      @Jennifer

      Hang in there. TA’s are working with limited access to IRS workers. I got my advocate in mid to late March, and didn’t receive my refund until just last week! Once the initial problem is fixed it will go through the cycle as if you just filed, so can take up to 21 days after that.

        I posted on Saturday that I finally updated and have a DDD of 4/29. YAY! Anyways, some of you have your direct deposit date, but it hasn’t shown up? Have you checked sbtpg to see if the funds were distributed elsewhere? I would check with that.

        Second, this is how TRULY messed up our gov’t is right now, and the IRS. They sent my bosses dead father a stimulus check. Seriously. Mind blown…

                @Shaun My TA is monitoring the accounts she is working on. She is pretty amazing and explained everything perfectly. I was like ANOTHER 3 weeks?! Until she told me it is basically like filing again once everything is approved.

                  @Jennifer Ugh! That sucks! Why on earth would they wait like that? My boss messed my SSN (last 4) since 2018 and knew he messed up, and never fixed it. When I mentioned I was under a review, he told me to check my w2 because my SSN is wrong. I was LIVID.

                    @ Jennifer That’s a good thing! She (TA) said she has had a lot of people who had an issue of their employers not reporting their wages, or reporting them incorrectly. :(

                      @Jennifer

                      That is what my issue was…and here my SSN was wrong on my w2, so my wages got reported under someone else. Mess. My workplace had to fix it and then re-send wages to SSA and IRS.

                          Just talked to my TA. Everything approved for me, just waiting on the cycle now. She explained that once they fix any errors, or what we are waiting for, it is like we just filed for the first time, so we have that initial wait (up to 21 days). She also stated that anyone who needs an advocate to please call. If you’re in the Great Lakes area (Ohio, Michigan, Indian, PA..etc) I can give you her number. Leave a message.

                            @FedUp Ya, I was thinking the same. It is asking for file dates and all. Meh. Just another headache. I hear from my TA again on Friday in regards to my taxes. They gave IRS until then to give me a DDD. *fingers crossed*

                                Although I got my stimulus, it appears I can, no longer check WMR. It is saying some information is incorrect. I had to put in when I filed, which I did, but I am guessing with the things my TA had to do it has changed the filing date. I’m taking it as good news, and movement on my tax refund! She will be calling on Friday. *fingers crossed*

                                      I’ve had nothing but a great experience with my TA so far. Took about 5 business days to be contacted by one, but she is great. She sent over the info my employer had to give for my situation and within just 2 business days my SSA was updated. She called yesterday and gave IRS until Friday. Then their deadline is up and will have DDD date!

                                            They will be going off of your 2019 taxes and send it via the way you chose. (Check or direct deposit) This is why they stressed for people to file taxes, even if they owe anything. This came straight from my TA.

                                            Seems we are all in the same boat.

                                            No taxes, no stimulus and no unemployment as of yet. My TA is calling back on Monday. Fingers crossed!

                                                  @ Vee….my employer did something similar. They put the wrong last 4 of my SSN on mine. That was a nightmare. On the bright side, my TA put things into gear. SSA was updated today with the correct wages earned, so it is just a matter of time now!

                                                      Got the dreaded 60 day review. Ended up being my last 4 of my SSN# wrong on my w2’s since I was hired there. Mess.

                                                      Get an advocate. My situation would take this out an additional 3 months! Now, I will have it within a few weeks. Maybe less.

                                                      Those still waiting, she did point out that we will still receive our stimulus checks and I will more than likely get mine before my taxes. So there IS light at the end of the tunnel!

                                                        Filed 1/23 and accepted on 1/24. After not receiving my refund after 30 days called IRS, said a review and should have gotten a letter. None came. Fast forward to today. Told my boss about the review, he said to check my SSN on my W2. Last 4 numbers are incorrect. Not just for 2019 but for 2018 also. It didn’t raise a flag because I had another income in 2018. So, he knew, and never fixed it. To say I’m livid is an understatement.
