I was just told today I had an error 900 but I was assigned a TA already will they still help me?
I had an advocate and sent in my hardship and she said my refund would be posted the 25th. My refund is still due to be taken so what was the reason for the advocate I am really confused.

The only thing that worked for me with TurboTax is when I amended it was super easy! Besides that I call it TurboWack!!

@Calypso: Omg I seen a letter from the irs on my informed delivery as well. I call they didn’t check my account and he like you have to wait and see what it is!! I don’t see it on my transcripts either and I bet we both got the same thing.

@Amy: I just shed a few tears at work and I am dead serious because I know how this feels. I have bad rental history and I was in the shelter for three months because no landlord would rent to me. I wish I had my refund because I promise I would send you money for a hotel for at least a week. I will pray for you please try and get a TA if you don’t already have one please.

@ Rach: You can look on the irs.gov site on the wheres my amended return section. It’s like the original where’s my refund but there just isn’t an app for it you have to check online.
@Nesirie- Yes I have a TA she said she will contact the irs to make it move faster. She said I will hear from her on the 14th or before and I apologize I didn’t know for certain states the mailing address is different.

I was assigned one on the 9th of this month after I called the intake line she told me that information. My TA said it was because my wages didn’t match so I faxed my 1040x to her and mailed it to the irs like she said. She told me the faster I get it in the faster I get my refund. Do you know the process of what happens after they get the info they need?Em please don’t have a mental breakdown everything will be corrected. I am sorry to hear all this pain your going through and I know you will be strong for your children. I just don’t understand why they are doing this to people that really need it. It is very depressing and I promise I look at my bank account everyday praying I get the money. It will work itself out I know it will for all of us especially those who are depending on it.
