On MTC it reads the same. I check it on WMR and it says additional information required and they mailed something. Always something lol. Annoying they can’t just put it online
BugFeel better knowing I’m not alone. Lol.
BusterbrownFiled 2/6
Accepted within 1 minute
TT Paid fees upfront

Transcripts showing bottom right 2023 blank
PATHER… so transcripts will populate next week after the 15thGal TechFiled and accepted 2/6
EITC/CTC/ACTC
I checked earlier today and still processing but just checked now at almost 10pm and it says “refund issued by direct deposit” so it’s done!
Return received on 1/24. No EIC .no PATH.. still processing for 2 weeks.taking longer for me this year.
Filed online on 1/21 with HRB. When I visit the WMR get the same “Verify my Identity”. I of course did this on 1/27 when I went to check after the IRS started processing returns. All have gotten back so far is the form CP303. No other information has yet to be received. Monday I contacted the IRS after being transferred around 2 or 3 times got a person who questioned how i even got through to them and was not helpful in answering questions.
Bjazi023I filed 1/19 with TAXACT also and was accepted the same day as well.
Joint return, CTC, EIC as well so I am PATH.Have always been daily in previous years also and usually see movement by now but have not so far.
I am 15 days in still processing simple return stantard deduction non path 1 w2.
Same issue here. Accepted 1/19, WRM at 1 bar, tax topic 152. No movement since it was accepted. I am at 19 days today..
BugWas accepted 1/23 had 2 w2’s pretty simple. No eic or actc. Have had no movement on wmr no letters nothing. Been 15 days since accepted. Wmr still sitting at same message with tax topic 152.
BugAccepted 1/23 non path. Wmr still at one bar still says same message “your return is being processed” thought would had it back by now was simple return and only getting back less than 1500.
February 7, 2024 at 4:30 am in reply to: PATH message different on WMR (“processing delays”)? #4535310OmgitskristaMine just shows the same exact PATH message it always has. Nothing about a delay or anything. Filed and accepted 1/29.
Received on 1/24 no EIC , no PATH. Also show as of 2/19 .I don’t think the date has anything to do with refund timing. I usually receive refund in 10 days, going on two weeks this year and still processing..
BJState doesn’t process until federal starts which was the 29th, but MD conveniently scheduled a computer upgrade right when it opened. No processing was done from 1/29- 2/5 so really the first day was today.
Star screamI been reading and looking into this and no one has an actual solid answer . I filed on 1/20 and accepted with 1/24 via H&R Block online . I have never qualified for EIC or ACTC because I always made way too much, and I normally get my refund pretty fast but this year I claimed my step son who turned 18 last November and this is the first time I ever claimed him along with my 11 year old . So I’m sure I am not PATH act as far as I am aware .
So what is the deal with the account transcript showing $0.00 as of date Feb 19 ?
JenJen00Just updated tonight!
Your refund has been approved with a deposit date of 9-Feb-2024. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be deposited.February 6, 2024 at 9:39 pm in reply to: PATH message different on WMR (“processing delays”)? #4535297So i just read an article on a local news site (nj1015.com) that essentially said on top of all the changes to the various credits and such that the IRS expanded the WMR tool to give more detailed information in certain situations and for certain statuses. Essentially things are not going to look or act the same as they have in the past. So expect some differences in status messages and how the “3 bars” behave.
February 6, 2024 at 9:39 pm in reply to: Account Transcript says Feb 19th 2024! Filed on 1/29 #4535296maxineMine say that also, but I also have to wait on a verify letter…so? *Maybe*?
Yes it’s definitely different. Our refund was approved but it doesn’t show a DDD. Instead it says that if our refund isn’t in our bank by Feb. 12 to contact them. So I’m assuming Feb. 12 is the direct deposit date.
KiwiMy refund just hit my account! Sometime between 6 and 8pm.
Beanz22Filing through Calfile is not optimal anymore. Because we didn’t file through places like Turbo Tax, FreeTaxUsa etc…. We have to wait longer. My sister and I both filed on Jan 29 but I used Calfile and she used FreeTaxUSA. Her refund was approved on 1/31 and she received her direct deposit on 2/2 (NavyFed released early – had pending date of 2/5). Meanwhile, mine is still on processing.
Talk2meonetimeHas anybody ever filed the wrong 1098 and can give me advice on how to go about it? TIA
February 6, 2024 at 7:26 pm in reply to: PATH message different on WMR (“processing delays”)? #4535299neekChecked my transcript everything there but the issue refund code. WMR still say same thing TT 152 I won’t see an update until around the 19th on my transcript again.
BugNow seen few people claiming ddd 2/9. I have my fingers crossed I get refund tomorrow or Friday. I don’t have access transcripts online and wmr isn’t doing anything.
February 6, 2024 at 6:00 pm in reply to: Account Transcript says Feb 19th 2024! Filed on 1/29 #4535295neekTranscripts are filled out just missing the issue refund one, this the fastest I ever seen them move for me.
February 6, 2024 at 5:31 pm in reply to: Account Transcript says Feb 19th 2024! Filed on 1/29 #4535294BEAUTI1980Same here. I had posted about it as well. I was trying to see something too okay cool!
Look for a number 971 on your transcript if you see that number on the bottom I believe that lets you know that a letter will be mailed to you if you don’t see that then your good 👍
February 6, 2024 at 5:19 pm in reply to: PATH message different on WMR (“processing delays”)? #4535292It’s All the same you are correct it’s still kinda early but you should start seeing more info as the week progresses to next week as it gets closer to the 15th that’s all that’s why everyone who claims such credits see the same message nothing to be worried about unless you see anything about verification or some sort just wait to be processed and relax
BEAUTI1980I dont have a PATH message either but read something earlier that they did away with it. I wasnt sure about that.
BEAUTI1980@BevvyKins okay girl I am trying to see something. So we are on the same page. I told my husband I just want to see.
BevvyKinsI don’t know if it means anything, but mine was filed/accepted on 1/25 with HRB (CTC and EITC) and its the same for me. Only bottom two transcripts, account shows as of 2/19/2024 but nothing else
JazhaunWho else just submitted today?? Let’s be sure to keep each other updated!!! Happy Tax Season!!!
Filed 2/6 EIC, CTC, ACTC
Accepted 2/6……. (to be continued)I used taxslayer and paid my fees out of my refund. My state refund posted early from sbtpg. My federal has a ddd of 2/7, but it hasn’t posted yet
JenJen00Mine is till processing. Was accepted 1/23 and refund amount in green since 1/25. SamfromMA
JenJen00Mine is till processing. Was accepted 1/23 and refund amount in green since 1/25.
BEAUTI1980It is a pretty BLUE. It is saying we have received your return and it is being processed so I am on RECEIVED… I got an email when it was ACCEPTED but that’s it… I’m waiting on a DDD. But look at what I posted about HR Block and what my transcript says Im trying to see something too :)
Thanks
BEAUTI1980Hi Everyone
I filed with H & R Block on 1/29. Transcripts say N/A Record of Account N/A but if you look at your account transcript, mine says 2/19 in as of.. Does that mean anything?
I have the CTC AND EITC
Thanks :)
AdamNo update on mine yet. Hoping for one overnight
tsueUnder my Michigan site it says received Jan 25th and it shows the forms but no other information as far as a dd date or anything. I did have a small earned income credit so I don’t know if that is why. Hoping someone has had a similar experience. Last year I did not have to wait and I had the earned income also
@wingback43 I usually have my DDD by the first week in February. So this is new to me. Not much to do but wait.
@Sumbeach Thank you so much!
SamfromMASo me and my boyfriend updated today, but of course it updated saying more info needed and a letter would be sent. My boyfriends I was able to look online and said it was chosen for verification so just had to upload his w-2, paystub, and id, which I did early this AM. Of course mine says a letter will be sent in 10-14 days and I’m not able to look at it online.
NRKThey will take your refund. If your refund is more than what you owe IRS, you will receive the balance.
DanielleFor everybody who’s all out of sorts because OP stated the TT estimated DDD, this website that we are on has the same date for refund/transcripts cycle. I know there’s no guarantee but from past experience it seems pretty close if all goes well.
Coco91Same here accepted on the 30th. Still showing that “your refund hasnt been processed” message
February 6, 2024 at 2:31 pm in reply to: Account Transcript says Feb 19th 2024! Filed on 1/29 #4535267justme119same here! I don’t think it has no purpose. I do think it may be the latest day we will get our refund. Why else would they put “as of”?
Momof3I am a PATHer and received that message last year. I was told since it was my first year being a PATHer that was my issue. They needed extra time to confirm it was me and not identify fraud.
The bad part was I didn’t get my refund until March 15th.GeeGeeI have a DDD of 2/7 as well. My deposit has not hit. I filed through TT, paid all fees up front, and mine is going through a traditional bank.
wingback43Same here. I’m not worried, though; based on past experience, I suspect ddd the last week of February or the first week in March.
NikGSo either of you have a message on WMR? I can’t see anything on WMR and just get the “information doesn’t match” error.
I wanted to check with TaxAct filers.
Anyone get any movement, DDD?
I filed 1/19 and was accepted the same day.
Joint return, only CTC (not PATH), education credits, 1099r, and w2s.
Nothing to delay the return. Transcript show the account and wage as 2023 but not information in them. Have always been daily in previous years.
1 bar since 1/19 and no movement since, even on transcripts.I think that is it. And so….I wait.
Kenny t.Im in the same boat.
BugI was accepted 1/23 and I’m getting annoyed I do not have eic or actc
BevvyKinsI’m waiting on mine too. Still nothing, HRB says it was accepted the 29th
BevvyKinsI’m waiting on mine too. Still nothing, HRB says it was accepted the 29th
KiwiOn Facebook the comptroller page has been responding to people saying they are on track for processing returns and refunds in the order received not sure if that means they started or if they have a plan to start but not releasing the start date to us. Two separate people said they called one said refunds will start two weeks from today and the other said the early filers will start seeing refunds on Friday I don’t know which is more accurate
MatthewFirst year filing in Maine after relocating from Florida. Submitted return on 2/1/24. Received message that return was processed 2/2/24 and received refund in bank account 2/6/24. Very expedient!
RachelI filled early and got accepted in test batch. Eic and all that for me. I checked today and I also have the thing that says mine is delayed. What the heck.
FTB is on a good one this year. It’s been 3 weeks since I filed and i getting the generic “we haven’t began processing returns, it’ll take 4-6 weeks”. Which is bs because several people have received refunds now. Not sure why they can’t manually review and process returns like they have every year previously smh
Filed 1/16
Accepted 1/16
Sent income documentation 1/17Accepted on 1/22 still no update yet.
DONAnyone else’s deposit hit?
Just so everyone is informed, the green amount being there does NOT mean you are processed. That is just the amount they owe to you. When that balance goes back to zero, then you are processed. Don’t shoot the messenger, that’s just how it works.
I filed 2/1 accepted same day with regular DD.
My WMR is return received bar and tax topic 152 and no transcripts available yet.I didn’t claim my brother as a dependent last year I don’t owe anything and neither does he, I already filed for this year can I still amend for last year and claim him? I was planning to do after I got refund so it didn’t mess up my current year
* Oh and I have Tax Topic 152 on WMR page no PATH
TransformingintomeIf I owe the IRS, will they take my state refund?
@ Lolojuju9
You can go to another forum with the rudeness. I already said I am aware of the estimate and posted my update.Anyways,
This is forum for those who have EITC & CTC
TT DD filed & accepted 2/1
WMR bar – return received
Transcripts 2023 N/A
(As of this morning)NikGSo, I was commenting on an IGMR fb post about my information not matching on WMR, even though they were accepted on 1/18. I filed electronically with Jackson Hewitt. I chatted with an online representative to see if they can tell me anything. They said my taxes are “on hold”. What does that mean?! I asked the representative but all they said was to call and talk to someone.
rrunnerI filed mine late 2/3 on TT and still shows pending as of this morning.
No updates here either. Filed 1/18/24 State was accepted 1/30/24 on step 4 of 4 since last week sometime. I usually see SC state deposits starting at 12 noon. DOR site under view returns and periods now says Return Status:
Ontime-ProcessedFebruary 6, 2024 at 10:01 am in reply to: PATH message different on WMR (“processing delays”)? #4535239NeenbeanNo that message is a separate message unrelated to PATH. My WMR has updated to the PATH message and it’s the same from prior years. Only difference I have noticed this year with the PATH message is my bar is still there, prior years my bar was gone with the PATH message displayed.
BetaTestMomHi all!
Is the PATH message just generally different on WMR this year? I know in previous years it gave a message with “PATH’ specifically identified when Tax Topic 152 went away. This year, though, I am seeing way more people say they got a message stating “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available. For more information about processing delays, please see our Refund Frequently Asked Questions.”
When I go to the FAQ link, the PATH credit delays (EITC/ACTC) are included in the list of processing delays. Do we think they just changed how WMR displays the PATH delay?
Any additional info or messages other PATHers are getting would be appreciated!
BusterbrownSBTPG does not send money out until the actual DDD. Even if you use a bank that does early deposits. They hang on to the refund money until the very last minute unfortunately. I started pay fees up front because of this, and get my refund 4-5 days before DDD by avoiding going through SBTPG.
BetaTestMomHi! Filed 1/30 accepted 1/30 with ACTC and EITC. I’m also getting the “still processing…see Refund Frequently Asked Questions” message on WMR (website, not app). My guess is that this is the message EITC and ACTC folks are seeing this year, because if you look at the FAQ they reference it does include those topics as “processing delays.”
Here’s hoping!!
