Has anyone updated on SBTPG and Pending deposit? We never answer this question year after year…
We go through this year after year and it remains unanswered, so here I go to try my luck again:
Has anyone that has pending deposits, see an update on SBTPG? Everyone that gets their deposits seem to vanish after their announcement lol 😂
Guys keep in mind that people can create multiple usernames and even comment without email so you never know who’s trolling. So the comment about reading the tax law and the breakdown of how it all works on the IRS website is gold advice. I can tell by how some of these comments are coming in that this may be happening as some of the original trouble makers have vanish since last Friday and now we are getting flooding with more disrespect. I even saw one guy complain about a moderator deleting his comments that another person said under a different name! Man people are cookooo!!!!!
That’s a disturbing message if true. But as far as how can they get away with it? Most people don’t know the the IRS is ran by the federal reserve. The federal reserve (the folks that keep printing dollars basically) is ran by an offshore bank. Alan Greenspan, one of the former chairs told congress they don’t have to listen or adhere to our laws because they print our money. This is why some say JFK was killed, because he was the last period to audit them. Ron and Rand Paul are trying to audit the fed now. Just a brief history lesson. This is 100% fact (about the chairman, and the Fed). The federal reserve was givien the name federal as a way to make people accept our money was being printed by an offshore entity. It’s unconstitutional, this illegal to have a foreign entity create our currency. So in essence it’s no more federal than federal express. There’s a witty cartoon movie that explains all of this and where they came from in about 40min. It’s called the American Dream Cartoon on YouTube. Highly recommend you all watch it while we wait. Be advised though, itmay make you very angry…
For anyone late in the convo, cycle codes 0505, 0405, and 0602 have all received 846 (returns complete) + a change in WMR message.
*0602
I have confirmed that 0602 is also now receiving transcript updated + new WMR message.
So that’s 0405, 0505, and 0642. Good luck!
I’ve confirmed cycle codes 0505 and 0405 are receiving code 846 on transcripts on the IGMR FB Page. Good luck guys!
I’ve just confirmed that cycle Code 20170405 is getting 846 codes on transcripts. Several confirmed on the fb page.
My amount was NOT showing during path message. After the change tonight it shows again with the message you guys got too. So yeah I think it’s a good sign. I’m on the Facebook page seeing if anyone that got code 846 on their transcripts tonight had a change on WMR. So far no one has indicated so.
I got the same as you guys tonight but instead my still shows my refund amount on the left. Wonder if that means anything since some of you guys’ have disappeared.

February 15, 2017 at 10:52 am in reply to: On 2/15 eveeyone with update here if anything changes PLEASE #4171262@Jarron
Based on my experience, if you’re entitled a refund, and it’s approved with a DD, within 24 you should have it, depending on your bank. Usually we see refunds before WMR update to approved status. So you’re very close if everything is good to go, right account, etc.
I’m really disappointed in this years forum. Why are we not investigating ourselves? We can’t blame people for speculation. Blame the trolls (absolute lies), not people speculating. People seem to take info as face value and simply aren’t reading other topics, not asking for sources outside of the old “I’ve done this for 300 years, have family in the IRS, family tax business, etc. it’s comical, but sad. We have to do a better job at educating g ourselves. Start at IRS.gov, read the archives that are free, press releases that are free, and your tax preparers website (as major preparers usually have most credible info). But yeah, I think the bashing and over sensationalizing the misinformation word would stop if we would just, well, read….
P.s. I’m still waiting too. Filed 1/7 with both credits. Got state 2 weeks ago.

February 15, 2017 at 8:24 am in reply to: On 2/15 eveeyone with update here if anything changes PLEASE #4170980So there was a trick you could do to continue checking WMR when you exceeded your attempts to check by opening a privat page in any browser. That has now been patched. Just letting you guys know.
I imagine it’s because they knew so many ppl would check today that it would have took the website offline. I was doing that trick everyday since 1/7 (obsessed, much?) 😂. Sucks though ha

Processing date 2/13/17February 14, 2017 at 12:47 pm in reply to: Does SBTPG get deposits from IRS throughout day? #4169940Cool. So maybe we should check sbtpg instead of WMR (if we are assuming we are good to go)? Just seems logical as they may show a deposit before WMR, right?
February 14, 2017 at 12:34 pm in reply to: Does SBTPG get deposits from IRS throughout day? #4169911My question is though, “Does SBTPG update before you get your refund, or can is deposit happen without an SBTPG update?”
Yea, I had to get approval. This is my last year in this forum because it gets too personal year after year. Been around for about 3 now and sad that we can’t eloquently express how we feel without someone trying to get you to see and own their perspective. I just take the approach of hear info, research it, and report. I’m not anyone’s parent, debate moderator, WMR police, or even trying to obtain credibility through forcing my opinion or reports on others. I think we all learn from each other, and I’ve learned enough now where I don’t have to come back. I hope that trend continues or they start moderating more not to supremes opinions like others have suggested, but to keep it clean. That would make this forum friendlier. In my opinion of course :p
All I know is I have both transcripts , filed on 1/7, accepted 1/12, bars went away on the 24th, path message the 24th also, but couldn’t get transcripts until 1/28. Processing date the 13th, so I like many others expect to get my refund by the week of the 15th (next week). I hope you all get yours fast! Peace ✌️
@tnmomof4 🎉🎉🎉👌😍… The law is law, but the algorithms in place need to be tested (as they do every year) to ensure accuracy of those systems. Just as the IRS agent told me opening week. A+ to you. A feaking +.
At this point I’m starting to feel like Jeff in the sense that people will believe what they want so I’m letting it go. We all aren’t lying , everyone isn’t crazy, seeing things etc. it’s on multiple forums like TT, etc. Yes we know it shouldn’t happen. Yes we know it’s the law lol. Yes we know someone will slip through the cracks because if you believe anything is 100% in our country you’re foolish. And just in case anyone came into the conversation late, no one is saying people are getting their money before 15 February. We are reporting that people have gotten direct deposit dates set for January 30, and Feb 1st that have a combination of either EIC and ACTC, EIC and No ACTC, and even EIC and ACT. Either way it goes by law this should not be happening. So obviously some people are getting through. If they get their money that’s another story and I’m not particularly concerned about that. I am personally concerned with the fact that the system is not 100% and this is the reason why we have to wait longer for money? My argument is not with anybody in the forums. It’s an inquiry as to why this “hiccup is happening g.” And when I spoke to the IRS last week (and I have documented it well in various topics in this forum), they didn’t have an answer as to why it’s happening, and told me that the system decides how the process goes unless they have to manually process it themselves. They have a very elaborate system in place that checks and balances itself. I need everyone to fully understand what that means. Do I’m done with the conversation lol. We spent hours talking about it last night. At this point I feel like I’m talking in circles, and there is zero understanding from the newer people that posted, because they’re not reading the earlier posts just as the community rules suggest everyone does, nor are most of the commenters fact checking. And I do appreciate those that have. Thank you have a great day and good luck everyone! :)
-Frank
I agree with 99% of what you’re saying. The only 1% is about your 90% lol. I am in the exact same bias as you except I don’t have the PATH ACT paragraph (as of 1PM EST). I just have the regular TT152 messsge and the 21 days….. return may take longer under certain circumstances, etc… Nothing about the PATH ACT that’s obviously referring to the ACT itself.
@Nory
That is very useful information, but the wild card this year is the Path Act. That trumps all cycle dates, since by law no one with qualifying credits can get their refund until at least the 15th.
Oh and Michael,
I did note in my post it wasn’t from the IRS…..
I swear it seems like the rudeness level increases here every year. All I was saying was IF people wanted to do that, they should explore that option. I’m not anyone’s financial advisor so I it’s not personal man. Y’all IGMR police need to chill…. It’s almost like you guys have an auto response ready to go as soon as someone posts lbvs.
There are some people getting refunds through a RAL. Liberty tax service is doing it. People with path credits are getting loans (not from IRS ) up to 1,300. Call and confirm. So next year maybe folks should explore that option to take the edge off the wait a little.
February 4, 2017 at 7:20 pm in reply to: Early Filers with processing message and no update? #4158957It’s definitely not a glitch. I just received both of my transcripts in the mail today (It actually took the full 10 days this year) today, and like many others, it shows how much I’m getting back, a 2/13 processing date, and a 20170405 cycle code.
You get the path act message when they have processed your return. All of my info is below….
Filed 1/7
Accepted 1/12
Filed with TT, fees taken out of refund, received state yesterday (don’t mind showing pics if needed)
Filed as HOH, EIC, and ACTC (had a new born last year)
WMR Showed path act message for last week and a half (and is still there)
SBTPG still shows the amount they are expecting to receive (started showing that on 1/13, a day after I was accepted)*I usually get my refund on the 12th of Feb, and with me being under the law, but an early filer (since they are sending out refunds in order received as of 2/15, I’m expecting my refund closer to the 15th than the 27th as the message says. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated.
I apologize for the grammatical errors…
I believe sir, you misinterpreted the early filing warning from the IRS. Let’s look at this literally.
Possible Refund Delay for Some Early Filers:
The PATH Act mandates that the IRS not issue a refund on tax returns claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit until Feb. 15. The additional time helps the IRS stop fraudulent refunds from being issued to identity thieves and fraudulent claims with fabricated wages and withholdings.
1. The title of the section firstly say “possible”, and is not implied as a certainty.
2. The mandate for the path act stated on the opening statement reflects the law that is imposed on everyone, and not just early filers.
3. The additional time they need to protect us from fraud is clearly stated under the understanding they are talking about those who file early, since that’s typically (not always) when fraud occurs during tax season. It’s a simple ‘catch em early’ stategy based on their statistical analysis.
In short, this clearly applies to all, but they are just acknowledging if you are used to filing early, due to the law, you should be advised at how the law may or may not affect you.
*I am a path act recipient, and annual early filer (1/7) and show no bias in trying to explain this. Good luck all.
I just got notice today that my NE state taxes were approved and will be deposited by 2/3 (Friday). I had both credits. The law doesn’t apply to state.
There are lots of people here and other forums online.
*leads
And the evidence just keeps pouring in…..
Keep me updated on whether or not you guys get your deposit before the 15th because this could be a hiccup up in the system or a could be what the IRS lady told me last week. The fact that it is happening to a lot of people leave me to believe it’s not a hiccup.
Hello,
I filed on 1/7 and was accepted on 1/12. Last Thursday I was able to order both transcripts. The next day (Friday), My bars disappeared and I now have the Path Act Message.
My state NE is on the way. I filed with TT. Since I claimed EIC and ACTC (as I always have done for years now) I shouldn’t expect anything until the 2/15- or later.
Hey thanks man. I wasn’t trying to be right though. I just wanted to state what I was told without being called crazy, etc. But hey, it’s the internet :D! Have a good one and keep us updated!
Btw, my NE refund is on the way. Day 3 on the path act message. Filed 1/7 accepted 1/12. Expecting to see the message until the money is already deposited. How it was for me last year as welll. Good luck all
@Jeff I believe you are mistaken and are basing your arguments on a statement that doesn’t exist. NO ONE is saying they got their DD’s. We are saying they got DDD’s and NOT the PATH Act Message.
I’ll repeat. People have said they have gotten direct deposit dates of 2/1, and they have the earned income credit and additional child tax credit. I hope you understand now.
And again… WE KNOW ABOUT THE FREAKING LAW ALREADY LOL.
I have the correct one of my errands as well LOL. I have prepared for 20 years I’ve helped other people prepare for the past 12 years and I’ve been on I got my refund for about three. And I help answer questions all year. I’m not one of those people that just disappear after they get their refunds.
Yesterday was able to order both transcripts via mail
3am Bars disappeared, and was replaced with PATH ACT messsgeFiled 1/7
Accepted 1/12
EIC and ACTC@Necie
I agree fully!
[Processing happens before payments are sent.
Releasing funds is not the same as processing.
So it makes perfect sense that you’d see 13 February as the processing date.January 27, 2017 at 4:36 pm]
@herewego
I’m in the exact same boat. I think there was a batch that went through for early filers because I filed on 1/7 and was approved 1/12 with HOH and ACTC. Hope this means we’re good!
[Not sure what this means, but I was able to order both my transcripts yesterday and WMR showed 1 bar – I claimed EIC and ACTC. I went on and checked this morning bar is gone and I got the PATH message.]
That’s correct. You have to use a contract phone, in your name. I ran into that earlier this week as well. You can still order via mail. Takes longer, but you should get them back within 5 days. I usually get mine in 2-3.
[It appears I can neither request my transcripts online OR register an account on this website without having a contract cell phone – they will not use a pre-paid phone to register.]
As much as I’d like to hope that would be true, under the law it’s not allowed. I’m in the same boat as you too!
@Lind1959
Oh no…… :( If you need any other help please reach out. Keep those fingers crossed! Maybe they are working your file now!
You’re fine with the questioning LOL that’s what we’re here for.
So what it showing you is your deadline for filing taxes is April 15. It’s pretty standard. Your cycle shows the week and the day of that week that you should have your refund by ( or will be processed by).
Sorry for the errors in typing. I’m using speech to text and it seems like I’m giving a lot of speech and not getting enough text :)
@Pat – Hilarious but true haha….
@Kari, I think there some significance but I don’t think disclosure on that will never be found most likely. Here’s a thought though for considering. Is it possible that our cycle codes aren’t what we think and actually they are codes that reflect when we will be full processed set up for a DDD next (like you said in your response happened to you), and the process date is actually a deadline or target?I could be stretching but again this is the government were talking about LOL
Based on the information that you see from the IRS agent, yes it can be true. I would definitely keep my fingers crossed but not keep my hopes up certainly. I’m quite sure we will see you within the next seven days A huge amount of people saying WMR has changed and a lot of people will show processing dates reflecting what we have currently that followed around or on the same time we did.
@Lind1959
First off, hello! You’ve come to a great place for answers! Now that answer…
This exact same thing happened to me earlier this week and I was unable to order my account transcript or return transcripts online because my phone number is actually named under my mother-in-law. Your phone number have to show your name it has to be billed in your name in order for them to trace it.
Now as far as entering your address , Make sure that you were entering the numbers in the street only. You do not enter your full address.
If you’ve done that as well, Then that simply means that you probably need to use your address you used on your returns last year. These may or may not update depending on your tax situation. For example last year I lived in a new address but I still ordered my transcripts with my old address. I don’t know if the post office can legally forward your mail from the IRS, but they did in fact do that for me to years in a row.
If that doesn’t work, then you probably need to contact the IRS directly. Good luck.
It’s all good I understand how stressful this can be just like the next person LOL. I just know coming together is going to bring us more answers than the opposite. So it’s all good :)
@AM88
I remember that to a T, and I fully agree. I’m in the exact same boat as you. I file early every year. I’m talking 1/1 early lol. I had no problems until last year when the re-sequence occurred. I ended up getting mine (even with it being under review on 2/12. My cycle is 20160505 (weekly) which is probably why mine were done (transcripts available) today. Just a guess.
You’re exactly right. I’m not sure if the 1/29 had EIC/ACTC as I didn’t remember them saying that this morning. I could be wrong. What I do know is we both have 2/13 dates on the processed section of the Account transcripts.
And yes, you are so right! I don’t want to go off the deep end (although I will lol) but maybe the AI has the right to do that? I know it’s far-fetched and science fiction but in our world especially the technological world it’s very well possible. The AI system would be exempt from that law perhaps.
Also something to consider, how many loads do we have on the books that are constantly being broken every day and no one goes to jail for whether small or major? LOL
I’m just upset they turn this into a law as well. I think there were other measures that they could have taken for sure.
@Kiki Now you know I haven’t read all your messages lol! Smile hun we’re all in this together. I meant no disrespect or was trying to undermine your post. I was just posting my results that happened to be the opposite of your theory. No worries though. We all shall see when the great wizard AI gives us our money :p
Lol thank you I was confused lol. And I meant if *passes with flying colors on the first post.
I also took her answer to question five just as it was typed. I asked about DDD and whether or not the new law affects those purposely. I know that they do in theory but what she is saying from my understanding is that the system that is automatically programmed to search for the things that they want them to search for camp has somebody with flying colors if everything checks out correctly.
I asked how that system impacted the new law or vice versa and according to her it doesn’t. They compliment each other. The questions that I decided to ask more questions that cannot be misinterpreted or misrepresented. I did my best to ask the questions they did not allow any wiggle room and questions that he owed it direct answers. I feel I got those answers. The rest is out for everybody else to wait and see.
So far myself on my transcript end, and one other person in this forum this morning, received a date of February 2/13 for a processing date on our returns and the other gal actually got a WMR update DDD of 1/29.
I’m not sure if she was telling the truth about WMR but I am most certainly telling the truth and can confirm that when she said she got a process date of February 13 that it is true because the same thing happened to me this morning minus the WMR update that she’s talking about and that’s what prompted me to call.
I definitely understand your point and I definitely respect your post. I also agreed that we will never have full disclosure because we never do anyway on anything in our country side issue though.
What I will express is that I don’t feel it was contradictory because I asked a specific question she gave me a specific answer and she also reiterated two times in the conversation on whether or not I was speaking about the additional child tax credit or the earned income credit or both. So if there is any contradictory statements or misinterpretations I personally feel it would have to be on her end, which I doubt because my questions were clear and cut.
In this case you would have to simply contact her employer about processing a refund because I took out too much. That exact thing happened to me last year by about $100 and my employer told me that they are not responsible for taking out too much as it is our responsibility as taxpayers to file our W4s correctly. But good luck and I hope your company is a lot better than mine was.
Okay guys, I’ll actually start a topic about about this call I made. It will be titled “Update on IRS Systems You want to Know!” Now, before I say this, know that I spent 30 minutes on hold, and I promise I’m not lying. I want my funds like everyone else, and being a father of 4, and married, I would play with anyone’s emotions. I took the initiative of writing the questions down, and asking them directly so there is no ambiguity. In other words, you can trust what I’m saying. Below are the questions I asked, and the answers to them:
1. When I ordered my transcripts it shows a processing date of 2/13. I thought because of the PATH ACT law you guys couldn’t send us our funds owed until 2/15. This has happened to several people in forums online, so I’m sure we all have a common denominator on this. Why is it showing this, and why is there a post dated processing date on 2/13 already?
Answer From Agent: Im not sure why it’s showing a processing date of 2/13. We have not had many calls about refunds yet, but I can tell you that the law says we cannot send funds from EIC or ACTC until after 2/15/17 (she said after, which was disheartening lol).
2. Okay, so why would the system put 2/13 for my processing date if we can’t receive funds until after 2/15?
Answer From Agent: I can’t tell you exactly why, because we really don’t know. Again, it’s not something we’ve had mentioned in my department. We don’t handle that. Did you have EIC or ACTC and your account said the process date of 2/13?
3. Yes it did me as well as many others online. So could you tell me if there has been anyone yet with EIC and/or ACTC that has received refunds yet, or DDD’s (I said DDDs, and she knew what I was referring to)?
Answer From Agent: I have not handled any case that has a refund yet, and as far as direct deposit dates, there are various systems people have to go through that are not in my department.
4. I really appreciate your answers. I have just 2 more. The first is about those systems. Are you saying that each case is handled by automated systems that check and verify everything?
Answer From Agent: That’s correct. The system is programmed to check ID verification, SSN, and whether or not returns need additional screening at that point we will look at the returns manually.
5. Okay, so during these checks the system does, even though the tax law for refunds have changed, is it possible for someone to have a DDD before 2/15, or does the system stop it because of the new law?
Answer From Agent: It’s possible for someone to have a DDD if they are cleared of the checks the system uses.
6. Oh wait. Just one more question. Will WMR update as usuall if dates are given, or will it hold to update until 2/15 for EIC and ACTC?
Answer From Agent: If there’s any updates to anyone’s account, it will reflect on WMR no matter what.
Please share this guys as much as possible. Should calm a lot of nerves as it sounds like the AI does it all, and it can determine if it’s okay to “pass” an account for a DDD, which according to this Agent, can happen as the system deem fit.
Good luck guys,
Shwa

I was accepted on 1/12 (and ordered transcripts) and mine is fine. Is all of your info correct (silly but honest question) when you sign on to Sbtpg?
If yes, then you may be having an update tonight as many are suspecting will happen for some that are in the weekly processing cycle.
I’m not so sure about that theory. I filed 1/7, Accepted 1/12, ordered both transcripts as of this morning, no Path ACT message. Please see my post from my IRS Agent Call an hour or less ago.
Same Here!
Filed 1/7
Accepted 1/12
1 bar, TT152
NE State Accepted 1/24
Cycle Code 20160505 (last year this gave me a DDD of 2/10 (when I received my funds, and yes, I’m aware of the new law)Yesterday I used my old address to access returns for 2016 and they weren’t available. This morning, both were available for delivery using my new address. Based on the same things happening over the years, it’s time for the hard part- waiting lol.
Speaking of the new law, in the forums we have a long time user of IGMR who had filed early, and got their returns online which showed a 2/13 Processing date, but WMR shows a DDD of 1/29. This person claimed HOH, and EIC only. Just thought I’d add that for further debate/discussion.
*I am in the process of calling the IRS now to ask why it’s showing people processing dates in advance. I’ll keep you all updated shortly.

One more thing, WMR bar updates usually occur between 3-6 am EST. I say usually because there has been some over the years that have seen it at odd times (I’ve personally seen a 1pm update, but only one time), and it was a normal tax season (normal meaning no errors or holds on my return).
-Amber
It’s not uncommon to see that happen. After years of filing, and 3 years on IGMR, I’ve seen it all. If you see something this weekend or even Monday- awesome! If not, just know you’re very close because if you can order both, that means the only update left if the WMR.
Good luck and keep us updated!
Dear Herewego,
As stated below,
Ordering transcripts simply means 2 things:
1. Your return is being “worked” (if you can only order your account transcript)
2. Your return is finished being processed and is now awaiting a DDD (even though your transcript may show a deposit date).
*The deposit date on the transcript is the date by which it should be completed (meaning deposit has been sent already to the treasurer, to be sent to you.
Good luck!

Sam-
Based on what I know that is the date your tax account is completed, and processed (DDD becomes available/funds available. This has happened to me 3 years in a row. I filed on 1/7, and was accepted 1/12. I was able to finally order both transcripts via mail this morning. I’m positive I will have a DDD within a week.
Of course it’s speculation, so I don’t want to get your hopes up, but again, that exact thing happened to me 3 years in a row. I would also reference you to the new law that went into effect this tax season for further possible delays.
Good Luck!
I was able to order my account and return transcripts 5 min ago. My new address was automatically updated as well. I have EIC and ACTC. Filed on 1/12 accepted 1/13 through TT. Filed for 3 years with Feb 10-12 DDD based on my cycle. New law may change that though.
