filed on the 25th, accepted, path message for EIC CTC. (They don’t release those returns until mid Feb) Didn’t file IS form last year because of the student loan debt pause. Got my return 2 weeks later. This year I did not file IS form because of the extension of the pause. Taking advantage of probably the last time I won’t have to file the dreaded IS form before the pause ends this summer.
@leigh17 I filed on 2/10 with TT paid fees in advance. Couldn’t believe it was the fastest I’ve ever gotten a refund. Wishing you good luck and speedy refund. I always file injured spouse for my wife’s student loan debt, this year I took a gamble without IS since they suspended offsets for them. I was in shock, I’m always waiting until march.
Received my refund today. If you or your spouse have student loan debt, no need to file IS this year. Couldn’t believe it but my risk was actually rewarded. Good luck to everyone. See you next year
February 19, 2022 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Anyone with offset. How long will this delay mean ? #4514115@anthony It is worth noting that there are different offset codes. Student Loan offset codes are not 898. Don’t want anyone getting confused thinking that there is only one code for an offset as there are several circumstances with several codes given.
@shaunwilliamson14 my transcripts did update with 846 code DDD 2/24. Today WMR reflected to show the same. I’ll update you but it looks like the gamble may have paid off. No need for IS if your debt is student loans. I’ll continue to update
Transcripts updated 846 code DDD 2/24. Filed jointly wife has student loan debt. Did NOT file IS this year. We shall see
@arielle, wife has student loan debt. I did not file IS this year. We’ll see what happens. Filed on the 10th, accepted and have one bar WMR, transcripts NA.
Anyone else out there that has student loan debt not file IS this year? Filed jointly with all the credits, taking a chance this year due to “suspension of offsets” for student loans.
Filled jointly, wife has student loan debt. This year I did not file IS. I’ll keep you posted.
for the first time I am not going to file IS form. With the protections in place until May 2022 I’m going to take a chance. I’ll keep everyone posted as to whether or not I end up being offset (wifes student loans, filing jointly)
UPDATE! efiled IS with return. Accepted 2/10, 570 3/8 since Feb. Today my transcripts updated with 846 DD for 4/21. I sincerely hope that everyone waiting catches a break soon. Progress is happening. Thank you all for being part of something that gives others hope and direction. Good luck and keep your heads up!
No signs of life for a while. Efiled return with IS. Accepted 2/10. 570 code 3/8. As of on transcripts went from 3/8 to 3/1 now shows 4/26 as of date. Feeling forgotten.
@sam my as of date now moved to march 1. 570 is still stuck at 3/8. Accepted 2/10. Efiled IS with return.
no updates yet, getting worried. 570 code 3/8 accepted 2/10 efiled is with return
waiting waiting waiting. accepted 2/10. Efiled IS with return. 570 3/8. “We have received your refund and it is being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” Here we sit and sit.
Anyone accepted around 2/10 with 570 code dated 3/8 have any movement? Filed is electronically with return.
Hopefully everyone finds each other again. As if we needed more detective work🤣
Filed in Jan with IS form electronically. Accepted 2/10. Stuck on 570 code dated 3/8. Have been sitting here ever since. WMR just says the usual “we have received your refund it is being processed blah blah blah”
Same boat here. Got 3500 stimulus out of 7000. Hopefully we all get a second payment soon. Both mine and my wifes SSN GMP tool says deposit 3/17. Not looking too exciting.
