I called back last week and finally was told I needed to ID verify, since I had previous years tax filings/returns in front of me he transferred me to take care of it right then over the phone. They told me to wait up to 9 weeks for an update/refund. I’m hoping it’s only a couple of weeks. Good luck to all still waiting!
I was accepted 1/28, wmr had 1 bar until 2/18 when it switched to the “delayed” message. Zero updates. N/A on transcripts. Spoke to someone at the IRS March 1st (had to call tax advocate and be transferred) I was told they were going to be sending me a notice but he couldn’t see what it was for and to wait a couple of weeks. No notice came.
This happened to my partner! He even received a DDD and showed “approved” and then “refund sent” on WMR and it never got deposited. His transcripts show deposit canceled right under the deposit date. He CANNOT get through when he calls and my return is still stuck on the “delayed” message on wmr. We both filed and were accepted 1/29 so it’s been frustrating.

I filed the night of 1/28 and was accepted hours later early 1/29. Sat at 1 bar until Friday the 18th when it switched to the delayed message. Still delayed message, transcripts are n/a.
My partner and I are both using PayPal. I’ve still got the “delayed” message but his return has been approved and sent. He had a DDD of 2/24 and here we are the 26th and no deposit!

Delayed message and n/a for transcripts here. I first got the delayed message last friday. Filed 1/28 accepted hours later early 1/29. EIC and CTC. No errors that I know of.
I filed 1/29 accepted hours later, TurboTax, no fees. Claimed eic and ctc. I had 1 bar until this last Friday the 18th, that’s when the delayed messaged happened and I haven’t tried figuring out transcripts yet. Hoping to see a DDD soon!
Filed 2/3, shows that it’s transmitted and today’s date but still pending.
The paper inside the envelope (seen through the clear portion of the envelope) has a date of 1/6/21 and is coming from Kansas City, MO. Yet the envelope is from U.S. Department of Treasury in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I hope this helps, I’m so glad I held out hope for this because it’s very needed. I know you all are going through the same thing so hold onto any hope you have left over the next several days! They’re slowly trickling in.
Okay must have been too long. I’ll post in two parts for those with questions regarding informed delivery and/or Arkansas.
I’m in Hot Springs, AR and my informed delivery shows a picture of my mail with a message below stating “Important mail about your economic impact payment is arriving soon. Click to learn more” then next to that it says “From U.S. Department of the Treasury.
How do you reply to this thing?!
