So I called the DOR and it is exactly what Georgia said they sent me a pin verification that they are not able to upload into MTC and I should receive it by Wednesday he stated. He said once I receive it and go online and verify then they will give me a DDD date
Georgia: Thank you so much I am hoping I get it in the mail soon. I really need it. Do you know when they sent yours out and how long it actually took you to receive it in the mail. I have informed delivery so I know its not in todays mail
Check this morning and MTC says I was sent a letter on 03/10 and to give it 3-5 business days to receive. Does anyone know if the letter shown will end up showing in my MTC account as an alert so I can see it before receiving it? Does anyone know what type of letter it is
@Adam I said the same thing. but they said a lot of the fraud is from the early filers.
I filed my co-workers taxes Thursday and she got her state check today. I was advised that all taxes filed early or beginning of February are delayed and checks are being sent out instead of direct deposits due to the amount of fraud. They are randomly running cycles and double checking as a lot of people have to do an Identity verification due to the fraud. I filed 01/22 for accepted 02/01 was advised they did not start processing until 02/02 so we should be counting from 6 weeks if the date of 02/02 I was advised it has NOT been a full 6 weeks for anyone that has filed until 03/16 I hope this helps.

i have always filed early and always got my state refund with in 5 days of opening day of accepting this is the first year I have ever had to wait this long. The new system they use sucks
Just called DOR and she basically told be because I filed before January 29th the 1st official opening day of filing I was pushed to the back of the line. She said yes they received mine 01/22 but its 6 weeks from the date of 01/29 so I am just in the beginning of my 4th week and for me to give it 2 more weeks
This is crazy how the received mines 01/22 accepted 02/01 and still nothing it is still in green and no ddd. This is the worst year ever for them. I had their new system. I have never wait longer then a week from me filing for my state check.
Does anyone know if the system is updated all through the day or just once a day?
So had a ddd for Fed of 02/22 got mine today 02/21 But my state refund is still in green with no ddd date
Welcome Jackie E , I got a ddd of 2/22 and I am hoping I get mine before hand like you… I usually get my pay check 2 days early on my card so hoping I get my taxes early as well
Jackie E : When it’s say 2/22 yes you can get it before it’s up to ur bank or card also it’s say by so that means you can get it earlier….

I think we will get out fed on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday and all banks are closed.. so I’m planning for it being Tuesday
Finally got a ddd for federal or 02/22 still nothing for state
The Path Message will be there till Saturday 02/17 the IRS updates there deposit dates on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s I was told… earliest deposit due to the holiday will be Feb 20th for anyone with the Path Message
I am still getting green ($) for my state and it sucks because I have coworkers that have got their state that have an EIC and ACTC but received theirs
MTC received 01/22 accepted 02/01 been in the green since, I called DOR due to seeing some people got an ID verification letter to see if I had anything on my refund. DOR told me there is no alerts or letter that have been attached to my refund. I asked rep that answered why I have not received it she said you are still right on time for the 4-6 weeks and there is a separate dept that control the refund. I see that someone people was told it was an auto system so I am confused. Online it says the IRS will start to update the Wheres My Refund for Federal as of 02/17 so I hope i get someone news from my state or federal soon
