Dont be disappointed or shocked when you dont get updated to the path message tommorow. The path lifts at midnight so any updates are going to be the bars back on wmr. Just hoping for more than one bar.
Well cindy that all depends on how you look at it. Its good in a sense that your return is processed. It is bad in the sense that you have to wait until after the 15th to get your ddd date or realsed funds.

Try checking it maybe with the mobile app irs2go and try calling the 800 number for checking refunds. Sometimes they have better info. Also there has been times when the wmr updates after my return gets deposited. If you fi l ed an accurate return then you shouldn’t worry. You can always ca) and talk to a live petson but they usually wont tell you anything until the 21 days have past and for pathers it starts counting on the 15th of February

I am assuming you are new to this tax filing thing lol. You have nothing to worry about with tax topic 152. That is the standard tax topic they give you. It basically means that they recieved your efile and are working on it. No worries. Topic 152 is what you want to see. If you get a diiferent topic number other than 152 yoy can start to worry that you wont be getting your refund in 21 days or less.
Check this forum next time you get the urge to call the irs. Some people make prob ‘ll e m s by calling like id verify to confirm they are giving info to you and not an id thief. There are no stupid questions here as long as they are tax related.

I hope you are right. I would be floored if i got a update Sat morning for a DDD on 2/19.
Im in the same boat/batch as you. On 1/27 i was accepted and updated to path sat 2/1. Im a week ahead of last year when i got my refund the very end of February@Jennifer Starr
I updated to path message on 2/1 also
I filed on Jan 23rd
Accepted Jan 27th early morning
Path message on Feb 1stI used freetaxusa so i could get a 2-3 days early depisit and save a hundred bucks.

Did they say who they suspect is behind the hack? I would bet it was South K or Irun if you no what im saying. I dont want to go political off topic. But if its not fake news this is going to be a huge story.
