gives you one at the top and just wait for an 846
“Record of Account Transcript” and click on 2021. You’ll see a list of codes probably reflecting the 2021 stinulus and CTC if you received it. But, you’ll want to check for a 846 code for 2022 as that’s your refund.
But there’s other things to check on, your cycle number, it’ll tell you what day/week your transcript updates. Also your As Of: date as it gives you a soft possible date. Mine is currently 02/28/22
Filed and accepted 1/30. Non-pather
Transcript finally updated from NA this morning. Initially without any codes. I rechecked hours later and now showing 846 with refund due 2/16/2022.
WMR still at 1 bar
If you have an 846, I wouldn’t even pay attention to WMR anymore. Transcripts give you better clues as it’s not updated just once a day
My transcripts updated I’m a weekly… everything is showing but my 846 that refund issued…My as of date is 2/28 and it’s another 4/15 date showing so I’m not sure when I will actually get my refund.
I’m gathering the “as of date” to be your true date of “on or before”.
